Her responses were filled with confusing jargon that didn't match standard unit conversions or my actual experience. When I asked for clarification, the conversation was dismissed instead of resolved. For a $200 difference, I was surprised by the lack of transparency and the unwillingness to address the issue. I'm sharing our correspondence so others can see the interaction for themselves. Our correspondence after many failed attempts! Her response was not correct, a confusing bunch of jargon and then she dismissed me after my response! Hi Christina, I want to clarify my concern one last time. Ten days before this appointment, I had a full Botox treatment elsewhere. At your office, I only received a very small touch‑up: a bit above my brows, a small amount in the DAO area, and a tiny amount above my lip. This was not a full forehead or full‑area treatment. Your injector specifically told me she used 1 unit of Dysport on each side of my top lip, and when I asked about the conversion and pricing, the explanation I received didn't make sense. Now that I see the lack of results -- and considering I also had swelling in one eye afterward -- I do not believe I received anything close to the Botox‑equivalent of 24 units. It feels consistent with 24 units of Dysport total, not 72 units. I also want to mention that during the visit, I asked about options for skin tightening and wrinkle reduction and explained that I have rosacea. I was told that CO resurfacing would be good for me, even though that type of treatment is generally contraindicated for rosacea and can worsen redness and sensitivity. I was also encouraged toward hormone pellets after mentioning I take hormones, which felt like unnecessary upselling. Overall, the experience came across as high‑pressure rather than patient‑focused. I'm not going to continue going back and forth. I'm simply asking for fair billing based on the actual amount injected. A $200 reimbursement would resolve this. If not, I will leave an honest review and move on. Best, Her only email before the response you just read. Then I was dismissed.... Ghosted.. Thank you for reaching out and for sharing your concerns. We completely understand that pricing for injectable treatments can sometimes be confusing, especially when comparing Dysport and Botox. Dysport and Botox are both neuromodulators, but they are measured using different unit scales. Dysport units are not equivalent to Botox units. In clinical practice, approximately 2.5-3 units of Dysport provide a similar effect to 1 unit of Botox. To keep pricing straightforward and consistent for our clients, our office structures Dysport pricing so that the treatment cost is comparable to Botox for the same aesthetic outcome. We use a 3:1 approach. For example, what may be normally be documented as 72 units of Dysport corresponds roughly to about 24 units of Botox in clinical effect and we call 24 units of Dysport in our office. For reference, the manufacturer's (Galderma) recommended dosing for Dysport in FDA-approved areas includes: * Glabellar lines (frown lines between the brows): 50 units total (administered across 5 injection points) * Lateral canthal lines (crow's feet): 30 units per side (60 units total) Actual dosing may vary based on muscle strength, anatomy, and desired results, which is why your treatment plan is customized during consultation. Our goal is always to deliver safe, natural-looking results while maintaining transparent and consistent pricing. I was then asked to change into a towel wrap, showed where to put my stuff and then asked to get onto the facial bed. The initial appointment took about 2 hours from walking in the door to getting back into my car. I appreciated that Lauren took her time. I also liked that she wasn't too chatty during the facial itself. Whenever I'd ask her a question she'd answer and add some good tips. Ultimately, I really wanted to relax to enjoy the experience. I ended up purchasing some Sanitas Skincare items she recommended. Then we made my appointment for 6 weeks out. I'm trusting with Lauren's help and following her lead with the products I'll now use on my face I'll have the results I've been hoping for! I'm all in and excited to try Lauren's method. I had already made my deposit and followed every instruction given to me beforehand. When I arrived, however, I was told they would not honor the discount I had been quoted because there were "no notes in my file." Instead of taking responsibility for what was clearly an internal communication issue, I was told I was lying. Whether or not someone documented something properly is not the client's fault. I did everything I was asked to do. I even told them it was fine and that I would pay the higher price just to move forward with the appointment. Despite that, the staff continued to question me and speak to me in a way that felt accusatory and demeaning. The entire interaction was unprofessional and unnecessarily hostile. I was made to feel embarrassed and foolish for something completely out of my control. I ultimately left in tears. I would strongly encourage this business to work on communication, professionalism, and how they speak to clients. No one deserves to be treated this way.

I arrived 15 minutes early for my appointment at NakedMD in Temecula, checked in, As I sat in the waiting room I couldn't help but overhear the front desk staff openly discussing another patient who had called with concerns about a procedure. Hearing staff discuss another patient's situation in the reception area immediately struck me as unprofessional and made me question the level of discretion and privacy patients receive. After being placed in the room, I continued waiting well past my scheduled appointment time with absolutely no communication from the staff. No one came in to apologize for the delay or let me know they were running behind. Once I was about 15 minutes past my appointment time, I decided I was going to leave. Only then did someone come into the room. I explained that my frustration wasn't simply about waiting--it was the complete lack of communication. My time is just as valuable as theirs. Had someone simply told me they were running behind, I could have made an informed decision to wait or reschedule. Instead, I was left sitting there wondering what was going on. The response I received was simply, "We'll get you going now," and I was handed a phone so someone on a video call could complete my intake and medical history. As a first-time patient who was already nervous about my appointment, this felt incredibly impersonal. Instead of meeting with someone in person, I was expected to discuss my medical history with a stranger on a screen while another staff member stood in the room. At that point, I realized this simply wasn't the experience I was looking for. I politely explained that this level of care felt impersonal and that this wasn't the right clinic for me. I left feeling confused, frustrated, and honestly disappointed. Whatever happened to making patients feel welcomed, valued, and cared for--especially during a first visit? The irony is that if I had arrived 15 minutes late, I'm confident I either would not have been seen or would have been charged a late or missed appointment fee. Yet when the office was running behind, there was no courtesy of communicating that to me or acknowledging that my time mattered as well. First impressions matter, especially in aesthetics where trust and patient comfort are everything. Unfortunately, this experience fell far short of the level of professionalism and personalized care I was expecting.

This was inspiring so I looked more into her services and experience (18 years to be exact). This is almost unheard of nowadays and my first experience certainly reflected a high level of quality and professionalism. Michelle was warm, welcoming, and she took her time doing a Q&A to better understand my skin type and what I was in need of. I booked a dermaplaning and facial with her. This was my first time doing a dermaplaning on my face and Michelle eased my anxieties by walking me through the process and advising me on what to expect the following days. She tailored my facial specifically to me and did what she was confident my skin could tolerate. Of course I was GLOWING afterwards & so relaxed Michelle was so kind to send me home with a goodie bag of products to try & repair my skin barrier. Her studio is spacious, clean and decorated so beautifully. She made me excited to work on the things my skin needs in between now and my next appointment. So grateful to have found her clinic!!
