I left tags on and had the receipt, and returned within 10 days. My purchases have always been loaded into my car and samples have been built so I could see the product. Carol makes sure I know how to adjust and operate everything before I leave. I have been really pleased with my experiences there!

The staff are very incompetent about all there products and procedures. After several calls I spoke finally with the local manager only to have her hang up on me on several occasions. I escalated my issues to their executive care team and filed a complaint and never once got any response. I called the Better Business Bureau in Athens , and they referred me to the BBB in Tampa Florida were their LLC/Corporate office is . I was informed that my complaint was one of 968 complaints with their office and only 335 had been addressed! I have never been treated as rudely as I was by the person with whom I spoke--it was as if, how dare I call and request a delivery outside of the normal delivery date. Someone higher up the ladder called me later that day and made things right, but I don't feel that rudeness has any place in a service job.

We are 41 miles away. Their website states that delivery within 50 miles is $50 each way. I was informed at the time of our rental that the website is incorrect and delivery was $1.25 per mile each way. However, the actual charge was $3.00 per mile each way which amounted to $246 instead of the $102 I expected. Had I been quoted this amount at the time of rental, I would have made different arrangements to pick up the van. In a phone call made when reviewing the bill, I was told that there was no adjustment that could be made. Life for those who need this type of vehicle is difficult enough without having to do business with those who take advantage of the disabled community. Shame on you Custom Mobility.
