it's my first time at Ggiata & i already love this place. the people are so nice & goofy. i love when employees express their personalities with customers, it's so fun! this place is pretty simple.. you walk inside, stand in line to place your order, and then you pick up your food outside from the pick up window. so easy, i love it. seating tables outside with trash disposal provided. i have heard so many great things about their Cesar crispy chicken wrap and i had to try it myself. the wrap is provided with a Cesar dressing which is nice. the wrap sure does own up to the hype! the crispy chicken was so good! it was perfect at each bite! i love that they add the crispy croutons around the wrap, so good! next time i would like to try the cesar grilled chicken wrap. 10/10 recommend! read more

How long should it take to make ONE sandwich? I believe anything over 10 minutes is to much and more so unacceptable. It took them 24 minutes on a Monday afternoon to make me a cheesesteak sandwich. ONLY 1 Employees seemed to be out of it, or miserable working there. Ggiata is definitely one of my favorite sandwich spots to go to. A lot of their sandwiches are really good but my favorites that I tend to order the most are the prosciutto panino and the Draper. I've been to a few locations and all I can say is the staff is always friendly and the sandwiches are made with good quality. Prosciutto panino - if you like pesto, spicy, and prosciutto, this is the one! I can honestly eat this everyday The Draper- if you like chicken cutlets, balsamic and prosciutto, but not a lot of prosciutto, this is the one to go with. Ggiata is a neighborhood sandwich shop that opened a year ago here in Studio City. My son suggested we try this place today so we came around 6:45pm. Mitch was behind the counter and he greeted us with a genuine smile and kind attitude. He was very welcoming and had good energy. I ordered a Caprese Sandwich ($17.50) with Gluten Free Bread (+$2.50) and added chicken (+$3). Honestly, I've had better Caprese sandwiches and I was expecting it to be hot. Both the bread and the chicken inside were like room temp. I also got a bag of dill pickle chips ($3) and a Mango Hydration Drink ($4). My son had the Cheesesteak Special sandwich ($18) and it was absolutely delicious. I liked his sandwich more than mine. He loved it too, since he completely inhaled it. The steak was juicy and flavorful, it had just enough cheese and the sesame roll was very fresh, tasty and HOT! The place itself is small and clean. There are a few stools if you want to eat inside, or you can sit at one of the tables outside. They have one gender neutral restroom which was clean. After you place your order, you pick it up outside at this adorable little pick-up window they have. I will be back to try this place again, but for now I'm sticking with 4 stars just based on how expensive it was and the temperature of my sandwich. I don't really get the hype with this place. The sandwiches are fine but not worth the parking, although not entirely in their control, it seems Ggiata always opens where it's just absurd to get to if you don't live across the street to walk. I finally tried the viral caesar salad wrap. The menu description is pretty basic and that's what you get - a pretty basic chicken caesar salad wrap. The wrap is a good size and toasted well, but there's hardly any dressing in the wrap, I think I found 2 croutons, and the chicken was dry and flavorless. They give you a side of dressing which is nice but even that little dressing cup is half full. read more

I've been to the other Ggiata location in Highland Park, and thought it was a great little sandwich joint. Especially loved that they had decent gluten free bread for my S/O. But this location was pretty lackluster. Perhaps I ordered wrong - The Lily was somehow both too salty and not salty enough. The parmesan and crispy prosciutto were the salt bombs, but the egg tasted completely unseasoned and the bread's only flavor was a vague char. Arugula was the best part of that sandwich, so I'm glad they put a lot of it on there. If I'd gotten a different sandwich, this may have been a different review. Who knows. S/O got the breakfast club on GF bread, which ended up being pretty solid. Nothing crazy standout, but certainly tastier than mine. I know they're known for their lunch sandwiches moreso than their breakfast sandwiches, but I personally think that if you're going to include something on your menu, it should be up to par with the rest of your offerings. I love coming to Ggiata for The Crispy Chicken Caesar Wrap. The chicken is flavorful and has a great crunch that goes perfectly with the other ingredients. The wrap is generously sauced, but I really appreciate how they still include a side of Caesar dressing for those who want to indulge themselves. My last visit I tried The Grilled Chicken Caesar Wrap and The Turk. Surprisingly, the grilled wrap has different ingredients than the crispy wrap. Even with extra sauce it was on the drier side and wasn't as flavorful. Clearly the grilled wrap is inferior. As for The Turk, I didn't enjoy it very much. On paper it sounded great, but the ingredients didn't mesh well and I didn't like the honey mustard. I'll keep come back for The Crispy Chicken Caesar Wrap and try a new sandwich while I'm there. Nice thin fried eggplant. A bit of spice (peperocini?) would have really elevated it. Antonia - this is their turkey avocado sandwich. It is screaming for a pickle or similar acidic element. A bit bland, but pleasant. Chicken Parm - looks like a million bucks, but again, a bit bland. My 5 year old daughter sort of liked it. There is a spicy version (Spicy P) which is what I would choose next time. Prices are typical for somewhat upmarket sandwiches these days (close to $20 per sandwich). I would not avoid this place in the future, but I can think of a few sandwich joints I would prefer. That's pretty much the definition of 3 stars. Came back to give their breakfast items a try. The hashbrowns are pretty mushy in my opinion. The picture online made it seem like it was crispier. It had a crispy edge though but the rest of it could have been crispier. The Lily was alright. The only thing i loved was the fact that i chose to switch out the ciabatta with a sesame round roll. All the bread that ive tried at Ggiata always end up being hard and too chewy but the sesame round roll was soft in the middle and well toasted on the outside. The Jaffe was the best part for this order. It was very refreshing. I got it on an everything bagel. Wow! 10/10 can't wait to come back. This is exactly what I wanted after my hike and it was so close by to the trail area. It a trendy spot playing vibey hip hop music and throwback that seems popular among locals. We came in before 12 on a Saturday but the line started to build quickly. I got my sandwich pretty quickly and it looked gorgeous. I got the prosciutto panini, packed with meat with a nice mild heat from the chillis balanced by the stracciatella and honey, combined with the pop of freshness from the greens. Every ingredient created such a cohesive flavor profile that felt savory, yet light and refreshing. I would've loved to see some smoked salmon on the menu, but with so many other great options I didn't really get too hung up on that. The portions are decent, enough to split with two people, especially if you already have something to drink. While you can sit inside, there a couple tables outside where you can listen to the buzz of the Saturday morning foot traffic and scout out cute shops to go to after your meal. read more

No only do I love doing deliveries from Ggiata's on Studio City but I love having breakfast, lunch or dinner from here. With chef Erica in the kitchen making sure quality comes out of her kitchen. I've been a customer since they opened, the first time I tried their egg and cheese soft scramble it was missing the chives and not very good. The 2nd time I decided to give them a chance I told them what happened and they made it up to me and offered me another scrambled egg bagel sandwich on the house this time with chives. I really appreciated them for this. I came back again and tried the scrambled egg bagel sandwich and I definitely won't order this again. I don't know what to really say about the soft scrambled it's just lacking flavor and isn't really good the everything bagel is crap and the egg needs salt. So skip this. Very basic! I've also ordered the spicy P sandwich and it's not even spicy and the chicken cutlet was really hard to bite into. I also got the chicken caesar wrap by far this is my favorite. If I'm craving a caesar wrap I'll come here for this only. Good luck finding parking here, this area is always so busy. They have some seating indoors and outdoors.
