However, since I live in Aventura, I decided to give RH Hair Salon a try. The salon is marketed as a high-end establishment with predominantly good reviews, and I hoped to avoid the long drive to Coral Gables and the heavy traffic. When I called to make my appointment, I specifically asked whether the salon had experienced colorists who specialize in blonde hair. The receptionist assured me that they did, which was an important factor in my decision to book the appointment. Unfortunately, the experience started poorly. The music was blasting so loudly that it was extremely difficult to have a conversation with the stylist. The manager briefly stopped by and explained that this was the "RH Vibe" and, instead of addressing the excessive noise, offered champagne and lowered the music just a tiny bit. Because of the noise, I ultimately showed the stylist the blonde color I already had in my own hair and explained that I simply wanted the grown-out areas highlighted to match. She confirmed that she could perform the requested service. I understand that highlighting my hair can take several hours, as it has always been a lengthy process for me. However, after approximately six hours, the salon was getting ready to close. At that point, the cashier came over and asked me to pay because she was closing the register. This was a BIG mistake on my part, because I had not even seen the final result of the service. I paid $480 for what was supposed to be half a head of blonde highlights. At my usual salons in Coral Gables, I have never been asked to pay before the service was completely finished and I had seen the final result. Unfortunately, what I ended up with was nothing like what I had requested. Instead of blonde highlights, my hair was left with an unattractive brown color. There was a significant amount of bleach used, yet the result was still brown rather than blonde, and there were essentially no proper blonde highlights. I specifically chose this salon because I was told they had experienced blonde colorists, and I paid $480 expecting a professional, high-end result. The outcome was extremely disappointing and far from what I requested. Based on this experience, I will definitely be returning to the professionals I trust in Coral Gables.

Angie was extremely welcoming and came through for me with a quick, easy and let me stress on a beautifully soft blowout using only organic products. She really paid attention to the little details, which I personally appreciate. I loved the vibe so much that I returned for a mani-pedi, and honestly, it was even better. I've had pedi needs before that made things uncomfortable, but not here -- my hands and feet were treated with real care and skill. Plus, they do hair Botox with organic products that won't damage or ruin your hair, so I'll definitely be back with pics to show the fabulous results. It's become my go-to spot for amazing blowouts and nails. The location's perfect -- right in the heart of North Miami next to City Hall with plenty of parking. My hair was making me miserable - it was flat, looked oily, dull, etc. So I had decided to chop it all off and mentioned on the phone that I might want some color to which she said no problem and that we would discuss once I saw her. Now, overall I enjoyed my experience. I really appreciated the fact that she was willing to accomodate my wishes and color my hair last minute (after we chopped my hair off). Now, I had just colored my hair black about 3 weeks prior and didnt want a crazy color change just some added dimension with a color we agreed was "mushroom"/ashy brown. She said she would let me know if my hair was lifting okay (I did not want brassy blonde in my hair). After some time passed she said it would be okay. Long story short, I think she overbooked herself from the beginning. She was about 20-30 mins late to take me over to the chair, had someone she was already working on, and had another appointment (came in after me) decide to walk out for 20 minutes while she "finished" working on me. Now with covid happening and given the circumstances I am not complaining about the time and understand businesses need compassion right now. The only issue I have is that I pretty much paid full price, even if it was last minute, for a bit of a rushed result that wasn't entirely what I asked for. Look, the color isn't mushroom and I don't like the way the bangs look. The color on the bangs is brassy, doesn't transition nicely (prob a personal preference thing), and is too much of a contrast from the base color. The blonde on my hair in general looks brassier every day and I knew immediately* after she finished drying my hair that certain parts definitely needed more toning. I did love her coloring technique and again, willingness to go for the look I wanted, she made me feel so much better! I'm giving her 4 stars for a reason! Thank you for that Konstantina. I just could feel her rushing through the last couple of steps which I think led to me not being 100% satisfied given the money I was charged and the time I spent patiently waiting. I can always tell when a hair stylist isnt satisfied with their work when you're the one they don't put up on their instagram that day lol. Moral of the story is to speak up. If I would have said something I'm sure she would have fixed it no problem but I honestly felt bad that she was backed up. I also think as a hair stylist if you know you didnt fully deliver or are rushing you should communicate that to the client and see what the options are. It's the responsibility of the stylist to make sure they have enough time to do what they are agreeing to do for you. I believe she gave me $20 off since it was my first time there so I paid $250 for what I guess is something like a balyage and trim. Overall, I'm happy with the change the color just isn't exactly what I wanted. The bleached hair is dryer than I would like and I'm not happy with the fact that now I'll have to pay more money to have the blonde corrected or toned so early on. Still think she is great! Just wanted to be honest and recommend to not call last minute and to speak up if you need an adjustment on the final product.

The Duchess of your hair kingdom It's über equipped with the latest and greatest technology for all his needs. It's Contemporary aura belies the classic and exquisite attention you get here. I was the only one in the salon. I arrived to a symphony playing that enveloped my mood. Calming and at the same time building an epic moment. He spent a good 30 minutes on my forest visit choosing the color. Spot on with what he envisions and works with you to get to know your perfect choice. Meanwhile he had prepared a cappuccino, with 2 biscoff, chocolate with coconut and fired pineapple and fig. And Icey water. In the most elegant caring way possible and you learn of color while sippin a frothy cap. He is a one man show. And it's a privilege to have his undivided sole attention. He takes his time to care for your hair using systems that protect the hair. He does not delay in his stealth ess and is gentle though very quick in application. It's an integral approach and as my friend who recommended said: You leave feeling like a Queen.
