Sharky's was awesome! Big open doors to welcome you from the sidewalk. A mechanical shark to ride if you dare. Set up with room to move so you don't feel the claustrophobia like you do in most other shops in Seaside. Lots of colors offered in shirts, hoodies, and zip-ups. Two books of designs they offer so you can custom make any design on any shirt of your choosing. Fun, appropriate music keeps the store upbeat. My friend was very specific in what she wanted when we came to Seaside. A purple zip-up hoodie with Seaside printed on front and sleeves. Sharky's was the place to go! She found the shade of purple she wanted and a design she loved in the books. They were able to put it across the front of the zip-up PERFECTLY! Completely aligned, smooth, and straight! Great product! The employees are what really made this place awesome! We were helped by Jamie and he was great. My friend looked through both books twice because she's extremely indecisive and he stayed with us the whole time. He showed no impatience, didn't try to hurry her along by forcing her into something just to get her out the door. He seemed genuinely happy to be there and WANTED to help us. When she made her decision, the manager (forgot his name) was the one who made her shirt. He was funny, professional, efficient, and easy to talk to. We will come here in the future! ----Also, I recommend this place over Freedoms. The people there always seem pretty skeezy and I avoid that shop like the plague. Taking advantage of popular kids toys and price gouging like crazy! This place is way overpriced!

Custom print shop, which is cool. You can get any design on any color or size (with the exception of kids shirts I think? Or perhaps I misunderstood). They have tons of preprinted merchandise, but on-the-spot screen printing is a specialty. Nina was incredibly hello and very very friendly, really appreciated her helping me and explaining everything me when a counter folks just let me walk by, and I never would have understood the deal with this place if she hadn't. Even later when we walked by the same 2-3 employees who ignored us the first time were just standing around; my point is that customer service can be hit or miss. Just hope you get Nina. Hoodies go up to a 5X, crewneck up to 3X, and I think T-shirts to 2X. They also have lots of cheap toys and stuff. The problem is that I asked for a sweater with elements from a different sweater, plus one of the designs they had on the wall. I looked at the sweater when I got home (well, to Eugene, where I'm from and was staying with family), and although all the pieces were there they weren't correct. The big design was on the back instead of the front. The sand dollar that was supposed to be on one arm (as it was on a sweater on the wall) was on the upper front of the sweater. It's fine, but it's not the design I wanted or paid $50 for. I was pretty clear about what I wanted so I'm pretty peeved that they either decided to change it without running it by me or didn't read the instructions correctly. They don't show it to you before you leave and since I had an angst toddler and a mom whose oxygen tank was ticking down with me, it didn't even occur to me to check it since I expected they'd done it properly. So don't be like me and instead, be sure to check their work. read more

My absolute favorite tshirt shop! I had to make a overnite stop because of the ice storm and before I ventured home decided to stop in and wasn't disappointed. I instantly saw this adorable hoodie that I had to have, plus I got three bunches of seaglass that have seashells in them:) Service always friendly and helpful. If you could I would do a zero star review. My daughter picked a stuffed animal up and was playing with it. The employee said she opened it and took a ball out. She couldn't find the ball to prove it. She argued with me. I told her that the customer must be always wrong. She told me no and told us we had to pay for it. My husband went to pay for it and the employee behind the counter told us a different story. He said that she broke the zip tie holding the zipper shut. How did a five year old do that? He couldn't answer, There story didn't add up. They just wanted to make a sale. Well never go back there again read more

Be carful, this place will not stand behind their product. Hoodie at a very high price, but low quality. The day purchased it started coming unstitched and they will not replace. Two days, worn few hours and not good. $50 dollars for junk. We spent a total of $180 in that store. read more

The spot to order shirts is a little crowded and confusing and could use some signage to avoid people standing in line for the register and waiting to design their shirts don't overlap each other, but other then that an awesome store for picking up some seaside merchandise. Customizable T-shirts were 2 for $35 and were made for us in less then 10 minutes. The DJ playing upbeat music really gave the store a party fill. The mechanical shark ride looks like a blast a saw several people attempt staying on but no one lasted more then 20 seconds. Fun store with fun people don't pass it up. read more

What a fun store with a shark ride kept the whole family entertained while shopping. The shark ride was $10 but then you get $5 off your purchase so I felt it was worth it. I think the shark ride made my 7 year olds day, and will remember it forever. The whole family got a custom made Northwest sweatshirt. Love it note they run alittle big but a nice cozy sweatshirt on the coast is worth it! Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is the toy prices were inflated compared to toy shops in the carousel mall. Example a $30 fidget spinner at Sharkeys is $9 down the street. read more

I really wish I could remember the name of the young lady and gentleman who helped us today. We walked into the store and were greeted right away and told what they can do with prints. My husband has a hard time finding sweatshirts that have that perfect fit and the young lady found a couple for him that were perfect. Got his design printed on the sweatshirt, and he decided he wanted a t-shirt too and they happened to have the same print on a hat. These two were awesome to work with and chat with and still were able to help us and work with other customers too. Lots of designs to choose from, different things to print on and great prices. Totally love being able to pick my design and what color/size of apparel for Seaside related gear. The staff was absolutely fantastic. I loved being able to change and customize my shirt at printing. The Shirt selection and choice of prints are pretty typical for what you want and expect to see out of a shop designed like this. They do have a mechanical shark riding thing to make the store fun. My friend signed up and was excited to give it a whirl for $10. Problem was that there was a supposed place where I guess he wasn't supposed to try and hold on because it was foam and could possibly rip. Well, they didn't go over any of that until he was riding on the shark and the employee who came up was acting like a degrading punk stating to ride the shark like a bull rider would and he shook his head at another person "possible employee" like he was irritated with my friend for touching the shark in the wrong spot. To us who were attending this spectacle it really sounded harsh and rude. Well my buddy didn't want to finish the ride because of how the employee belittled him in front of a crowd. Needless to say that we wont be visiting this shop again. There are plenty of other screen printing places to go and shop and not have to deal with rude employees. Open later than most places in the area I think. Shark ride!$10 to ride and my 10 year old got (5?) attempts. The guy working was awesome. I wish I would've gotten his name for proper recognition. Friendly and personable. Loved the music playing in the shop(E-40)My youngest began to have a meltdown so I left before I could buy anything. Prices are on par with tourist attractions. Possibly higher. But I did expect to pay a stupid amount of money for a plastic bucket since I forgot my own.I didn't browse many other places though so I can't be sure.Tons of shirts, hoodies and whatever else you can think of. read more

After the experience we had with the mechanical shark I would not support this business by spending any money there My son wanted to ride the mechanical shark. I paid the fee, 10 dollars, and we waited in line behind another boy of similar age. The boy in front of us rode six times, many of his rides were over 20 seconds. My son got three rides, the longest was 11 seconds. The ride operator, a young man with long dark hair, was neither kind nor encouraging toward my son, who has a Sensory Processing Disorder. I got the impression we didn't fit inside his box and the result was he gave us very sub par service. Won't go back. read more
