They quickly responded and gave us an estimate that we accepted. We were told they would contact us at least a day ahead of the work being done. Randomly about a week later a crew showed up on a day we were going to be gone. No warning. They started working and we started to leave. The supervisor flags us down and asks for payment in full. We explained that we did not have the payment yet as it had not been transferred into the account we were paying them with. He firmly stated that they needed payment right then. The job was just started, we were not contacted that they were coming that day. My husband ran back in the house to write a check and asked them not to cash it until the next week. They agreed. The job was supposed to be completed that day. When we got home later that evening we noticed there were several things that had not been completed. In the meantime our check did clear. What followed was 2 weeks of bad communication and promises broken. They would say they would be at our house at a certain time and day and then not show up, and not text or call with a reason. We always had to call them. Finally my husband got pretty direct with the owner and told him how disappointed we were with the situation and that he just wanted the job completed. He was gaslighted a bit by the owner. The next day the owner finally completed the work. For this we appreciate that he finally honored his word. This company touts their faith as the backbone of their business. The landscape stonework was done very nicely. Unfortunately, 3 of the 7 bushes they planted died. We are just happy to be done with the situation and suggest to the owner and his supervisor's to just communicate with their future customers. That is pretty easy in a time of texting and cell phone technology.

Cleared the old grass and made sure to not harm the irrigation. Spread a nice layer of the topsoil before putting down the new sod. Cut out openings for the irrigation heads and tested all before they departed. Overall I would highly recommend and hire again.

I explained we would put a sign up near the plant as reminder. I was told "Great , our guys love signs" The spray guy came and as we were walking by the window, we saw him spray all around the plant. We went outside and asked him why and at first he said he didnt see the sign but when he realized this was impossible he changed his story that he didnt spray near the plant. I w obviously untrue as the whole are was wet with spray. He then used some foul language. We asked him to leave but he returned 3 more times. We called the company and the owner became very aggressive stating we were at fault for not be clear enough in our instructions. The large sigh with a large yellow caution sigh stated " Dear Fernview, please do not spray around this plant" It could not have been more clear. She kept arguing to the point i had to tell her i was done with the conversation but yet emailed me again to state how it was our fault. I called over a month ago,…read moreexplained my situation, and was told no problem -- booked an appointment for a Tuesday between 2-4pm. At 3:30 no one had shown up and no one called. When I reached out, a woman answered from a personal vehicle with a child in the background and apologized saying they were busy. Rescheduled for Thursday, then pushed to Friday when I would actually be on site. Friday morning I called and texted to confirm. Was told staff was 6 minutes away. They arrived 90 minutes later -- two full-size trucks with trailers. Despite the trailers, they had no stock to perform a simple repair. The job: one frozen sprinkler head needed replacement. Their recommendation: replace all heads and all valves for $2,900. The valves are all working fine. When I questioned it, they said they couldn't do the work for a couple of weeks anyway as they'd need to order parts. I was never told there was a $95 diagnostic fee when I booked. I paid it in cash for 10 minutes of work and a recommendation to replace equipment that doesn't need replacing. As a remote homeowner I depend on honest, reliable contractors. This company failed on both counts.
