My husband has made a couple of purchases here including my engagement ring. The service is genuinely exceptional! I can be slow to make up my mind, especially when its a big decision like the ring I'm going to wear every day of my life and they were wonderfully patient with me. We first went to another major local store and were very disappointed in the selection. When I asked about customizing a ring I was told "we have such a wide selection we don't need to offer that." Shane Co not only had 3x the selection but every ring is displayed without a center stone so making it exactly what you want is easy. I love how unique and beautiful my ring is. My husband received several hand written notes from the sales associate as well which was a really nice touch. We will definitely start with Shane Co for future jewelery purchases. read more

I truly hate leaving bad reviews but I feel that this needs to be said. When my boy friend and I began our search for engagement rings we visited Jared, Shane, Davis and Genesis (in that order). We thought for sure, due to all of the hype and advertising, that we would ultimately end up at Shane Co. buying our jewelry. Sadly, thats not the case. I had, hands down, the worst experience as a customer at this store than any listed above, in fact, each of the other stores listed exceeded my expectations in every way. Frankly- the customer service at Shane Co. is lacking. We had the not so enjoyable pleasure of working with a sales associate who is clearly in need of further training. I have never felt more uncomfortable and pressured while shopping than I did by her. She would only allow me to have 1-2 ring styles out of the jewelry case at a time and in order to browse the next case of rings she made me decide between two ring styles right then and there so she could return the less desirable ring to the case leaving me with only 1 ring to move forward shopping with for comparison. In addition to this--as I would comment "This one is beautiful" or "I love this one", she would bluntly and in a demanding tone say "So it this the one? Did you decide on it? Are you ready to commit?"........No, actually--Im not ready to commit, in fact, I plan to try on several more rings until I have completely finished browsing the store because thats what you do when you're shopping for something you're going to cherish and wear every day of your life. I honestly don't know why I stayed at Shane Co. as long as I did because every time she spoke to us I cringed internally. It took a lot from us not to ask for someone else to help us or just leave all together. In addition to her pushy behavior she would ask me "Would you be okay if you came back in a few days and this ring (the one I liked the most) was gone?" Which unfortunately I saw right through (although she clearly thought she was scaring me into a sale) and didnt feel the need to immediately buy the ring from her. I think there is a lot more that I could add in addition to this- but I think by now anyone reading this can get the point. Its uncertain whether this sales associate is new or is just in the wrong field. Regardless, she needs more training if she desires to be in the field of sales and working face to face with customers. I would highly suggest that if you visit Shane Co. you ask to be helped by an experienced team member. Buying jewelry is supposed to be fun and exciting not stressful and aggravating. Shane Co. is the best jeweler around and I would recommend them to anyone. My wedding ring needed to be customized in order to meet my "lifetime worthy" approval. In the beginning, my husband and I purchased my wedding ring and had ideas about how we wanted it customized to meet our desires. We purchased but shortly after I began to question it. Shane Co was so wonderful and even offered to exchange it for me being that my heart was so torn. I just couldn't bring myself to exchange out my wedding ring (following the wedding) although I was torn. I explained what I envisioned and the sales associate and shop people graciously accepted it back for modifications 3x so it could be just right! I am forever grateful for the service I received and will be a Shane Co customer for life! Now 3 years later I bring my ring in whenever I can to clean (super nice they have a no-hassle cleaning schedule), and the sales associates are always attentive, non-pressuring, and genuinely kind. If you live within a fifty mile radius, you've heard the ads. I always thought they were annoying, but when I was in search for an engagement ring, this was the only place I considered. I chose Shane Co, because they aren't commission. I wanted someone who would help me find the perfect ring, not try to push me towards a sale. Service is amazing. I had NO clue what I was doing, or what I was looking for, and was super nervous. When I walked in, associates were smiling, and would ask me if I needed helped when I passed. When I said yes, the lady walked me through everything. She showed and compared me ring after ring to make sure I found the one I wanted. When it came to picking out the diamond, the associate walked me through all of that as well. She showed me how to examine it, and what I was looking for as far as cut, clarity and blemishes and such. When I made my choice, the ring was ready in three days. They resized it for free. They also offer warranty on it and will clean it for free every six months. Everything was perfect. Down to the ribbon wrapped gift box. I highly recommend Shane Co, and we will definitely go back for our wedding bands. read more

Love the Shane Co.! They really make an effort to help you by showing you your diamond in natural light and teaching you what to look for. They have numerous diamonds for your price range and are willing to work with you until it's right. Our trip to Shane Co. was a refreshing experience; we were looking for a wedding set but were not exactly sure what we wanted. At first we were a bit overwhelmed by the selection, but that feeling soon went away. We were helped by two different sales associates and though they each had a different style neither of them ever came off as pushy, impatient or condescending. The second associate, Jackey, spent over two and a half hours showing us different styles and combinations, explaining the differences, but most of all, letting us decide what worked best for us. After all of this, I told her the second most discouraging thing you can tell a sales associate, "We'll be back". She took this with grace and poise. This was a sizable purchase and a token of a lifelong commitment to each other so we wanted to think about it and shop. We did both. Our experience at the competitor, save for the high intensity lighting, was a lackluster experience. After this I called Jackey, and placed a deposit on the set as we did not have time to return that evening. Our return to Shane Co. was a wonderful experience as Jackey helped us select a wonderful 1.04 ct. radiant cut center diamond to complete the set. We will be return customers. read more
