We were having a Yelp event a few doors down, and I spotted this place. So you know I had to stop by. I was otw to food and still stopped to get more food!! Greedy!! Lol. The owner greeted me right away and helped me decide what I wanted. There are tables inside to dine in and they also had delivery. There weren't many people inside so there was no wait. It's setup subway style where you pick your toppings and the bowls are made in front of you. There were a good amount of choices. They have platters, bowls, salads, gyros, and more. I got a bowl with chicken and pita chips. The prices was reasonable and the portion was A ok in my book!! The ingredients seemed fresh and all the textures and different sauces made the dish pop. I enjoyed my meal. This place will definitely satisfy you with all the options. Good service and nice people. Check them out!!

I came here because they were on the Delta Skydining program and they offered me bonus points for dining within a certain time frame. I honestly would have never walked foot into this restaurant otherwise. Mainly because I have no knowledge of Mediterranean or Turkish food. I honestly had to look up the definitions of the menu prior to going to pick up my dinner. I decided that I would order a steak shish Kebab platter with babaganoush and Turkish salad with an extra steak shish Kebab. The menu says that there was a 15 minute cook time for the kebab platters so I did have to wait awhile for the food to be ready but it is nice that they cooked the food freshly. The restaurant is small and clean, nothing special but not bad either. There were about 10 tables for dine in. As I was waiting, the restaurant got busier and the once empty store had quite a few people dining in and taking out. Once my food was ready, I asked about the sauces available since they had six in-house sauces to choose from. The worker/owner? was very friendly and recommended the red hot sauce and he also gave me a side of Tzatziki sauce as well. He was definitely right about the hot sauce, it was really good. I used the hot sauce on the steak and the Tzatziki sauce on the sauced tortillas. The food didn't look as I expected it to look as it looked like the steak was wrapped in the tortillas but I think it wasn't the case as I think the steak just kind of rolled into the tortilla slice. The food was very good, the steak with the hot sauce was excellent, the rice was good, the tortillas were really good especially with the Tzatziki sauce. The Turkish salad was good fresh and wholesome with a bunch of chopped fresh vegetables and pickled cabbage. The babaganoush was good too but I thought it would be more the consistency of hummus but I think that was due to my lack of knowledge of the cuisine. Overall, I really enjoyed the food and next time I will skip the extra kebab because although I ate everything, I should probably have been fine with the platter portion and not gorge myself. I highly recommend eating here if you want fresh, healthy, good food.

Chicken Shawarma pita (I ate 1/2 before taking a pic lol)

I saw the truck for this place parked out front and my husband and I decided to go here for dinner. The food was delicious. I got a chicken Shawarma pita and I was only able to eat half of it while we were there. My husband got The beef/lamb Shawarma wrap and he really enjoyed it as well. Like I said, the portions were massive it was a little on the expensive side but because the portions were so good I don't think it's a big deal. The people inside were super nice and I would definitely go back.

This place is legit! GREAT customer service and the food is deeeelishhh! The place has been open for a year but I just saw it when visiting a store near by. I walked in and the owner greeted me with the warmest welcome. He broke down the menu and talked about how in Israel Shawarma spots our plentiful and he takes great pride bringing a taste of home to the 757. I ordered a bowl with all the toppings. They weren't stinging on the portions either. The second time around, I had the chicken kebab platter. It came with well seasoned chicken, rice and 2 sides. I've had the Turkish salad, hummus, and an eggplant dish. Everything was yummmmy! Very healthy and fulfilling. They also serve pizzas which I will try next. But if you are ever in the area, please check them out.

Hospitality. This is by far one of my favorite new places. I can't wait to bring the family back. I stopped in the other night since I didn't have my kids with me and I needed to finish up some studying before heading home. It was my first time here and they took time to explain the menu. I wish I took more pics while I was there.... Next time. In the front area you can get a quick meal to eat there or to go. However, if you have a few minutes, I'd recommend getting the Turkish Hatay. Ask about it and they'll explain it. I got the lamb/beef one along with a side of fries and garlic sauce/paste... whichever name you prefer. It was excellent. I shouldn't have eaten the whole thing, but I did. The good food and the warm fuzzies you get as soon as you walk in the door will bring us back time and time again. Definitely check them out!

A hidden gem. We were looking for Mediterranean and it took us to this place. Firstly, the service is more than excellent. The cashier/server is so knowledgeable of what they were offering and was so attentive and very helpful in me choosing what I want. The place is small but clean and easy to maneuver & easy on the eyes too. Now, their food taste so good, full of herbs and each ingredients are fresh, well mixed & are distinctly palatable. The burst of flavor is very pleasing. I also like their warm bread. They also have desserts like baklava. I thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would visit this very tasteful place again.

Great service and excellent food! The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We ordered the lamb platter, which came with saffron rice and 2 sides. I picked the Tzatziki and the hummus for my sides. The naan was very flavorful, which I believe had some kind of red pepper sauce. The lamb was tender and full of flavor. They gave generous portions, which was very delicious and well worth the price! I love this place because the food is excellent but at a fair and reasonable price! Will definitely be back because the trip is worth it!

The food is delicious. Amazing customer service. The restaurant is very clean. I recommend this place to anyone.

There was a shwarma at one point Delicious!

