Fancy Italian sandwich. Delicious and high quality ingredients.

The fancy Italian sandwich is delicious. Bread has crunch to it. High quality ingredients.

So many options but definitely more than just a deli. We ordered this for a work lunch so ordered sandwiches both hot and cold, salads, calzones. Went I went to pick up the order and although it wasn't ready I only waited another 5 minutes and staff was very friendly. Lots of tables inside for those who choose to dine in. They packaged each sandwich and labeled it so it was easy to give out each persons order. I ordered the Italian and it was very good just got my order incorrect as I didn't want mustard but it had it. Friendly service and a good tasting sandwich made up for the error though.

Family owned deli spot, with the old school restaurant feel. Whole staff was friendly and welcoming. A+ customer service and the Roma special sandwich with fries was on point too!

Their subs are on point. Quality meat, tasty bread, good service, great price. I'd recommend.

Delicious Zucchini, pizza by the slice, sandwiches, and gyros. Tell me a place by you that has those items and serves breakfast all day. They also have burritos, dessert, and burgers. I ordered online from their website and it arrived in 30 minutes. The staff is very friendly. I paid with cash and all was amazing! Another Valley Gem in NoHo.

This place rules and I wish I knew about it ages ago. Amazing pizza and sandwiches. The prices are really good, surprising even! The staff is really nice and you can tell they appreciate their customers and there's clearly a lot of regulars. Love the energy of this place. want to come back and try more of the menu. Definitely stop by if you're craving italian!

Talk about a last-minute find! I had just finished a delivery nearby and asked a guy at the spot if he knew any good delis around. He said, "Check out Roma Deli down the street, it's really good." Ten minutes later, I'm walking through the front door into this classic little spot that totally lives up to the name. It's a small deli with a huge menu and a warm vibe. While checking out the board, I was greeted by an older gentleman who turned out to be Nick, the owner. Super friendly, and you could tell he lives for this place. He said he's been running the show for 33 years, and the deli itself has been standing strong for over 70. That alone tells you everything. It's places like this... humble, family-run spots, that really get it. Let's start with the Italian Combo Sub. This thing came stacked with all the staples--mortadella, capicola, cotto salami, dry salami, provolone, and pepper jack all tucked inside a fresh sesame French roll. From the first bite, it had the perfect balance of meaty richness and crunchy freshness. The flavors blended beautifully... salty, tangy, a little spicy, and very satisfying. The bread had just the right chew, giving that old-school deli bite that hits different. And if you read my past reviews, you already know that I had to get the Reuben. It came out golden grilled, buttery crisp on the outside, layered with juicy pastrami, melted Swiss Cheese, Sauerkraut, Russian Dressing, Garlic Sauce. (and creamy coleslaw that I ordered on the side) that brought both sweetness and tang. The house-made Russian dressing alone is straight-up dip-worthy. You could put that sauce on anything, and it would taste amazing. This Reuben is messy in the best possible way. It's rich, smoky, melty, and comforting. Every bite tasted like it came straight from the heart of a deli that's been doing it right for generations. I even told Nick before I left that this was one of my top five best Reubens I've ever had! Roma Deli is one of those rare finds where you walk in curious and walk out impressed and full. The food is the real deal, the atmosphere is laid-back and welcoming, and Nick? He's a legend.

Pretty disappointing today. Uber eats order. - Cheese Steak Pastrami Sandwich 2.4/5 Tasted like a regular pastrami sandwich with no cheese and A LOT OF OIL. I thought it will be cheesy but it wasn't. Lots of mustard applied. - Pasta Salad 1.2/5 It tastes good but literally only pasta noodles. Nothing else (even though it's in the description). See pic.

This place was recommended by a friend. It has a large seating area and a great menu of selections. They have hot and cold sandwiches, paninis and pizza. The staff were friendly and explained their different choice options. I ended up ordering the hot pastrami and made it a combo with mac salad and coleslaw. The food was delicious and fresh. The bread was nicely toasted on the outside and soft and warm on the inside. Stop by and give this place a chance.

Unfortunately, I did not have a good experience:( The customer service was cold and unwelcoming from the start. No greeting at all when we walked in, it felt like we were inconveniencing the staff just by ordering. For a specialty shop with premium pricing, the experience should be welcoming or some what friendly from staff?? After all the customers are what keep business open... Speaking of pricing: I fully understand imported snacks come at a markup. But $10 (before tax) for a single soda is excessive. I ordered a BLT, two sodas, chips, and candy, and the total was shockingly high for what we received. There's a difference between niche pricing and feeling taken advantage of. What really sealed it for me, though, was the lack of professionalism. We chose to eat outside, and shortly after, the employee who made our sandwiches came outside and began smoking weed near the seating area. The smell was extremely strong and made me nauseous to the point where I couldn't even enjoy my food. Regardless of personal choices, that's simply not appropriate around customers who are actively eating. As far as the sandwich goes, and why I still have 3 stars- the BLT was exceptional and probably the best I've ever had. I would pay for it again but won't be back due to all other aspects. So take that as you will! A cool concept can only carry a place so far. Between the service, the pricing, and the overall atmosphere, this wasn't an experience I'd repeat.

