Chris was very responsive, and when he arrived, he saw the scope of the job was much more complex than originally planned.... Upon removing the microwave, he discovered that our kitchen contractor had negligently set up our kitchen venting into our attic, a major fire hazard. Chris took things step by step. He got into our attic, and hooked everything up safely, as it should be, to our roof vent. He also properly secured the new hood, with a clean stainless steel backsplash. Chris returned my message very quickly. The work was not an emergency, but he set up an appointment that same week. I had a bathroom fixture that went out. It had been put in by someone else. Chris determined the work had been substandard and was in fact a fire hazard. He had all the materials and tools to repair the connections and bring them up to code. Chris has done a lot of work for my husband and me - remodeled our kitchen, built a pantry, installed a pocket door, replaced all the interior doors in our house, and numerous other projects over a period of about 10 years. While working on the kitchen he made sure we had a working sink every night and, when he could, a working stove and he cleaned up the work area every night! Amazing! When you are not sure what you want or what would work best Chris will have a suggestion that, more often than not, is just the right thing. He really does care and gives careful thought to every project. He has pride of workmanship. Truthfully, he doesn't want his name connected to anything he can't be proud of.
