I'm happy to find Lukin's after a horrible experience at another watch repair shop in Sacramento. The other shop scratched my dial, bent my watch hands, and replaced the crystal with a horrible after market one. I brought my vintage Omega piece over to Lukin and after a few weeks, the watch was beautiful. Lukin did an amazing job restoring my watch and replacing the crystal with one straight from Omega. Lukin will be my go-to for all Omega and luxury watches.

EDOX automatic with a ETA movement that needed adjustment

I took my EDOX swiss automatic watch to Lukin's to see if they could make it more accurate. The EDOX Grand Ocean has a ETA swiss movement. It came from the factory running 15 to 20 seconds fast over a 24 hour period. It was driving me nuts because every few days I would have to adjust it. Gennadiy Lukin adjusted it while I waited and he got it within 2 to 3 seconds over a 24 hour period. That is entirely acceptable because I didn't want to leave it for for a week or two to get it more accurate. He said it is a very nice watch and his fee was very reasonable. He also said he services ATMOS clocks which I am planning to bring in as my ATMOS perpertual clock stopped working. I highly recommend Lukin's!

The service was efficient, quality and worth the value. They take of your watch and truly care about watches in general. I bought a 1995 Rolex Explorer 1 16570 and was told it was serviced but when I brought to the shop to be double checked, it did not pass the pressure testing. I went ahead and gave them my watch to be checked out and replace the gasket on Friday and by Monday they were done. After their quick service, they explained their work and explained what was wrong with my watch. They were still able to make sure that my watch is now fully waterproof and pass pressure testing. I've been several times and they never disappoint on their service and quality of work.

Brought in a watch that needed links removed, I took it to a few places in my city & nobody could do it. I drove over an hour to a dedicated watch repair shop in Sac & they couldn't do it. I was fortunate enough to find Lukin's not too far away. They were fast, friendly & efficient. The man told me he could do it & I almost didn't believe him because I've been told that a few times with no luck. Well, he did it & did a great job. If I have watch issues in the future I'm making the trip to Lukin's. 6 stars.

My automatic watch was running at -30spd so I figured it was time for a service. Typically I'd send it to the manufacturer, but this time I decided to try an independent shop. I first took it to a different, well-established watchmaker in the area. Without even looking at the watch, he dismissively said that -30spd was normal for an ETA movement, and that a service wasn't necessary. Now I understand it's an entry-level ETA 2824 and I don't need chronometer-level accuracy, but I have another watch with the same movement that runs far better. Unsatisfied, I decided to take it to Lukins where I was met by Vlad. He immediately inspected the watch and put it on a timegrapher - he was friendly, unpretentious, and I could tell, had a passion for watches. I left my watch with them for a few weeks, and upon receiving it back, I'm observing an on-the-wrist accuracy of +/-1 spd; exceeding my expectations. Price was higher than a manufacturer service, but after factoring insured postage to an official service center (in Germany for this brand) Lukins turned out to be cheaper and turnaround was probably 2-3+ months quicker. Highly recommended.

Rebuilt my grandfather's 1950's Omega Seamaster and did a fine job. I recommend them.

Took my omega seamaster in for battery. Waited 20 minutes and was very fairly priced. Will return for more work when needed.

I just relocated to the Sacramento area and since my wife and I have no previous relationships here…read more(buisness or personal) we are in the process of finding a new everything - (dentist, mechanic, dry cleaners etc...) and since we don't know anyone that can give us any recommendations, we are on our own and forced with doing the old trial and error method. This is what I have to say about my experiance at Ray's. Now I know this isn't a deal breaker and its kind of small, but its nice when you are actually welcomed when you walk in the door, I find most places don't even care enough to acknowldedge your there, let alone be able to help you with your problem. I felt very welcomed here from the start and can see they are happy I am there too. They had the right batteries in stock for my watches, then showed me a huge selection of replacement leather bands that I needed, even knew why my Eco Drive watch was no longer charging and were able to repair it right there in house (no wating to send it back to the manufactuer). By the way they were going to do the work right then if I had some time to wait, which usually never happens when I go somewhere no matter if the place is busy or not. I know I am being long winded but its so nice to finally get someone that knows what they are doing and can actually help me, when you are relocating 3000 miles from one coast to the other you end of doing a lot of buisness transactions. Many places stood out but not for the reasons you want. Ray's made an impression on me, and family owned places like this are becoming harder and harder to find, with so many people choosing cheap prices in exchange for absouletly the worst or non exsitent customer service, forget about quality. Ray's is a welcome relief from the way people are use to being treated.....and by the way Ray's prices were the same as the big box stores. They made an effort to remember who I was, that I just moved here and started a new job. If you want to feel like your business, time (pun intended) and money are appreciated and tired of being treated like you are interupting their personal call or text message. Then give Ray's a chance to earn your buisness, you will definatly feel like your needs are being met and you might even leave with a smile. You should feel good about spending your hard earned money....(when is the last time a place made you feel like that)! Thank you Ray's, you have earned my buisness
