She said she'd be able to sign me up very quickly. She then had me fill out some information on the screen. It was all very fast. Next thing I know, she tells me that my card will be in the mail in a couple weeks, and she gives me paperwork having to do with MasterCard. I said, "You asked me about Rewards. You never said anything about signing up for a credit card". She then said, "Sorry about that, you don't have to activate the card when you get it". - but said in a tone of voice that said that she really didn't care. So now I'm stuck with a credit card that I never requested and do not want, and constant emails that I also do not want. Yes, yes, I should have paid more attention to the forms I was completing on the screen. Admittedly, I was experiencing some back pain at that moment and wasn't paying much attention. So that part is my fault. However, I will never forget that they had me sign up for a credit card without ever verbally telling me that that was what I was signing up for. That should not be allowed.
