And the folks there have been nothing but friendly and courteous during my appointments. But this last visit was one of the worst dental visits I have ever experienced in my almost 60 years on God's green earth. I went in to get a crown. After the doctor had "numbed" me up, he began working on me and whatever he used did not do the job. The procedure was causing me pain. So I let him know, and he administered more anesthesia. However, that didn't help. I could still feel the work he was doing, and it was causing me a lot of discomfort. I decided just to grind through it and get it over with. Unfortunately, at one point he got me so bad I yelled out in pain. I was stunned at Dr Crummett's reaction. He got angry. I am the one who just got hurt, and he's the one fuming about it. No apology, just a furrowed brow. Soon after my appointment, I began experiencing pain in the tooth he worked on. Just couldn't bring myself to go back. That last visit was brutal. So scheduled a visit with my wife's dentist. I'd suggest looking elsewhere if you are in need of a dentist. It might be time for the dentist to call it a career.

Following with Christy or one of the hygienists. Who will evaluate you again there's no nonsense in between. You won't be sitting there when they say they'll be right back that's exactly what they mean. Dr Lee will then finish the procedure looking at x-rays speaking to the hygienist. Dr Lee is the ultimate professional. I had a cavity on my last visit so he had to numb me using the needle which I always dread. Yet I hardly feel it then he comes back in and finishes the procedure. From the time I arrived at the office to when I left was maybe 20-25 minutes. It's so important to me not to be left waiting in the lobby and then left in a room unattended for another 20-30 minutes as this has often happened to me and other dentistry. Never has it happened with Dr Lee's office. If I have to come back they'll let me know and schedule an appointment in the very near future. And the results are always outstanding. Stay away from this dental practice. They discriminate against patients who do not speak English as…read moretheir first language. I called to schedule an appointment for a family member, explained to them that I would be translating for the appointment. They said it was okay and did not even ask what language. They called about a week before to confirm the appointment and when the topic of having me interpret for the appointment came up they told me I couldn't. When I asked if they could instead offer an interpreter service they said no and that they don't have those services. They automatically assumed that we needed Spanish and said someone in their office speaks Spanish but only on Thursdays. I explained that Spanish is not our language, and asked once again since they are refusing to let me translate, if they could provide someone to translate. They said no, and that they wouldn't be able to proceed. I tried to explain that healthcare providers are required to provide interpreters under Section 1557 of the Affordable Care Act and ADA. They claimed they weren't aware of such laws. The office manager name is Kasey and she was so un empathetic of the situation. As a healthcare professional myself, I always provide services to any and all patients regardless of their language and gladly offer language services. It's a basic right, which clearly this practice does not understand. Will be reporting to the Dental Board.

But I bit the bullet (see what I did there) and took a chance on this dentist. Now I have always felt like dentists will always find something and sure enough they did but it was work I know I needed and so proceeded to have it all done. I can honestly say that this is the only dentist in my 40+ years that actually does what needs to be done but doesn't try to have you pay for things you don't need. The procedures were painless and overall I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Every single staff member I have met has been awesome and genuinely caring and I now have my kids go here because I have so much faith in them. One of my daughters is special needs and can be tough at times but Dr Heinzen is brilliant with her and makes it so when I tell either of them they have an appt they don't get scared and don't put up any kind of resistance. I was stood up and the entire staff was standing around talking because they had canceled all of their appointments as the "stand in" dentist didn't come in that day. I rescheduled and went back and was told that the premium insurance I have always used there was no longer accepted in fact they stated they were "out of network on all insurance" and that I had to pay cash up front before being seen. This is an indication of something has gone wrong with this office, so I canceled and am billed $100. Glad to pay and will never go back. I do not recommend this business.

I have seen Dr. Wilson both with dental insurance and without. When you have insurance, he is obligated by contract to charge your copay. If yu pay cash (not debit or credit card) he (as of 06/26/20) offers a cash discount. His relationship with his staff is priceless (code for funny and special) and he gets away with stuff I am sure other employers wouldn't but he has truly happy staff. And as far as I am concerned, he has happy patients as well. I would also like to add that Dr. Wilson doesn't shy away from difficult cases. I have periodontal issues which required a referral to Dr. Blasengame, and I am in ortho with Dr. Shoff. Doing a crown prep on a patient in braces is challenging at best and Dr. Wilson has never once shied away or made me feel like the particulars of my case made his life difficult (which I know they have!). Also, Dr. Wilson has pointed out that because of my teeth being crowded and twisted, it is much more difficult for me to keep them clean until I am out of braces. Dr. Wilson has NEVER ONCE made me feel bad for the challenges I have or the condition of my smile. I can't say the same for previous dentists. I was referred here by another dental provider a month ago for an extraction. After waiting for a…read morecall from them, I called and found out they were given the wrong phone number. Not to worry though, they were able to get me scheduled to be seen in less than a week. As luck would have it, they had a cancellation and called and got me in the next day. The office is clean and has a great view of the river, and they offer cold beverages while you wait. In addition, they use nitrous on request, which I have been given since childhood. Dr. Suarez was very kind and took time to make sure I was adequately numbed before he removed my molar. I was given verbal and printed after care. They exceeded my expectations in every way.
