She gets really anxious around new people and other dogs, but Happy Dogs makes her feel welcome & at ease! They have helped her to come out of her shell & she loves being able to play with other puppers at the groomers! When I come to pick her up she never wants to leave! I can tell a noticeable difference in when I pick her up from Happy Dogs compared to when I have picked her up from other places in the past! They always do a great job with her hair cut & they put bows and a bandana on her! Can you beat that?!? We drive from Lexington to come here & will never go anywhere different! My sister made a reservation for an overnight stay for both her dog and my dog in the same phone call. The drop off hours posted both in their facility and on their website are Monday - Saturday between 7:30 - 11am and the pick up hours posted both in their facility and on their website are Monday - Sunday between 3:30- 6:30pm. These are the only times the Pet Lodge allows pick ups or drop offs. The rates posted both in their facility and on their website are $32/day and $18/day for doggie day care. We dropped both dogs off together about 9am on Saturday morning during the posted drop off times and picked them both up on Sunday about 5pm during the posted pick up times. Based on the Pet Lodge's policy there was no earlier time we could have picked them up. When we settled up our bills, I was charged $67.84 for one night of boarding! My sister was charged $59 for one night of boarding! When I questioned my bill, I was told she was charged the old rates and I was charged the new rates. Now keeping in mind the reservations for both dogs were made in the same phone call and the dogs were dropped off and picked up together, this makes absolutely no sense. In addition to being charged $67.84 for one night of boarding, when I got in the car with my dog, she had a strong smell of urine. She had been bathed and groomed within the last week and smelled fresh when she was dropped off so I have to question the cleanliness and conditions in which she was cared for. It is for these reasons that I do not recommend this facility.

I really appreciated that small bit of communication. It made me more relaxed handing over my two fur babies to a new stranger. It had been 3 months since our 2 dogs had been groomed, usually it's a once a month date with the groomer. They came back to us looking like a million bucks. They looked and smelled great. I felt the prices were right, but the customer service team at the front desk needed to be a bit friendlier in my eyes. The girls seem a bit distracted and forgetful. I had to tell them how much I owed them. They undercharged me. But otherwise, I'll be a returning customer for a long, long time. I highly recommend Misty and Shear Perfection. Our first visit with her and her team was shear perfection!

Honestly my experience could not have been worse…read more TLDR: Don't use Heaven Sent Pet Grooming I used this service because of my pets previous trauma. We have experienced aggressive groomers in the past and since then she has not been the best with groomers. I informed Julie (the sole Owner and Operstor) of this and informed her to stop the session if my pet was too anxious or stressed out. I reinforced that I would still pay in full, but to prioritize the dogs comfort. I'm not sure what happened during the session.... But based on the physical injuries from my pet on my pet, I would like to assume there was some rushing, and aggressive maneuvers. I found active bleeding in her ear from aggressive plucking, I found scabs near her neck and groin area, and my pet seemed emotionally traumatized once again. My pet refused to eat for 2 days and did not go outside in fear of potentially encountering another groomer. Months of behavioral training just thrown out the window. I'm back to square one... For the sake of my pet, Im investing in a grooming kit and will be grooming my own pet from now on. You failed as a groomer and permanently shutting down your Google business pages to dodge public accountability and leaving a final replies just so you could get the "last word" is pathetic. It's also funny that your Google page didn't get any activity for a couple years, but right after I left my 1 star review, two of your friends drowned it out with a 5 star review.
