D and N Towing was called to the scene and the driver was speeding on the left shoulder when he struck my car and another vehicle. They clipped my side view mirror and tore off the rear quarter panel on the other vehicle. After sending the damage report and pictures to the company and repeated phone calls, some lady answers the phone today and says "we are not responsible for the damage to your car" and hangs up. We went this morning to the local dodge dealership since we have a dodge eco-diesel and they told us they can't do anything for use since it's from Canada and out of basic warranty. We drove to multiple places that ended up being closed and got referred to upper lakes tire. Thank goodness! Brian was beyond helpful! Even though he said he didn't do much with diagnosing, he came out and ran the codes for us. This is a common problem so he was able to clear the code for us so we can get home and get it back to the dealer who gave us the warranty. To top it off, he didn't even charge us! My brother suggested this place and when I called they said they could get the tires and install them that day (even though it was Christmas Eve if I remember correctly) - AWESOME! I took my car in and they completed the work promptly. I was happy with everything. Fast forward about 6 months and I was due for routine maintenance at the dealership (Lexus). Shortly after I dropped it off, they called to ask if I'd recently gotten new tires. I informed them that I had and they told me that whomever had installed them had broken the hub lock. They gave me the broken piece when I came to pick up my car and it was covered in rust where it was broken, so I believe that they (Lexus dealership) didn't break it themselves and try to pass it off as someone else's mistake. Anyway, it cost me $160 to replace it! Also, they told me that I'm lucky I didn't get a flat while I was driving because neither I or the tow truck guy would have been able to remove the tire due to the broken part. Giving 2 stars because they WERE able to accommodate me during the holidays and I appreciate that. However, to let me drive off knowing (they knew...) they'd broken that part is AWFUL. I could have been stranded! I totally understand that mistakes happen, such is life. But to not fess-up and make it right? Sorry, but that's just bad business.

Had a car deer accident on M-65 where there was no cell phone coverage. Still had SOS service on…read morethe phone so I was able to call the 911 non emergency line to get a police report for the insurance company because a claim would need to be filed. Unfortunately since I had no cell phone service I couldn't call our insurance, so they could send a tow company of their choosing. 911 was gracious enough to contact Prell upon our behalf. Prell took advantage of this and charged a fee to our insurance company of $550 for a "911 accident callout fee" charge simply because 911 dispatched them out. Even though I explained to Prell that it wasn't a 911 call, and not a accident, they were just doing us a favor. Prell's response was " oh don't worry, it's $0 out of pocket, we will write up an estimate and charge insurance... Prell is just price gouging the insurance based off their own policy, and if your insurance doesn't cover it, you foot the bill! Use a different towing company that won't charge you that!

Wednesday around 2 in the afternoon, I called and Jill answered the phone. When I asked when they were coming to clean it up she replied "I don't know anything about that, I'll talk to the driver and call you back" and she hung up on me. I called back a couple hours later and was told by Jill "I still haven't heard from the driver" and she hung up on me again. I called again at 10AM on THURSDAY and Jill answered and very rudely said "the driver will be out today to clean it up" then she hung up on me again. The driver showed up a few hours later, he swept the oil dry that he left there on Tuesday and then threw another bag down, told my husband he would be back later with degreaser and he never showed back up. We spent all day Saturday cleaning up the driveway from the mess they had left 5 days prior. Don't waste your time calling these people. Jill is so awful and rude, the truck driver is a liar. All around this company is very shady and not honest. As far as towing, the driver was about an hour later than what they were supposed to be.