The discounts can be incredible and I appreciate sale-priced groceries in today's economy as well as the opportunity to support local and international farms. Sunflower seeds, sunflower oil, low sugar and no sugar added cookies, pastries and cakes, caviar, dried fish, pickled Herring, perfectly ripe berries, smoked fish, halva, cheese spread, jams, and artisan teas, all five stars. About six years ago, I had been exposed to high levels of radiation according to a good old fashioned Geiger counter. My health began to drastically decline and I became very weak. Not skimpy, not balanced, loaded in the best possible way. The Kaiser roll deserves its own shoutout: lightly toasted with just enough crunch on the outside while staying soft and pillowy inside. It holds everything together without getting soggy, even with all that cheese. * The meat version had crispy, flavorful bacon layered just right, salty, smoky, and not overdone. * The meatless one didn't feel like a compromise at all, still rich, filling, and honestly just as indulgent thanks to the cheese and eggs. While we were waiting, my mom suddenly became very hungry. Both she and I tend to get low blood sugar, so when hunger hits, we usually need to eat something right away. Since the car was being washed, we looked around for a place within walking distance and happened to discover this small Italian deli nearby. They offered sandwiches and pasta dishes. Since both my mom and I love pasta, we decided to have lunch here. We ordered spaghetti with marinara sauce (no meat). When ordering, we were asked whether we wanted penne or spaghetti, and we chose spaghetti. My brother ordered the Eggplant Lasagna. Both dishes came with garlic bread, and the garlic bread was absolutely delicious. The spaghetti was so good, and the Eggplant Lasagna was equally tasty. The restaurant itself was very small, but it felt like discovering a hidden gem. I noticed photos of Hollywood stars displayed on the walls and wondered if they were pictures of celebrities who had visited the restaurant over the years. According to the information displayed inside, the restaurant has been operating since 1971, which explains why it feels like such a long-standing neighborhood favorite. The staff members were all very friendly, and I left an additional cash tip. My mom kindly treated us to lunch today using her credit card, and I am very grateful. There were, however, two downsides to our visit. First, I used the restroom and noticed that it had a bad smell there. Second, after checking in on Yelp, I noticed that the restaurant's posted closing time was 3:00 PM. We arrived around 2:30 PM for a late lunch. My brother was delayed because he had to pick up the car from the car wash and didn't arrive until around 2:45 PM. While we were still eating, one of the staff began putting chairs up and cleaning the dining room. By 3:00 PM, it felt as though they were waiting for customers to leave. The front door was left open, and the atmosphere made us feel somewhat rushed. I asked one of the staff members what time they closed, and he confirmed that they closed at 3:00 PM. We quickly packed up our remaining garlic bread to go and left shortly afterward. On a positive note, when I asked for a to-go box, they were very friendly and carefully packed everything for us. Overall, the food was delicious, and the staff was kind. However, I didn't particularly enjoy having the chairs put away and the dining room cleaned while customers were still eating. It would have been nicer if someone had simply let us know that the restaurant closed at 3:00 PM. We would have gladly finished up and left on our own. Despite that issue, I still enjoyed the food very much and was happy to discover this hidden neighborhood gem. I love Italian food, and I've dined at many upscale Italian restaurants with elegant atmospheres over the years. While this place is small and simple, the food was truly excellent and full of flavor.

Yes, it's a bit on the saltier side, but that's why you have the cucumber to balance it out a bit and the warm and soft pita bread. The brisket was tender and I loved the spread (which you can buy!). It's such a unique take on the common pastrami sandwich. So remember: 1. Order online (no phone calls) 2. Park in the back 3. CALL THEM, letting you know you have arrived. 4. Enter through the big doors (its unlocked) 5. Wait for them to come out to retrieve order. 6. Enjoy!

Having heard about this place for years, when it was a backyard operation, I was excited to give it…read morea try. I placed my order online and headed to their ghost kitchen to pick it up. I ordered the Basturma Brisket Sandwich which is their most popular item. I am a big fan of both Basturma and Brisket so this sounded like a match made in heaven. And I was right!!! This sandwich was epic!! The meat was tender and smoky. The spices were perfectly balanced. It had a delicious Chaman Spread, a slice of Swiss cheese and housemade pickled Persian cucumbers. The acidity of the pickles helped to balance out the rich meat. It all came together like magic. The sandwich is quite large, which justifies the $29 price. I only ate half and saved the rest for later. It was just as good cold as it was hot. I can't wait for my friends to try it. They will love it!! Great job III Mas!
