We need new trees planted because what they planted died, but we have not been able to get anyone to come out and do anything for us. We have sent numerous emails, called the store, even went into the store- they claimed they couldn't replace our trees because they didn't have our original design order on file. What?? It's been over 4 months with absolutely no follow-up from them. I would recommend finding someone else. We are contacting Arredondo Landscaping for our service from now on. For what we spent with them we expect top service and we got nothing.

We would like to say that Scotty did a great job with design of the landscaping, and we are very…read morepleased with that. Unfortunately, our experience with your landscaping company was far from satisfactory. We were deeply disappointed with the overall experience and the quality of the landscaping work done at our home. To start with, the project began late (3 days), and there was no clear communication about the reason for the delay or when the crew would start. If we had not reached out on a regular basis, we wouldn't have been aware of the delays. This lack of communication set a poor tone for the entire project. As the work progressed, several issues emerged - * A section of the design was completely missed (the center island), and we had to point it out and show the original plan that we had agreed on. This was discovered on one of the last days of the job. * The patio floor, built with pavers, was installed on top of a sprinkler head, leading to flooding underneath it, and the floor sinking. They sent someone out to repair it. * While the crew was installing sod, an electrical cord was severed for one of the new cannister lights. We only discovered the issue when the light didn't work. They sent someone out to find the problem and fix it, which he did, with the wire nuts we provided. * The sod placement was rushed the very last afternoon (thus the cut electrical cord), and there are lots of gaps between the sod sections that we hope will grow in. * One of the main requests we had during the original walk through for the job was to have the gutter downspout hidden and diverted away from the driveway (under ground). As the project was happening, I mentioned it to the designer, and we were charged extra for it because it never got included in the original quote, although it was in his notes. It felt like we paid for the company's internal miscommunication ($500). * During the walk through we were told we could save some on the decorative stone and reuse it, because it was a type that was tough to get. We agreed whole heartedly. We discussed that we would probably have to add "some additional" stone to fill in what the old stone couldn't cover. We understood that and expected some additional costs. The new stones needed were $1,300 worth, and we didn't know it until the final invoice was completed. * Upon completion of the job, and after the crew had left, we had to pick up the trash that was left behind in our yard, including wrappers from materials, plastic cups, and stone and sand within the original lawn. The original lawn took some serious abuse in the front yard, because of equipment movement, and we are hoping it survives (only time will tell). * While on site, it seemed like there was a lot of down time as guys waited for materials. Overall, the lack of communication, construction errors, and unexpected additional costs made this a frustrating experience. With all of the issues we experienced with this project, we never once heard from management or the owner to discuss how bad things went. In the end, with all the issues, we still ended up paying $3,000 more than the original quote. I urge others to be cautious and ensure they receive clear communication and detailed estimates before moving forward with any projects. The estimate provided did not include any specific details of what was going to be completed, it was basically a consumables list. In hind sight, we should have asked for more detail to ensure everything was included, or what was not. Lesson learned that we certainly want to pass on to others.

The company offered a 100% one-year guarantee with no restrictions, which gave us peace of mind. We followed all the watering instructions exactly, which ended up costing us more in water bills than the sod itself. Still, we were committed to keeping it healthy. Unfortunately, within just 30 days, four separate areas of the new sod began to die. We contacted the company, and Eva came out to assess. Her suggestion was to "let it go" and that the grass would eventually fill in. That never happened. Since then, my mother has called Eva repeatedly over the last nine months. Eva often said she'd stop by, but rarely followed through. On the rare occasion she did, she offered vague promises--like bringing in a professional to test our soil--which never materialized. That was over two weeks ago, and we haven't heard from her since. To be clear, my yard is beautiful overall, and the majority of the grass looks great. But those four patches have been dead since the first month, and the company has consistently failed to follow up or stand by their guarantee. I understand that sometimes sod doesn't take--that happens. But the lack of accountability, poor communication, and dismissive attitude from Brothers and Sons Landscaping is what's unacceptable. If customer service matters to you, I suggest looking elsewhere.

Juan and team are excellent. They do a great job. Always seem to do a little more than asked.read more
