To give you a small understanding…read more- I'm the guy who 99% of the time doesn't like complaining and refrains from making any sort of scene in public. I try to be an understanding person when a service/food experience is just horrible to try not to get anyone fired. Somehow when I leave I'm able to look at the positives and I walk away just not going back to that location again. I'm going to change that today as I am now fed up completely. I initially called this dentistry on the recommendation of a friend. I called for Dr. Noorani and apparently he was booked for almost two months. I have a root canal that needs to be done and so I was obviously in tons of pain. They tried to have me go with another dentist at the office. Due to my horrible experience with bad dentists I did not want to take a chance and I told them to just give me Noorani's next available appointment. I waited just to get a call the day before that my appointment is cancelled. The office KNEW i was in pain and that I waited for this dentist yet I get a call almost two months later with them trying to throw the same dentist that I initially declined. I was extremely upset as I was in tons of pain but I gave it another chance (people make mistakes right?). The front desk lady said she would book me for a consultation appointment (with a different dentist a week and a half later) to just view it so they can prescribe me medication for pain control/antibiotics and then the Monday afterwards would give me my appointment with Noorani in the morning. The first Monday comes around for my consultation and I was still out of town for work, I call to let them know and ask them if they can just do the consultation on the same day (Noorani appointment) and ill get through the pain till then. She then tells me I never booked your appointment for next Monday. When I asked why she said "I wasn't sure if you wanted it". So you booked me for the consultation on Monday but didn't book the main appointment that I have been waiting for over 2 months (close to three now) with the busiest dentist in the world?! She then tells me my first appointment wasn't a consultation and Dr. Noorani was going to start the procedure... I had never been more confused in my life. I was completely silent over the phone and then she gives the final blow by saying that Dr. Noorani has also said he will only do the root canal if I let him also do the crown!!!?? This was something we spoke about the first day I called and they specifically knew I was going to another dentist for my crown and he is a dentist that doesn't have an issue with it. BUT ALL OF A SUDDEN he wants to do my crown which is very expensive almost $1000 over my primary dentist. By far my worst experience ever from a medical professional. You would hope that people in this field care about your medical needs and at-least stay true to their word. Calling a patient 2 months later the day before an appointment to cancel and making sudden ultimatums is completely unethical and to be frank upsetting. Man, I feel a little better now. It's safe to say I found a great dentistry here. I was referred to this dentistry by my friend Fateemah, who knows the dentist at this practice, and also recommended her to my family as they preferred someone that spoke Spanish. My family said great things about the practice, so I decided to go for it. I called the office and was able to get an appointment very easily. I didn't know what exactly I needed done except for a cleaning, but the receptionist (sorry for not remembering your name) suggested for me to get X-rays taken, only if I knew when the last time it was done or if my insurance had records of it so that I knew it'd be covered by them. Luckily I had that information and knew it'd be covered. When I arrived, Nandi (spell check) was very sweet and professional when taking the X-rays, she made sure I was as comfortable as possible throughout the whole process. My cleaning was done by Jessica. Five stars just for the cleaning! She was very thorough with the cleaning, going the extra mile to explain what she was doing and informing me of things that can negatively affect one's oral health. She reminded me so much of Fateemah, as she too was thorough when she did my cleaning. Jessica gave me tips on what kind of ingredient to look for in toothpaste to ensure I take good care of my teeth. After the cleaning, I met with Dr. Febo-Cuello to discuss the X-rays taken. She gave me the bad news of cavities, but assured me it's not that major. She also was able to give me a referral to another doctor for an implant, as I never got around to getting one after my extraction. She gave me good news that the chipped tooth could be filled in instead of going straight for a root canal, so I was happy about that! I went to her again for the fillings and I gotta say it was painless! Once the procedure was done, she even told me of the slight possibility of needing a root canal, should I have sensitivity on one of the tooth she filled in, but again, reassured me that that shouldn't be the case. To summarize this essay, I can safely say I was recommended to a great practice. Dr. Febo-Cuello and her team are amazing and I appreciate the thoroughness they all exhibited during my visits. I highly recommend them to anyone!

During the exam it was determined that I needed some work which was performed during the appointment. Upon completion, I was presented a bill that included a large co-pay ($192) and a large bill ($482) for the work done, but no deduction for the $49 coupon. My insurer claimed that I shouldn't have had to pay the co-pay and I should request an refund. The insurer said they would also be sending me a check to refund any money I paid in excess. For some reason, the insurer's accounting group mailed the check to the dentist instead of me. I contacted this dentist for a refund of my co-pay and also the money mistakenly sent to them by my insurer. I received a check for $74 and was told that was all I was going to receive. They didn't refund my co-pay. They didn't refund the $500 mistakenly sent them by the insurer. It's still unresolved. So, beware the $49 coupon... It's cost me a lot more than it saved me...

I needed an affordable place to receive dental care, and this wasn't it. And then the dentist came in and said my teeth were too bad to clean today and that my bite was messed up and I needed Invisalign. I politely explained that I wasn't going to be able to afford Invisalign, and she said "don't worry we can open up a credit line", as if I was just dying to go into debt over dental luxuries I can't afford. They printed out a treatment plan, and scheduled me a cleaning. The office manager person walked me through the bullet points and had me sign it. It was very expensive even after the discount I bought for $99. Hundreds of dollars for the cleaning, and thousands for the cavity fillings. I haven't had a proper cleaning in a couple years and I really wanted to get one done so I sucked it up and scheduled it. I said "let's just do the cleaning for now" and they once again offered me a credit line. On the cleaning day, they did a deep clean and got underneath my gums and I'm glad they did that. It wasn't horrendously painful but I was having discomfort and I could tell the hygienist was getting frustrated by me. I was trying my hardest to sit still and follow instructions and it definitely felt like she had zero patience. Too much liquid filled up my throat and I coughed and she was upset because I might spit on her or something. At the end she requested a 4 month follow up , and I said I probably wouldn't be able to afford another cleaning for a while, and she told me how irresponsible that was. Like obviously I would love more regular dental care. It ended with her reminding me once again they could open up a credit line. It really felt like they were trying to get me to go into debt over the dental care and it seems like they're trying to trick and extract money from low income patients who don't know better. They really were advising me to go thousands of dollars in debt on Invisalign. As for the cavities, a local family dentist office nearby me offered to fill those cavities for around 1/4 the cost Affordable Dental Care Quoted.
