The wings are the best in the area. Hands down. The flavors are insane and the wings are larger than Buffalo Wild Wings. They also get points for their truffle fries which are incredible, but much better if you eat at the restaurant vs taking them home. They get soggy during transit. The only seafood item I've tried are the fried shrimp which are solid. I haven't tried any of the shellfish. If I'm getting wings, I'm getting sharkeys. read more

So. This is a combined review of 2 different visits. Ambience - It is your typical neighborhood bar / pub restaurant. Ive been to this location before when it had a different owner. The lighting is a lot better and gives off a cozy vibe. First visit. Both my guest and I had burgers which were really great and cooked perfectly. The shrimp scampi fries were divine. The corn bites soo delicious and creamy. The star was the sauce served with the corn bites. If it is their own sauce Id bottle it. It is that good. 2nd visit - I am a big fan of truffle oil so I ordered the Tuffle parmesan fries. While the fries were delicious, they didnt taste like truffles at all. I was very sad. To be honest, I would take it off the menu completely. You have enough different varieties of fries. Waitress. I waited a total of 39 minutes for my meal. I understand that she was the only waitress and things are tough right now but you certainly wont get more regulars if you ignore new customers. It was clearly obvious that she would rather socialize with her regulars at the bar instead of paying attention to new customers. It was even more obvious when a couple was situated behind me and she was more attentive to them. It is a shame because the food is good. read more

We found Sharky's on Yelp after a tubing trip on the Delaware. It's a local pub with outdoor dining. Feels like a family affair. Friendly service, huge menu, large portions. We enjoyed the meal. The regulars tried to make us welcome even though we were clearly outsiders. They even sent us a round of drinks. Thank you for the hospitality! I'm going to come back for that giant pretzel next time we are tubing. read more

Had a 10 piece boneless wings with one basket with Boom Boom sauce & second basket with Sharky's sauce (hot, parmigiano peppercorn & blackened seasoning). Big pieces of chicken & excellent sauces. Christian and Riley made tonight a pleasure as the two of them worked tirelessly to take care of the busy bar and dining room. Our personal experience was phenomenal they not only kept coming to make sure our drinks were full but gave us plenty of time to figure what we wanted to eat since my son was in from Seattle and we were having dinner they gave us plenty of time after we were done eating to just talk and drink a beer. First time visit on May 29th, Sunday early evening. Sat at the bar and had the oysters....after about 20 minutes they came out (???) we had already finished our beer. Oysters were good! The bartender seemed like she was having a bad day - not a friendly vibe (but the young server seemed pleasant - we should have sat at a table). Next was the most horrific B-B-Q we have ever seen. We have been to Austin, Texas multiple times and KNOW GOOD Q! The ribs were stringy and dry with a weird sauce. We were not given any extra sauce. The bartender never asked how was the food - probably saw that it was awful. The Brisket was sliced thin and BURNT! The worse $26.99 entree I have ever seen. I will add that they were busy and apparently had a computer problem that day. About a half dozen Grub Hub people came in and the bartender was very friendly and responsive to them. We will give them another try, sit at a table, avoid the bar and stick to the wings and raw bar choices - the snow crab legs ordered by the guy at the bar next to us looked good! read more

For the last year or so, I've been thinking about going vegetarian. There's so many meaty things that I've found suitable replacements for. Meatballs? Got it covered. Burgers? No problem. Chicken sandwiches? Bingo. But wings??? There's nothing like tearing apart a chicken wing, and though I've been to places on the west coast that have tried to replicate the flavor and the feeling of tearing meat off the bone, there's nothing that can come close. This Sharky's has the great wings and sauces of the Clifton location, but it's not as packed which is appreciated. There's a few TVs so you can catch whatever ballgame you need. The Hell sauce is no joke, which I appreciated as a bit of a heat-seeker. I've only gone for the wings and some pints of beer, and their beer selection is solid. The day shift bartender gal I've had a few times is fantastic, and the regulars are good conversation. My only ever complaint is that they only give tiny tiny cups of blue cheese, which is rough when you're pushing your heat limits. Definitely recommend a visit! read more

Bar food with some extra seafood options. We live near the Clifton Sharkeys and have never been too impressed. We were pleasantly surprised by our experience here. Tentative wait staff even though they seemed swamped and short staffed, the wait was a little longer but still friendly and prompt when they could be. Favorite food was the red mussels with a flavorful red sauce and garlic bread. My fiancé enjoyed his ribs even though they could have been more tender. The bbq sauce was delish! I got the mahi mahi tacos and the fish was cooked perfectly. I didn't like the pineapple sauce though as it was too sweet. The owner Artie was welcoming and chatted with us for a big. This has become a real "go to" while on our New Jersey vacation. They have outside seating and maintain good service. I particularly like their nachos which are 'built' and heated as a dish so that all the meat, cheese, chips, and jalapeños are cooked and hot. Plus it's a large portion! Strangely enough not all restaurants cook their nachos thoroughly; I hate cold chips with warm chili poured over it! Selection of beer is good. Wings are very good, and I am still working my way through the sauces. Pizza was fresh which means no grease (& no indigestion!). We look forward to returning. read more

We were looking for someplace new to eat, having grown bored of all the local joints (there's only so many times you can eat at Quaker Steak and Lube). We wanted something quick and casual. Food was very good, for bar food. We ordered a large order of wings (Blackened Peppercorn and Honey BBQ flavors), and a basket of curly fries. Our son and I split the chicken cutlet wrap, and our daughter had the kids' cheese quesadilla. Personally I found the Honey BBQ wings to be too heavily sauced but they were quite tasty. My husband said the peppercorn wings were delicious, though not particularly spicy. The curly fries were excellent, but my wrap wasn't anything special. The best part was the beer... Sunday special, we could get a pint of Draft domestic (Yeungliing, Miller Lite, or Coors, I think) for $2.50. Can't beat that price with a stick. All in all it was a great little lunch, very low key and reasonably priced. Our waitress was adorable and really helpful and prompt. She was super understanding since we were a little overwhelmed by the large menu and had a hard time deciding what to get. My only complaint might seem a little silly: when we walked in several patrons at the bar turned around and stared at us. If it were a movie you'd hear the "record scratch" effect in the background! I'm sure they were just nosy old-timer townies, but it made me feel a little unwelcome. Especially since they did it again when we were leaving! I get that Sharky's is a small place (really tiny, actually) but... come on, dudes. We'll definitely be back... I want to try a few different wing sauces, and my husband is excited to try the raw bar! It'd be nice to get some seafood close by and for such reasonable prices. read more

The menu won't disappoint and will get you coming back again and again. One of my favorite wing sauce combinations is hot, Parmesan peppercorn, and blackened.
