Out of all the dine-in korean restaurants we've tried so far in Ottawa (which I know is quite limited and most aren't authentic- but that's not to say they aren't good): Alirang, Maht, Daldongnae, etc. This is definitely top tier AND we will be coming back. As a small business, they are generous with their refillable complimentary side dishes (which is so yum), the flavour HITS, and the service is so good and welcoming. They kept checking in with us, turned down the volume to the TV that we were sitting under, and kept refilling our tea. inside the restaurant is also quite spacious and has comfortable seating arrangements. The flavour profile was good though. Lastly, we had the beast ramen. The smoked pork belly was nice and crisp and the soft boiled egg was nicely cooked. The noodles seem to be the same ones used in the dan dan noodles. It was enjoyable but the broth wasn't exactly ramen broth that I am used to. I would say that overall it was enjoyable, and prices were reasonable. Service was great. But there is definitely some room for improvement on the dishes. I would consider this more Asian fusion than a noodle bar.
