I ordered flowers online for my friend who lives in Lombard since I live in Los Angeles. The website has a luxury section which I immediately went to since my friend is fancy! I chose an arrangement that had roses, spray roses, hydrangea, etc. I paid $215.00 for the arrangement and delivery. Although my friend was very gracious about the flowers, I was mortified when she sent me the photo. I've NEVER seen carnations or gerbera daisies used in a luxury bouquet. The next day I called and asked if there was a mix up and maybe the wrong bouquet was delivered. I spoke to someone who then escalated my call to Linda. While Linda was very nice, she ultimately didn't do anything to rectify the situation. I'm all about supporting local businesses so I didn't want to post until I gave Shamrock an opportunity to make it right. Linda's only offer was to do "something a little extra" next year if I sent my friend flowers again. Nope, not fooling me into spending more money with you. Linda also told me that the person who made my arrangement often uses more flowers than what people pay for so I most likely received more than I should have in the first place. Inside the cup was a lovely bouquet of roses, alstroemeria and delphinium! Hot pink spray roses, light pink alstroemeria, blue delphinium, green button spray chrysanthemums and yellow daisy spray chrysanthemums are accented with lavender waxflower and variegated pittosporum. This teacup bouquet is from Teleflora's exclusive flowers-in-a-gift collection. $49.99 plus $20 delivery....$20!? Be sure to check the delivery fees for the suburbs because the fees don't calculate until you get to the payment page. I guess Lombard to Woodridge is a bit of a drive and i had spent too much time trying to figure out what I was ordering. They were promptly delivered and the flowers lasted a long time. read more

Asked for blue flowers and were told delphiniums and that was fine. Not a one in any of the 4 arrangements. Granted they gave us a small refund but it still soured us. It was supposed to be a colorful, joyful display; was anything but. Made the mistake of going back for a second arrangement for a second service and specified - plants to be left in their pots and put into a holder. Wanted to give the plants to people at the funeral service. They potted them all! Took it back and they re-potted them but they won't be like the ones that came from the supplier. And now have to deliver them on my time. Excuse?? they were busy with the holidays. The supplier didn't have what they ordered. What happened to respect and business ethics. Can they NOT read the orders they write out??? A simple phone call on the first and just reading the order for both. Don't use them.
