Went in for my daughters first haircut and Breeanna was amazing with her. I would definitely go back. My daughter loved her hair.

Ainsley, I think that was her name, did a wonderful job trimming my daughters hair and making her feel comfortable. They let her pick out her chair, what she was watching on tv, gave us a certificate with some of her hair and a picture of her. She was also excited to get a lollipop and a prize! She already wants to go back! My daughter was nervous about the hair dryer, but the stylist made her feel very comfortable and was so great with her! We're all looking forward to her next haircut! Thank you so much!

They open at 9AM on Saturday, I had a 9:40AM appointment, but still had to wait 15 minutes. The time before that my wife had to wait 20 minutes after our appointment time. Yet when a Dad and his kid show up 5 minutes or more after their appointment time, they have the nerve to say that because you were late you will either need to reschedule or be placed on the walk-in list. According to my calculations, the last haircut should have been free (minus the tip) due to the additional 35 minutes of waiting over the last 2 visits. HOW and WHY am I waiting when you opened 40 minutes ago? "That's our policy!" she said. I know the front desk worker is just following what she is told to do, but it may be time to look for another place.

Been here twice now this year. It's where the hubby goes so I thought I'd give it a try (having…read morevisited other Great Clips some time ago). I really needed a haircut and was going to have some color put in my hair (purple). Rather than pay the price for a haircut, too, from the salon stylist, I wanted to save some $ so Great Clips seemed like a good option. I was spoiled and had had a go-to stylist who did my cut and cut - for an AWESOME deal. However, she had some personal problems and I'd lost touch. I had tried one other stylist I connected with through a fundraiser hair package I'd bought - it had a $50 gift card towards her service. She did my color an cut and it looked great - but the sticker shock still has me spinning. $50 off was barely a dent in the bill. Lesson learned - ask for price upfront. So it had been a year since that experience AND my last haircut. I checked in online and drove over knowing the wait would not be long. It was not long at all and I was called up. I had Mary for my cut. I honestly have a very easy cut - long, fine, straight hair. Tapered around my face, leave as much length as possible and I don't care whether it's layered or not - I ask for whatever it seems I had before. Mary took her time and we had a nice chat. I spoke of my plans to throw some purple in my hair. I'm 54 and am already done fighting the grey/whites which are growing in quicker and more evident. I had some prior color jobs auburn once) and highlights which I loved - for about a week or so and then the roots showed. Blond highlights helped hide them but I really prefer darker tones (I'm a brunette). To finish up the cut, Mary was very thorough in making sure I was even between sides and didn't have square/corners - a new one to m. As far as I could tell, she did a great job. It worked fine for how I wore my hair. And the stylist who put the purple in, didn't comment one way or another - so it must have looked good to him. That was trip #1. While I was shocked by the price increase since I was last there - I knew it was still MUCH cheaper than going to a regular salon. I'd be surfing the salons online as I looked for my new stylist and I saw the price range for upscale cuts. So when I went again last week, I thought I had a coupon from FB. I knew it expired end of the month and waited until the last day to go. I had another good cut this 2nd time - different lady and I don't recall her name - much quicker but they were also quite busy. As we went up to the counter, I pulled the coupon on my phone and - IT WAS EXPIRED. Real pisser. Guess I should not have waited until the last day. Regardless, I still saved $ and tipped quite generously. I know I'll be back again in a couple months and hope to keep getting great service and affordable good hair cuts.

What I can say for The Collection itself: it's clean, well maintained, comfortable, modern, bright and pleasant. There's a map right when you walk in with each room number and corresponding name so you know where to go if it's your first time. They do have a kids room that's $5, but I guess it's only open on Saturday I think? It's been a while since I asked. It'd be really convenient if they had weekday hours too, it'd greatly open up my availability to make an appointment. If you want more info on that you'll have to get in touch because it's not on their site and it has been several months since I asked. I come here for Kayla Boals, nailsbykayla32 on instagram. There's booking info on her IG if you're interested. I know it can be hard to find a nail tech but as far as I'm aware, she's still taking new clients. I started seeing Kayla because she offers the Aprés Gel-X nail extensions. They're like acrylic nails, but gel. They last longer on me, look more natural, are more flexible, and much much quicker than building acrylics or gel nails. Also, they're much less damaging on my nails since they don't life the way acrylics do on me. So if those are issues you've had in the past, hit Kayla up! She's super sweet, and has a lot of colors, glitters, and stamps to pick from.

Given the multi-locations and multi-techs it took awhile to book a time that suited me. I did think they are overpriced compared to other nail salons. I had a very pleasant experience in person. I walked in and checked in on the tablet, making it very easy. I used the restroom and saw a coffee/cocktail bar that surprised me a bit. I did get a glass of water at the self-serve desk by the entrance. I sat in a comfortable chair and when my tech was ready, I was seated at her station. Great pedi and I liked Selma who wasn't pressured to make conversation. I'm good with quiet. She put me at a different seat to use the nail dryer. My toes look great. After the pedi and as I was being moved, I accidently knocked my water glass off the side of the chair. It broke and made a mess. They didn't yell at me. I felt bad, but someone quickly arrived with a broom and dustpan. At the check out desk, I was informed I got 25% off as it was my first visit. Yay! I used my giftcard and have $ leftover. They expect cash tips so I put $ in an envelope for Selma. It is a very pretty salon and I would recommend it for a first timer.

I knew her for a few years before booking an appointment. However, despite this, my last experience with her a few years ago was quite unpleasant and it has really bothered me since. I was truly humiliated that particular day by the situation that arose, which wasn't my fault and was completely out of my control. Sadly, she chose to berate and humiliate me even further when I tried to make another appointment with her. Neither party involved meant to put in question her talents as a colorist and stylist, as she just assumed. With that being said, I do wish her the best of luck.

I left the salon with my natural black/dark brown hair all bleached from mid-bottom. I'm not a master colorist but I'm sure that this isn't what a bayalage looked like. 4 months later, I give the same person another try saying I wanted to keep the Bayalage but go lighter for spring, knowing that very dark hair needs a traditional period to get to a honey blonde color. Again I leave the salon with ALL of my hair bleached... there's no other color for depth or anything. At a loss I just let my hair grow out for probably a year before I found Elissa (loft #21), who gave me exactly what I wanted and needed. I finally have my hair color to fit my Fall/winter mood until next Spring. She listens to your wants and has the skills to give you what you expect for hair goals. Her loft is also decorated with all the charm you'd want to see so you can get into your "hair spa" mood. I am only sad that I now have to move out of state, after finding a great colorist/stylist.
