He could have pushed for the money now and he doesn't do that. He truly wants to give you the best solution for now knowing that you will more than likely return later. I bought a teak dresser from Steve last month, and I've been very pleased with it. He refinished it and delivered on time, within just a few days of purchase. It looks fantastic and operates well (the drawers open smoothly, etc) and is overall a really sturdy and beautiful piece. Also, you can't beat free delivery in NYC. If you don't find anything you currently like, just wait - it seems like they are always getting new pieces in.
