Going over it once instead of twice probably would have sufficed. It serves the purpose…read more I used to frequent the Richmond Heights location, which was so much more convenient for a City resident (Des Peres is out of the question), but had to use up my lingering tans at Des Peres. During the summer there is regularly a wait, sometimes so much that I looked in the window and turned around and left. The prices were pretty good, but VersaSpa is getting cheaper now so it doesn't seem all that great anymore. Some of the equipment is dated, covered in tanning solutions and just mucky. I've used Versa in Las Vegas when I work there and at Beach House Bronze. At this point, I definitely prefer the VersaPro, which is basically the same price at Beach House Bronze, and just a new salon. I did leave my wedding ring there once and they grabbed it and held it for me, so kuddos for that. Towels are readily available, along with hair nets, but no nose plugs or lip balm (supplied by the salon in Vegas). They also often have diet pill advertisements/samples and things like that laying around which looks cheap and as if they're trying to make a quick buck. It's a bit trashy.

At 8pm on a Thurs, it was busier than I was expecting, but I was still out in 15 minutes. The medium tan in clear always gives me the perfect glow with no streaking. I drive very far to this location. both of the employees spent 10 minutes not able to turn on the VersaPro when I wanted a spray tan that day. they called someone on the phone asking for help. they both acted like they had no idea how to work any of the rooms. are they giving training to the girls who work here? they told me it was a system problem or something. they have no manager there. they have a customer service number you can call and they called me back 2 hours later saying you can use the spray machine now. I went to this location before work right when they opened. it was very frustrating. then I asked them if I could just use a tanning bed. they both seemed bewildered on how to turn on that machine as well? I really don't understand like if you work here you should know how to operate the machine and turn it on so customers can use it?!! My husband and I went there for the head spa treatment for our anniversary. We usually do couples…read moremassages, but due to me having an injury, we couldn't, so we went with that, as it looked relaxing and it was something we had never done before. We walked in and were greeted by a very kind receptionist, then led to the lounge to wait. It was quite calming, though you could hear the traffic outside. When our appointment time came, our technicians (? I don't know what to call them) took us to the couples room, where we proceeded to have the most relaxing experience of our lives. We had the 60 minute treatment, which included a "mini facial". I was expecting maybe a quick wash with a sheet mask. Oh nooooo, this was much more than that! Several different eye and skin masks, then our whole heads were in a steam capsule while we had arm/shoulder massages. We honestly didn't want to leave. Our hair / scalp feels amazing, my hair has had it rough lately, due to it being summer and it now looks fantastic. This was definitely money well spent, and I'll be going back.
