She brought in drawings of what she wanted. The owner and master jeweler Aiman worked with her to create the exact design she wanted and recommend a few smart changes based on structural integrity and to hide some of the natural blemishes or chips on the diamond after decades of wear. Aiman Also offered that he could re-cut the diamond but told us it would come back smaller. My wife and I decided to keep the natural wear left by my grandmother. He also evaluated the diamond and showed us the wholesale and retail price. We were just curious but had no intentions to sell it. After 2-3 weeks he created a master piece. We are so happy the way we could honor grandma's diamond. As a bonus we sold the gold band and got it taken off the price of the new band. I've never left a Yelp review but just had to share my amazing experience at this Sharif Jewelers. I had told my fiancé my preference was a band as thin and as delicate looking as possible. Little did I know how hard this would be for him to find; he went to so many jewelers who told him they couldn't do it before he found Sharif. Not only did they create the most beautiful band I've ever seen, but they were able to even put diamonds delicately along the thin band. I have looked and looked and have still never seen anything like it anywhere else. It is stunning. My fiancé ordered the ring sizes too big, and Tony was so kind in helping me resize. I am now writing this a year later, after having broken my finger which never went back to its original size. My fiancé, now husband, went to this store after feeling pressured at a different local jeweler, and said he didn't feel pressured here at all. There was a beautiful selection of rings to choose from and he chose the most gorgeous ring for me that I have ever seen. We went back there after getting engaged, were I met Tony, and he was so knowledgeable, sweet and helpful. One of the tiny diamonds on my ring had fallen out of the engagement band and I was upset and worried about it, but he said it wasn't a problem and got it fixed for me within a few days, all covered under our warranty. I got it back cleaned and perfect. He helped us decide on our wedding bands and explained everything we wanted to know. He even had me look at my main diamond through his jewelers loupe so I will always know it is my diamond -- I love that! This place is the best!!! My, at the time, girlfriend got me a very fancy and expensive watch here for a good deal and said Moe helped her a bunch. It was the best gift for our one year dating anniversary. I decided to go back to Moe a year later to help me find the perfect ring to get her to propose and found the absolute perfect one. He also gave me the best deal I can imagine. They had so many options to choose from, it was hard to decide but he was very patient and understanding until we found the one. My fiancé loves it and I will definitely get my ring from here. I also feel really bad about for them because the Howe Ave location got looted during the protests when they don't deserve that. It's pretty hard to find a quality repair shop that would work and I could trust with my fathers vintage ring. As a family heirloom I was pretty nervous about sizing it but from the moment I entered their establishment I was greeted with a friendly tone, the gentlemen also took the time to explain step by step what the process was on sizing the ring. I went ahead and left the ring for repair and once I came back for it the ring was perfectly sized to comfort. Also the price was reasonable let me remind you I did go to three different locations and the turn around was 3 weeks, oppose to 3 DAYS!! In that being said Thank You guys once again. I am a little late in leaving a review about my experience visiting your Marconi location to get a piece of jewelry repaired, . I had to wait for my granddaughter to help me setup a yelp account as I am 70 and am not computer or cell phone savvy. Tony was very patient and explained to me what would need to be done to fix it. I left the store trusting in Tony's advice and am very pleased with the repair. He did am amazing job. I have other pieces of jewelry that need TLC too so when I am ready Tony will be the person I trust to take good care of me. When I finally got it was a rush job, the wrong size, wrong setting, crooked and when they finally fixed it weeks later, they tried to scam me with 10kt gold ring when I paid for a 14kt gold ring. Looking at some the reviews on YELP, I feel some other people have experienced similar things. Management, if you're reading this hit me up. Long version: Bought a new setting for my engagement ring and they said it would take 2-3 weeks. Came in at the designated pickup date and they said it'd be another 2 weeks. Came back again another two weeks later and they said its been a while and they put away in storage and to wait another week while they ship it back to the store. I came back again they said it was locked in their jeweler's box and cant open it, so I had to come back again. AFTER 3 months since I've ordered, I called ahead and they said it was done, went to go finally pick up the ring and had to wait 45 minutes for it to be "polished", and when I got it, it was the wrong size (the whole reason why we upgraded our ring in the first place), it was the wrong setting, it wasn't centered, overall a rush job, it wasn't even polished which makes me believed they literally just slapped my diamond onto the ring within the hour. Was told it would take another week to get it done, and said they would send me pictures and keep me updated this time. They didn't follow up or keep me updated until I called them. I come back pick up the ring, and it looks significantly better before, but I check the ring's stamp and it said 10KT when I paid for a 14KT gold ring. Came back the next day and they didn't make a big deal about it and said the price difference wasn't that much. But its more about the principle of lying and attempting to pass off a cheaper product for something else I paid for. They then said all management can offer me is $100 and that's including all the inconveniences they caused me (which I doubt they told management that part), which isn't enough but I took anyways because having them take the ring back and then traveling back and forth another 4-6 times over the course of 2-3 months to fix it just isn't worth my time.
