There was a child screaming in the lobby, which I completely understand can happen, but what was frustrating was that even after things settled down, the staff seemed unable to figure out that I had scheduled two children under the same name. It was an unnecessarily complicated check-in process. Denise eventually took Lily back for her haircut. A few minutes later, Areil came out and told us she could not cut Lennox's hair because we were three minutes past their late policy since she said we checked in at 11:08. So to recap: we arrived at 11:05, well within the late window, waited while the staff struggled to check us in, and then after Lily was already being serviced, we were told that Lennox's haircut could not be done because we were now three minutes past the cutoff even though 10 minutes is the cutoff according to the owner and despite the delay being largely due to the check-in process on their end. The inconsistency and lack of common sense were incredibly frustrating. We were not asking for full services, just simple trims, and we were already there and checked in. It's honestly no surprise that Veronica, who we absolutely loved and who always did a great job cutting our kids' hair, is no longer there. We have been loyal customers, but after this experience, we will be taking our business elsewhere. There are plenty of places that can cut my kids' hair while also treating customers with basic courtesy and common sense.
