For a Chinese takeout spot, this is probably one of the most consistent and reliable in the area for me. No matter what my order is, they always tell me my food will be ready in 10-15 minutes. This is especially ideal on days I am super hangry but don't want regular fast food like cheeseburgers. Nothing super unique about the place. It's a typical small takeout restaurant in a strip. This is probably my favorite Chinese take out place. I have been to many in multiple cities but this one is where I've had more good experiences than bad. The menu is like any other Chinese place in the area, very Americanized. The General's chicken is absolutely delicious. It is crispy even with the sauce. The sauce has heat, sweet, and tang while the chicken is white meat. They have a 'pick 4 for 25' deal, which is what I got. It came with two pints of steamed rice and 4 entrees of my choosing.. which was chicken lo mein, generals chicken, 5 egg rolls and pork w/Chinese vegetables. I do wish they offered vegetable lo mein on that menu but chicken was alright. Everything was made fresh and tasted very good, my 3 year old loves their egg rolls and lo mein. Good deal seeing how each entrée is around 7 bucks alone and the egg rolls are over a buck a piece. The service is average. They aren't the most personable people but they also are not outright rude. Had Shrimp in Hot Sauce lunch special (shrimp, onions, peas in a red chili like sauce). This dish is hard to find but it was good. We also had fried dumplings, hot and sour soup and bbq ribs. All in all ok for takeout. read more

I used to like this place until the quality of the food started to decline. It got so bad to the point where I got so sick from their egg rolls. Seriously? How can anyone mess up egg rolls? The people who work there now are very rude too. I was a regular customer but not anymore. read more

I love Chinese food and have tried other chinese fast food here in Smithfield and Carrollton areas and I must say this is by far the most authentic Chinese I've found here. I order my food for pick up most of the time and their pick up service is very quick. I've dined in before and it did take a longer than ordering to pick up. Typical Chinese American restaurant set up. A few tables and chairs set up to wait. I never realized how crappy Chinese food around here was until I went to Richmond for school and came back. Happily, they get my favorite sesame chicken right. It's sweet, everywhere else is super salty, and the chunks of chicken are juicy and fried perfectly. The broccoli tastes fresh, the fried rice was okay, but the egg rolls are really greasy. I like to put them in the oven and heat them up later and a lot of the grease drips off that way. Nothing out if the ordinary about the food here. It's conveniently located to me and I was craving Chinese so thought I would give it a try. Customer service was ok, man who took our order never smiled....he wasn't rude, just never smiled. I ordered the sesame chicken with fried rice. I've never ordered something I didn't like. For $20 you can get a family meal which consists of four choices form a long list of entrees and appetizers. If you call ahead it only takes about 10 min to get your food. The only downfall is that they do not deliver. read more

I have ordered from here several times, and each time I keep hoping that they were just having a "bad day". The food is awful, and the customer service is worse. The woman taking my order kept looking at me like I was wasting her time, and I hadn't even been there a minute. I wanted food not an order of disdain. The vegetable egg rolls were greasy and small. The house chow main looked like sewer broth, and had no noodles whatsoever. The sweet and sour chicken was 99 percent batter, bland and tasteless. The house special rice is decent if you are hungry and do not care what you are eating. Forget calling in, because the menu that you can find via Google is incorrect and the language barrier every time I call is a problem. Being half Chinese and traveled a lot, esp. the many Chinatowns in America and Canada, I have to say this place is awful. I even told them that they were an insult to Chinese Food. Shocking yes, but if you are going to open up a restaurant you better know how to cook. I found many awesome recipes off the internet, just saying....
