He knew immediately pricing, appointment times, delivery policy etc. I found this to not be true of some other companies. For example, upon calling some of the others the person answering the telephone did not have current prices or know their companies policy on minimum delivery amount etc. They had to have someone call me back. Weird and very annoying. Who has time for that. So I appreciated Town & Country's quick and friendly response. I just received my delivery yesterday. The delivery person was quick and left my bill and a small gift of a nice mug and magnet and company info at the door. Very nice touch! Will use this company again in the future I am sure.

Nothing on the website or advertisement stated cash only. The total for two tanks was $40. I happen to have $39 in my wallet. He told me I would have to come back. I ended up getting one tank filled but regretted it the whole ride home thinking why did I give them any of my money? not just because they wouldn't let me off for one dollar out of 40 but waiting any more than a minute when there's no other customers there and then the guys on the phone the whole time just left a bad taste in my mouth. I am submitting this complaint to document serious issues with communication, reliability, and…read moreservice from Penny-wise Fuel Inc., located at 219 Shine Hill Rd, Henryville, PA 18332. I placed an order for heating oil with Penny-wise Fuel Inc. that has already been paid for through a government assistance program. Despite payment being issued, delivery was not completed. I was later informed that the driver could not make the delivery because my driveway was allegedly not cleared. This statement is inaccurate. The driveway was fully accessible, and no attempt was made to contact me at the time to address or resolve any concern. Since that missed delivery, my household has now been without heat for four days. During this time, I have repeatedly contacted Penny-wise Fuel Inc., explained the urgency of the situation, and made them aware that there are four young children living in the home. On multiple occasions, I was assured that delivery would occur "the next day." Despite these assurances, no delivery has been made, and there has been no proactive follow-up, no clear explanation, and no meaningful communication. At a minimum, I would expect timely and honest communication--especially when an essential service such as home heating is involved and payment has already been made. Instead, I have experienced broken promises, inaccurate claims, and inaction, which has caused significant stress and hardship for my household. I am requesting that this matter be addressed immediately, either by completing the prepaid delivery without further delay or by providing clear, honest communication regarding why the service cannot be fulfilled. I am submitting this complaint so that appropriate action can be taken and so others are aware of the service issues I have experienced.
