There are those major life events where stress is automatically built into them. Selling a home is definitely on that list. We had a go at that in early 2019, and with no luck we eventually pulled our home off the market. At that time, Yoko Kasai was our agent. Recently we needed to sell a large rental property that we have owned for 15 years. The house is very nice but needed quite a bit of work to get it to a point where we could ask top dollar.
