Ordered takeout from here one time which appears to be very popular. I don't remember seeing a way to eat in here, but this does not matter to me. I'll go with whatever is most popular! The shawarma I ordered from here was great and very tasty and flavourful. Every bite melted in my mouth. However, the portions seemed a bit too small for the amount the restaurant charged hence the one star dropped. Was surprised at this place. Went in thinking it would be like any other shawarma place but it wasn't. The service was great. The two gentlemen who served us were polite and the store was very clean. We had 1 chicken and 1 beef shawarma. It came to approx $16.00 with taxes. The portion of meat they put in both was great, and I was definitely satisfied after. Went there yesterday with my mom and picked up a beef shawarma, falafel and the garlic potatoes. The beef was very tender (not dry like some other places) and the falafel was very tasty. This restaurant recently opened near us. I was so excited to be able to get shawarma close to home. We have eaten here twice now and the food did not disappoint. The portions are huge (I think they may soon realize that they are too big, so get here quickly). So far we have tried chicken shawarma, fattoush, tabouleh, lamb shank and beef shawarma. The spicy rice, potatoes, hummus, pita are all fresh and delicious. My only criticism so far would be that the beef shawarma was too salty for my taste. As the business is new, they need to streamline their processes a little bit. At this point, putting the orders together is taking longer than it should but I would imagine that these details will be ironed out. The employees we have dealt with and the owner seem like lovely people who are happy to customize your order in any way to meet your needs. This will be one of our family's go-to spots for a quick, inexpensive take-out dinner. read more

I had the mix plate (chicken & beef) both fresh off the spit, crispy. They give you a choice of 3 different kinds of rice. The salad was pretty generic but fresh. The potatoes only thing that kinda sucked (cold). The hummus and garlic spread were good too. Loses a star because it was pretty expensive. $17.90 for plate and drink. Was given the takeout bag with the styrofoam container sideways in the bag, obviously the rice was no longer in the container. I picked up this order for my daughter the The Pita Plater, my daughter started getting mad at me because it seems the most OBVIOUS thing, the pita was absent. She thought I ate it. She called up and the person on the phone said they'll try to get it right next time. UPDATE : next day went in and spoke with the store owner. He was understanding and listened to me. He gave a signed written coupon for my daughter to use on her next order. So, I have added this to my statement and improved the rating from one star to four. I've worked as a store manager in the fast food industry and it was nice to not have to argue my point and was thanked for bringing this to his attention. read more

Visiting the city to take care of a family member I needed something spicy to eat. While walking along Adelaide Street I spotted Shawarma Pita Palace at the corner of Adelaide and Huron streets. Located on the northwest corner in a small plaza the place has a few tables and a counter at the back with a kitchen behind. I opted for a falafel sandwich and was happy with results. It was tasty and while the falafel weren't deep fried out front they tasted fine. A good, simple fast food option for those not wanting to eat from the plethora of chain road houses in London. read more

A Little Gem! We discovered this place by chance/luck through our Ontario travels. We've eaten middle eastern food all over Canada, USA and Middle East, and by far this was the best that we've had! Super polite staff, immaculately clean, fresh, flavorful, transparent (they prepare shawarma in front of you using extra fresh toppings). It took us by surprise and I guess it was our lucky day. I will be using this little gem as my caterer from now on and will travel from far to eat here- it's worth the time. BTW- very huge generous portions and reasonably priced. I had to go out of my way to download yelp JUST so I could compliment this restaurant. BEST shawarma and garlic sauce in town. I could bathe in the garlic roasted potatoes and garlic sauce. Awful customer service. From the moment you walk in you can see that the workers don't like their job and they don't fail to show it. Went with my parents the guy that served us was rude to them and the employees would whisper to themselves while taking my moms orders. On top of that the food wasn't good I couldn't finish my whole shawarma and I usually devour them in seconds. Over all... Overpriced mediocre food with bad customer service at this place. It was cold inside and the people there make you feel unwelcome. Never coming back here again and I suggest if you're considering a shawarma place go to a different one avoid disappointment with this one. read more