Ordered a Shwarma with the lamb and beef and an assortment of toppings recommended by the man helping me. As you can tell by the picture, it was absolutely amazing. If I didn't live so far, I'd probably come here way more than I should lol. Delicious food, come and eat!

Chicken shawarma pita

Sophia and I headed to Chesapeake to try out this little spot which opened less than a year ago. It's right near my old job so the path was not hard to find at all. Being first-timers, would it be a yay or a nay? We were immediately greeted by the staff at the counter where you order. Both of us ordered a chicken shawarma pita which consisted of rice, hummus, onions, Turkish salad, pickles and Gariic sauce. Sophia had hers with slightly different ingredients and a side of fries which we both shared. Very good stuff. They gave us a good amount of chicken which was well seasoned. And you can't go wrong with veggies to compliment the protein. The fries were pretty hot and seasoned too. The next time I head back, I'll definitely order a side. I can say we found a new place to repeat. Great service by the staff, friendly vibes and great food. We definitely couldn't ask for more. Till next time :)

Baklava! You can taste the freshness

I haven't even tasted the food yet and I already know I am going to like it here. The customer service is TOP NOTCH! They are soooooo nice and helpful. I said I wanted a hummus wrap--all vegan. They crafted me a sandwich specific to my needs. Sadly, in this day and age, you don't get quality customer anymore. This place is the exception. They took the the time to make sure my meatless wrap had everything I wanted. That meant a lot to me. And that hummus wrap that I had not tasted in the previous paragraph--WOW! Homemade hummus, onion sumac, fresh veggies and tahini and garlic sauce took this from just a wrap to a MASTERPIECE. My husband had the lamb wrap and his first bite he said, "Oh this is FRESH lamb!" We also had the hummus appetizer, compliments of the owners--and they deep fry the pita bread. It has a crunch to it that makes it impossible to eat just one. We rounded out our meal with stuffed grape leaves (that were NOT OVERSTUFFED with just rice) and flavorful baklava. This TURKISH meal was absolute perfection (notice I didn't say Greek. Contrary to popular belief, hummus, shawarma, falafel, etc. are TURKISH in origin). This place will definitely see me at least 1-2x a week moving forward. Yes, it is THAT good!

I stopped by during their pop up at Farmhouse Brewery and, once again, they did not disappoint. One thing you need to know: their burritos are massive. We're talking "the size of your head" big, so come hungry or be ready for some epic leftovers. The menu is small and focused (usually around four burrito choices), but every single one is packed with quality ingredients and flavor. The Coop spends most days serving on base, but keep an eye out for their local pop-ups. They're always worth chasing down. This time around, I ordered the Pepper Jack Chicken Burrito which was grilled chicken breast, maple bacon, melty pepper jack cheese, and their signature Coop Sauce, all bundled up in a warm tortilla. Every bite was the perfect balance of hearty, savory, spicy, and just a hint sweet from the bacon. Their Coop sauce is one of a kind. Tangy, and delicious. I'm sure adding an egg would take it to the next level (that's an option on all burritos). My friends had the Breakfast Burrito! This one comes with fluffy scrambled eggs, sharp cheddar cheese, juicy sausage, more of that craveable maple bacon, herby potatoes, and (of course) the signature Coop Sauce. They raved about every bite. I appreciate that The Coop keeps things simple with their streamlined menu and focus on top-notch burritos. Whenever I see them around town, I make it a point to stop ... even if there's a line, it moves fast and is absolutely worth the wait. Whether you're looking for a new lunch favorite or just crave seriously great street food, The Coop is a true gem on the Virginia Beach food truck scene. Can't wait to catch them at their next pop-up!

Coffees, teas seasonal drinks, sandwiches and pastries. My husband and I were taking a quick break from. Hopping and decided on drinks and a pastry. We ordered the grinch matcha latte, a gingerbread latte and a spinach feta pastry. Omg both of us loved the grinch. I've been searching for a matcha I could enjoy and this is it! All the right notes: not too sweet, creamy and the matcha well blended in the milk-think no grainy residue at the end. If I'm in the matcha mood I'm coming to get this. The grinch was so good I think it made the gingerbread latte less exciting but it was still delicious! The expresso was strong so for a non Coffee drinker like me it wasn't my favorite but my husband thought it was great. The pastry came out hot and was delicious. Everything came out fairly fast so even with the crowd we were there less than 30 minutes. I want to come back and try more drinks and a salad that seems up my alley. Please check out this locals establishment. You won't be disappointed!!

Time your visit well, and you'll be rewarded with a sunset that is nothing short of spectacular--an ideal backdrop for an already memorable dining experience. The restaurant strikes a rare balance: refined without being pretentious. The atmosphere leans toward fine dining, yet the dress code is refreshingly unforced. Jackets and ties coexist comfortably with shorts and flip-flops--a subtle nod to Chesapeake's "come as you are" sensibility. Whether you arrive by boat or by car, the experience begins the moment you step inside. We started with the ahi carpaccio and a classic Caesar salad--both fresh, well-composed, and thoughtfully prepared. For entrées, my wife chose the crab-stuffed shrimp, finished with a lemon-herb beurre blanc and accompanied by sautéed vegetables. It was an excellent dish--rich, balanced, and, notably, not shared. I opted for the 13-ounce New York strip with a garlic and herb demi-glace. Cooked to a precise medium-rare, the steak was properly seasoned and executed with confidence.
