Nobody ever called 24 hours before the scheduled delivery date and I called to confirm everything was on schedule. It took me 3 attempts at calling the store to finally receive a call back from Alex to inform us that our dining room set would not be arriving as it was still "in transit". He claimed we would receive the set in a few days. I called the store 2 days later and Alex became very combative with me and even hung up the phone on me. I called back and left a message regarding his behavior and he immediately called me back stating the only thing he can do for me is cancel my order. At that time I didn't want to disappoint my wife so I kept the order in place but I decided to shop the internet. To my pleasure Amazon had the same set and for approx. $600.00 less than Hudson and what do you know...prime delivery the next day. This was one of the issues as there were 2 separate orders with Hudson. The first order was for couches which arrived with rips on one of the couches. When I contacted the store they informed me (by David the manager) that the repair can take up to 3-4 weeks to receive the material and schedule a repair person to come out but this was just an estimated wait time. Now keep in mind the (2) couches were ordered 2 weeks prior and were delivered all with a 2 week window however a repair can take over 1 month with no guarantees it cannot take longer. They informed me the only way I can be credited back for the dining room set was to return to the store (50 mile drive) so they can credit back my card. The Dining room set was credited but to my surprise they charged me a second delivery charge for my daughters couch which was delivered on the same order as my couch. They simply dropped off the couch and left in the boxes at the doorstep. No setup was provided and I did not notice the manager (David) charged for the delivery until my daughter noticed this on their hand written receipt. I immediately called 3 days in a row, multiple times a day to resolve this issue and Alex informed me on each occasion that David was not in and could not tell me when he would be in.This is extremely childish and unacceptable behavior for someone that considers their store the best !! I followed up all communications via email and text and was completely ignored by the entire staff which seems to only consist of David, his brother (which claims to also go by the name David.....hmmmm) and Alex. They also presented themselves to go by the franchise Hudson Furniture and Mattress out of Florida with many stores throughout the U.S. however when I called their main number online they claimed they are not affiliated with this store and my phone number, which was on the order, was not coming up in their system. I then googled their full name with the location of the store and I discovered this store is privately owned and my guess is that I was dealing with owners and not managers. I urge you to Google this yourself and you will see there are many stores. Despite my texts urging to resolve this without involving my bank they took this as a hollow threat in which they will soon learn was not. I have more and I will continue this on another review as I have reached the character limit for this review

I told him straight out I wasn't interested in the Rockers they had on the floor and that I could get them cheaper somewhere else but that didn't seem to faze them. They all got their phones out and they were all trying to help me find the rocker I was looking for. Only a company that's been around for 40 plus years can have such a testament to excellent customer service. They're going out of business because the owners trying to sell the building and then the business. I bought my first furniture from them in 1987 when they were called Kanan's. We still have that bedroom set from then and even though it's dated it serves its purpose in the guest bedroom of my best friend's house.
