I may have offended her when I said the first time I wasn't feeling the cut as much. She got me in the day of, but she did not manage her time well. She took 15 minutes over my scheduled appointment time to get me in, then of course, went over the time I needed. The hair cut is fine, I suppose, but her impatience with me, and lack of kindness does not make me want to go back. The first visit was much better.

It had since grown out and was horrible--I couldn't style it or make it look decent and was wearing it in a ponytail most days. Kaleigh was amazing!! I explained to her that I would love to take advantage of my hair's wavy texture as well as have options to style it on my own as I LOVE to play with my hair and she completely understood me. She also took in the added factor of me being pregnant and due in just a few months so I'd like something that could be easy as well as something that would grow out well over the next few months. She really did an excellent job of listening to my desires, showing me ideas and taking her time to explain what she'd like to do and why. I LOVE my hair cut! I wish I could take her back to WA with me...but since I can't, I know I'll be visiting her next time I'm here. Kaleigh is a fantastic hairstylist who really does LISTEN to her clients and works with them--that's a combination that I feel is very rare these days.

So I called up this salon to make sure if it was walk-ins or not, thinking they'd be able to pull off this pretty easy haircut that I wanted. Honestly, it was easy enough for my pet rat to do it. Anyways, I rushed down to this hair salon just before it was closing, and what a pitiful time to close- 3 in the afternoon! Check in was surprisingly quick, almost too quick. I didn't even get a chance to take off my jacket. The woman, who I didn't get to meet practically dragged me across the salon so I could get my hair shampooed. She set up in the snap of a finger, I literally had no time to even show her how I wanted my hair to be cut! I showed her one picture, that's all, she said "yeah ok" then aggressively started washing my hair. She tugged on it a lot, not even a bit gentle, never apologized for pulling on it either. She rushed me over to the chair, slapped a cover on my neck and asked if I wanted a trim. Yes, lady! So she started working on my hair, barely asking me what I wanted or clarifying to making sure she was doing it right. I was incredibly annoyed, but I kept praying it would turn out how I wanted. She asked if I wanted my bangs to be cut shorter, even tho I had no bangs. I wanted them tho. I don't think she understood. This middle aged woman, short curly black hair, smudged makeup, wrinkles all around dried my hair with a blow dryer and tugged on it some more with a roller hairbrush. Then my appointment was complete. They quickly got me to pay and I was out of there in less than a minute. Then I saw how my hair looked from behind And I wanted to go back and scream at these stupid employees, "FIX MY DARN HAIR YOU DUMBOS!! YOU DIDNT GIVE ME WHAT I ASKED!!" When I asked for lots of layering, she gave me a crappy trim. I am SO irritated by this salon, mainly for the fact that they charged me $40 for this garbage job, I COULDVE DONE MYSELF!! In conclusion, never go here. Either that or be prepared to practically SCREAM at the employee in order to get what the heck you actually wanted. All in all, I would give this salon a 0/5 stars but I give it 2 because my hair smells nice and the woman was friendly, complimented my hair even. But that is all the good there was in that salon. So if you plan on getting a beautiful, intricate hairstyle or cut, don't rely on this place to give you what you want, because they won't even ask you.
