I needed 2 shears sharpened quickly and was originally told it would take 1-2 days. I left the shears and voila was called same day to pick them up!. I wasn't able to return same day, but picked them up the following day, clean and very sharp. I've been to the Sharp Shop many years ago, but due to dogs passing on, have not needed to do any trimming until just recently. DO NOT GO ANYWHERE ELSE! Barber supply and repair shop with an amazing owner. I walked in 20min before close because my T-Outliner was giving me issues. Roy took a quick look at it, saw the issue, and was able to fix it in 5min. The repair was simple, so he told me "no charge". That's the kind of service you don't find anymore. I tried to tip him and he refused. I didn't wanna go back and forth insisting with this man that was legitimately smiling and happy to provide a service to someone that needed it and would likely come back in the future, so I decided to just leave this review. I won't go anywhere else and if I'm gonna buy any barber supplies in the future, I'll check with Roy first before going online. I try to avoid this place much as possible although when needed i never stall out. This visit was like most I'd messed up my andi liners and needed a new blade. Only this time instead of leaving and picking up another day they were able to get me in & out in no time.. not to forget some good convo while waiting which made me reminisce on my grandparents . I requested liners sharp enough to cut my skin... got home to use and guess what they did bruise my skin .. just as I like it!! Talk about hidden gem comes to sharpening shop for cutlery or barber shop. I received gift card to The Sharp Shop as birthday gift. It never been strength sharpening my knives either on wet stone or tri stone. I usually take knives to shop get sharpened. I was excited about trying new shop. Roy the owner does amazing work. Most places one of my biggest problems see is they over grind the blade. Not at The Sharp Shop. All four of my knives had the perfect edge, sharp, and been holding it edge perfection at work. The knowledge Roy has about knives was impressive. We had this amazing conversation about German vs Japanese made knives, current knives, process sharpening knives, and learned lot. Not only knives but barber shop side that while another conversation and knowledge just as impressive. It family run business. Most part the whole family works at the shop. Everyone is really nice, genuine, honest, and nothing but positive vibes. Smiles. The shop itself talk about lot of product in the shop. Really comes to barber shop needs they more then likely have it. Unfortunately they don't sell any cutlery knives. I will definitely be back to The Sharp Shop for all my future knives sharpening. Zero stars if I could!! DO NOT BRING YOUR GROOMING BLADES here. I had 9 blades to be sharpened by Roy and when I tried to use them at work, none of them are sharpened. They still snag on the hair. I went back to have them resharpened again and he said "they should work" and i asked if they don't, can i get a refund and he said "No". Then he started to imply that I'm making it up that the blades aren't cutting. Sir, why would I make it up and drive 30 minutes to your shop with a toddler to save a few bucks. My husband is a software engineer and I'm a mobile groomer. I have the option to not work. You are actually the scammer! Scammed me out of $83! Poor customer service. I will never return. read more

Pretty no utterly disappointing that 1. I called 30 minutes before I arrived here to verify if they sharpen knives and to ask what is the latest time I can bring in my knives. She said well we close at 5:30. I said ok I'll be there. I get there and the gentleman let's me know you won't get your knives back until next week. Ok that's fine but these are my chef knives so I'd have nothing for prepping meals. Why would I not be given this advice prior to driving 30 minutes from my home in the hills. I don't care where the gentleman who owns the place drives from. He works there and or owns the place. And he even said I don't know another person in town who sharpens them like me. He's a great sharpener and they have probably everything a barber needs however if your larger order prohibits you from doing something that would normally take 30 min max then why not give your clients a heads up. He had no solution or anything just to keep his business. Do you know a good sharpener I can get? He said yea me ... Duh I get it you're the best Edward scissor hands however I'm going to go out on a limb and suggest you may be a control freak that why you don't have anyone else sharpening knives etc. teach someone else to do it as well read more

I took three pair of good dressmaking scissors, including one tiny pair, on Wednesday and they were ready on Thursday afternoon. They ruined my scissors. The tip is now duo with only having them for 2 weeks. I called to see if I could get them fixed and the guy had an attitude problem, and hung up on me. I do not recommend getting your shears sharpened here. He tried to blame my scissors for getting dull. I used them daily for a year before this and they cut just fine. I went in today with my baby and teenager. I was doing my laundry next door. The store was easy to navigate with a stroller thank God and their products were top quality at a great price. My son really took a liking to their decorated hair trimming scissors. The lovely middle aged lady behind the counter was so kind and went out of her way to assist us with what we needed. I feel sorry I didn't get her name because she was beyond helpful. I would greatly recommend this shop to others. Also I saw there was a customer in front of us who said she didn't like the way her purchased hair clippers were working for her and the other sales associate bent over backward to get her the ones she wanted and even supplied her with more than she had asked for. Terrible place to get ur clippers fixed. I asked for my cord to be replaced, and the guy replaced it and all, but it stopped working properly. Roy who replaced my cord still charges me for the cord, and ignores the fact that I was dissatisfied the he'd broke my clipper. He is just concerned about getting your guys money, and less concerned on the barbers tools. Way to go guys read more

I brought in three Andis XL five speed to sharp shop. They have been sitting in my drawer for a while. I tried changing blade drives cleaning them out very well. Everything I could think of to fix them on my own. I finally gave up. I decided to bring them in to Sharp shop and get them repaired. I picked them up today and each one of them ran like it was a brand new clipper. I'm not sure what was wrong with each one. But obviously they knew. I was almost ready to buy another clipper. Brought my dad's old Wahls in here for a cleanup and maintenance. They did a great job. Clippers work like new. Highly recommend.

I brought my clippers here to get a new cord, and they were very nice, and installed the cord for me. A couple weeks later, I brought in some of my shears, and they worked great after having them sharpened. However, a couple weeks ago I brought in my dull blades to have them sharpened. I went to use my blades after picking them up, and none of them worked. They snag and pull at the dog's coat, and do not cut the hair at all. I brought my dulls blades in so that I could do my job as a dog groomer properly. And now I can not do my job at all. I attempted to contact the Sharp Shop multiple times, and even during their operating hours, they did not answer their phone nor did they return my any of my voicemail's. I had multiple blades sharpened and spent over $100 for this service alone. I now have to invest in a whole new set of blades, after wasting my money to have this set 'fixed.' Do NOT bring your blades here for sharpening. read more
