The comment by Kelly regarding my complaint is inaccurate. She was not interested in providing a solution, but rather to state your 5 day guarantee which is 7 days according to your website. If you were really interested in solving the problem, you had my phone number but apparently declined to call to seek a solution. I stand by my review. I've only had pedis and massages here, but I can 't say enough good things about them. The lady who does the pedis is really really nice and does a great job. But the massages.... I've had lots of massages in my day, but Matt's hot stone massage is the ONLY one I've specifically gone back for more of. Honestly, when I get home I just lie on the couch and smile at people for the rest of the day... My husband and son know that's the golden time to ask for things because I'll say yes to anything. If you had asked me a month ago how I felt about this place of business I'd say great! They give great massages. But based solely off the experience I've had there within the last two weeks getting my hair dyed I would not recommend. Not only was my appointment awkward as the artist barely spoke to me at all the two hours I was there but while my hair was being processed she took a very sharp wire brush to my scalp and scraped it up. I was in physical pain for two days. After my apt I got the total and was in shock at how much I was being charged. I paid and left. After I left I tried to call but no answer. So I called the next day to see if the numbers were correct and to tell her about my experience. After a couple days I got a call back and explained my experience. They said they would look into the charges and get back to me. The owner called me next. She apologized and was listened to my complaints and offered to look back the charges and offer a refund. A few more days go by and they call me and tell me that they did in fact over charge me but would only be refunding me for what they overcharged me. Now it is very clear to me that they only care about the money and not the customer. No one should be leaving a salon in physical pain for days from getting their hair colored and cut. read more

The massage I received from Nicole was great. I didn't like the vibe in the salon itself. It felt unfriendly and unwelcoming like as if me sitting there waiting for my appointment was a bother. I'm pretty sure I saw the owner multiple times in front of me who didn't smile or say hello etc. TLDR-the massage was good, didn't like the salon's vibes and wouldn't go back. read more

My bridal party and I got hair and make-up done here and they were amazing! All my bridesmaids were so happy with how they looked, most of them got amazing up dos. Josie was so great with planning everything and was so flexible with changing what people got done (it ended up being almost 100 degrees day of, so a lot of bridesmaids asked for up dos instead of blowouts). I love, love, love this business! They are so adept at all services they offer. The owner is a doll and all of her personnel are professional and are very nice people to deal with. My facials are always perfect, as are my massages and mani/pedis as well. It is such a treat to enter their door, it is like an oasis for me, nirvana to be sure. This place is as good as it gets in this area. The people working here are top notch, professional, personal, and just lovely. I like to treat myself to massages, pedicures, facials every month. My father recently passed away and I need a little extra to keep my depression at bay. Ive sampled lots of spas, salons in this area, and this place is special. I had the "diamond package", which is a great deal. I had an amazing massage, facial, and nails done. All were wonderful. These people take their job quite seriously, and it shows. I love going to Serenity Day Spa & Salon. I always get my hair cut by Rebecca. The first time I had it done she encouraged me to keep my long hair (I love long hair) and she styled it to compliment my face. I have gone to her ever since (2 years) and I always receive compliments on my hair. Then there is Amber. She does my eyebrows and actually makes it pleasurable. I also had her do my makeup for my daughter's wedding. Her artistry was incredible and I left the Salon feeling and looking beautiful. Emily typically makes my appointments and checks me out. I've always been here on a gift card and the services have been nice; however during my last pedicure the person doing my toes left to answer her cell phone and continued to have a conversation while I was waiting to finish. Don't waste your money on a manicure here. Pedicure was fine, manicure not so much. Shellac started peeling off within 3 days. Booked for a gel polish manicure. Found out during service they only have a cheap shellac. Technician was not familiar with the product, which even she said was awful. No hand soak before beginning, and no offer of lotion afterwards - I had to ask if I could use the lotion sitting on the table, and put on myself at the end. If this spa is going to charge top prices, they need to upgrade their products, and service. read more

My boyfriend bought me a spa day for my birthday so I went yesterday to use it and the experience was interesting. The personalities there are absolutely wonderful, I loved my masseuse, her name was Tracy, she was super nice and the massage was nice. My boyfriend bought me a deep tissue massage, but in the end he could have saved thirty dollars and bought the swedish massage, because this was not a deep tissue massage. I have them a lot and this was not that. so if you like an actual deep massage, try someone else or go somewhere else. The massage though was great with timing, she did every part of my body and I never felt like she rushed. I also received a mani-pedi, there was a huge mix up so I didn't end up getting what I wanted, but they did credit me back the money so I left with a balance. The woman was really sweet and we had a great conversation, but again the service was not so great. Their Serenity Mani and Serenity Pedi was literally some lotion and nail polish. I had my feet buffed a little bit, but there was no massaging on my legs or feet - I have had better mall experiences. Also, if you have anything on your nails you better check with them, as I almost couldn't get my nails done because they don't have the machinery to get certain stuff off like shellac. To sum up- the people are so nice, but for $200 it wasn't worth it. read more
