We rented through Bundesen Property Management for one year. While the property itself was great,…read moreour experience with the management company was frustrating. Interactions with the property owners which were always included Bundesen's Sandy Curtis, often left us feeling like very minor issues were treated as major problems. At move-out, (after a 4 hour cleaning by a team of 3 professional cleaners) the property owners emailed us an extensive list of items, including a a laundry list of issues that blatantly fell under ordinary wear and tear after two years of normal occupancy. As tenants, we expected a more balanced and practical approach--and we thought Bundesen should have worked to aid the property owners in their expectations and communication. We always paid our rent on time, took good care of the home, and made every effort to leave the property in excellent condition. Unfortunately, our overall experience was that the management style created unnecessary stress throughout the rental process. We hope Bundesen will consider taking a more customer-focused and reasonable approach with future tenants.

I had two issues with Old Republic when buying a large (95 acre) piece of land:…read more 1) Bill, the title search person, was unable to clarify where the easements were located, all he could do was read the easement verbiage. This is completely unhelpful as I too can read. I had to get out the county parcel map plus a regular map and do my own research. I paid good money and received zero useful information 2) Getting the closing costs correct was a multi day affair requiring me to send emails with action items and due dates. I am sure the mortgage broker was part of the problem and yet the escrow officer was equally a problem. I would not recommend the petaluma branch of old republic title
