I have been wanting to try this place for a while now. I guess today was the day. I walked in at 3:45pm and was greeted by Vlad, the host/server. I was told that this place is open for a month. I did see reviews on Yelp from last year. This is a family owned business and it truly delivered on every level. It took me a minute to decide what I wanted to eat and went with their combo meal. I ordered one beef kebab, 2 chicken thighs, (small yet filling) Hummus, Cucumber, tomato salad that came with onions, cilantro, and the dressing I believe was lemon juice mixed in with something else. Also came with garlic sauce. Both meats came with a nice size of rice. The food was very fresh, delicious, & flavorful. Service by Argam, and the rest of the staff was on point. I ordered bottled water and Argam didn't charge me for it. I also got a complimentary dessert. Delicious Raspberry custard slice of cake. Place was very clean, shared with many other businesses and had a gender neutral restroom. Also had great music playing in the restaurant. They have extensive menu options from kebabs, to pizza, wraps, to sandwiches, seafood, salad, dessert, beverages and even make their own fresh bread. Had a really great experience at this place. The kebab was honestly one of the best I've had in a while -- super juicy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The best shawarma in all of Los Angeles! The quality of the ingredients is outstanding, the flavors are phenomenal. The beef shawarma was absolutely delicious--high-quality, flavorful meat, perfectly balanced with fresh vegetables, and the yogurt sauce on the side was incredible. The kebab is amazing, seasoned so well. The cucumber tomato salad was a knock out, wish I knew what's in the dressing! The plate also comes with a grilled tomato and jalapeno, not sure why about the latter. Too spicy for me. I'm used to longer grained, fluffier rice with kebabs, but this is a minor point. is mildly spicy, with cilantro I think. Not sure what the mildly spicy tomato sauce is for so I dipped the lavash in it and was a happy camper. I think there's cilantro in it. Instead of a chunk of onion, you get chopped onion to garnish. I love acid with this kind of plate. Prices are very reasonable. Pay with cash and pay less. The inside is pleasant and clean. Service is good and if you prefer outside eating, there are two tables. I found this gem of a restaurant recently via Grubhub. The food they delivered was absolutely delicious and they give generous portions as well. I really love their chicken lula kebab plate! This is a great little spot to get shwarma and kebabs. It's expensive for the portions unfortunately. What I go with: Chicken shawarma plate is very good but small portion. Chicken kebab or beef kebab plates are good as well. The chicken kebab is the winner. I would stick with the chicken kebab plate but just know you will leave hungry. This type of plate for the price should come with two full kebabs instead of one kebab cut in half to make it look like two kebabs. So nice to have great Armenian food nearby. Shawarma, gyros, wraps and plates with all the sides. Chicken, beef, lamb and pork as well as veggies and all so tasty. My favorite is the wrap in lavash bread so thin that the meats really stand out. Either way you can't lose. It's very nicely appointed inside with a big kitchen and a display case showing what they have on skewers, ready to cook for you. I've had chicken, beef, filet mignon with ground beef and lamb fat, and all were delicious. I don't really have a favorite as everything is so good. Even a simple mix of peppers and mushrooms could make me a vegetarian. I don't know what they use for seasoning but it's right up my alley. read more

I wanted to grab an early lunch at this spot. When I pulled into the customer parking, someone stood up (I'm assuming the owner) and came outside only to begin berating me with profanities about not being able to read the sign... that said parking was for customers only. I didn't even get a chance to step out of my car and into the restaurant before this guy was out in my face about parking in front of his restaurant I was about to go into. I've never seen someone get this worked up and chase away a customer. Do not support this place.
