This office is always overbooked! No professionalism! Dr Nurani broke my tooth because he was rushing trying to service multiple patients at one time! Billing department got upset when I inquired about the copay cost! The fastest teeth cleaning service ever! I would not recommend this Dentist or this staff not even for free ! This is my first review ever for Yelp, Google, or anything else. To give you a small understanding - I'm the guy who 99% of the time doesn't like complaining and refrains from making any sort of scene in public. I try to be an understanding person when a service/food experience is just horrible to try not to get anyone fired. Somehow when I leave I'm able to look at the positives and I walk away just not going back to that location again. I'm going to change that today as I am now fed up completely. I initially called this dentistry on the recommendation of a friend. I called for Dr. Noorani and apparently he was booked for almost two months. I have a root canal that needs to be done and so I was obviously in tons of pain. They tried to have me go with another dentist at the office. Due to my horrible experience with bad dentists I did not want to take a chance and I told them to just give me Noorani's next available appointment. I waited just to get a call the day before that my appointment is cancelled. The office KNEW i was in pain and that I waited for this dentist yet I get a call almost two months later with them trying to throw the same dentist that I initially declined. I was extremely upset as I was in tons of pain but I gave it another chance (people make mistakes right?). The front desk lady said she would book me for a consultation appointment (with a different dentist a week and a half later) to just view it so they can prescribe me medication for pain control/antibiotics and then the Monday afterwards would give me my appointment with Noorani in the morning. The first Monday comes around for my consultation and I was still out of town for work, I call to let them know and ask them if they can just do the consultation on the same day (Noorani appointment) and ill get through the pain till then. She then tells me I never booked your appointment for next Monday. When I asked why she said "I wasn't sure if you wanted it". So you booked me for the consultation on Monday but didn't book the main appointment that I have been waiting for over 2 months (close to three now) with the busiest dentist in the world?! She then tells me my first appointment wasn't a consultation and Dr. Noorani was going to start the procedure... I had never been more confused in my life. I was completely silent over the phone and then she gives the final blow by saying that Dr. Noorani has also said he will only do the root canal if I let him also do the crown!!!?? This was something we spoke about the first day I called and they specifically knew I was going to another dentist for my crown and he is a dentist that doesn't have an issue with it. BUT ALL OF A SUDDEN he wants to do my crown which is very expensive almost $1000 over my primary dentist. By far my worst experience ever from a medical professional. You would hope that people in this field care about your medical needs and at-least stay true to their word. Calling a patient 2 months later the day before an appointment to cancel and making sudden ultimatums is completely unethical and to be frank upsetting. Man, I feel a little better now. A gem in Lawrenceville, GA. A wonderful staff with a clean office and very professional doctors that are prepared to give it their best. Also, if you're afraid of dentists, they offer sedation but they are so careful you won't need need it. They are my go-to office and love seeing them to just take care of my teeth. Hard to find a dentist that I can say I trust - this is definitely an office I place my full trust into their hands. This comes from someone who had a root canal done here. They are incredible I had not been to a dentist in 17 years and was terrified I was at a the point where the pain was so been I was in urgent care. When I called they heard the pain in my voice got me in next day ( I called late) when I arrived they helped calm me down and talked me through everything. They were booked solid but when they saw the pain I was in the slid me in for emergency tooth extraction (3 wisdom teeth and a molar) and a double root canal. They have me 4 small pills and I woke up 6 hours late almost pain free. Although everyone their was great I want to say thank my doctor and hygienist and the billing manager. read more

The staff here is amazing. I waited less than 5 minutes for my scheduled deep cleaning with Madeline before she came to get me She is very pleasant and our small talk never seems forced. I needed to get numbed up, so she called in for a doctor (they use a personal radio system so patients never hear announcements over the intercom which I feel adds to the calming nature of this place). The doc showed up, did her thing (again, very pleasant) and during the whole treatment were constantly asking about my discomfort - but there was none because the entire staff, especially Madeline, are amazing! read more

I have been a patient here for years but as of lately I'm reconsidering. They are quick to take your payment but very slow to issue refunds. You could have a $500 credit & they would still ask you to make a $20 payment. The more I call to ask about monies owed they seem to get shorter & shorter with me. I have received conflicting information from each person about how refunds are issued. I really don't care about "the how" at this point I just want it issued! It leaves me to wonder if they are indeed sending in the charges to the ins co for an "estimate" BEFORE requesting payment?! Secondly, I nervously waited 1 week & 2 days to receive a call back from my dentist about a "concern" from a extraction.I called again on yesterday to request that he give me a call in which he did that afternoon. I should not have to repeatedly call about a concern. I can't say for sure if it was the messenger or the recipient. In spite of the above... The office is nice, clean, & the wait time is great! The back office staff are caring, & friendly!! Honorable mentions are Mercedes, Reggie, Madeline, & Alex! Thank you for your kindness! You make it hard to walk away w/o giving it another chance. Beware and stay away. My experience here was so terrible I am still suffering 8 months after my procedure. My lower tooth #31 was painful and needed a root canal but for some reason my regular dentist couldn't numb it so he referred me to this practice and my nightmare began. When I went for my consult I was told by Dr. Noorani that I had several issues going on in my mouth and that I should work on them asap. I should have just had that one tooth pulled but I believed them and said ok. I was ushered into their billing office and told the cost would be $5000 and upwards. I was encouraged to open a care credit card. I was to return to have 5 teeth worked on that Dr. Noorani said were urgent. On the day of the procedure my mouth was kept open for 5.5 hrs and I was sedated so I had no clue. I just remember waking up with the worst pain of my life. I thought its coz I had so much work done. My pain wouldn't calm down no matter what I did and 10 days later I was on round the clock pain medication. I had three temporary crowns so when I called the office telling them I felt my head and jaw were splitting I was told its because of the temporary crowns and the pain would go away once my permanent ones were fit which was 2 weeks away! I went in for the permanent crowns but anyone touching my teeth was sending stabbing pains into my head. My uncle who is a dentist in NYC told me to ask if my mouth was kept open the entire 5.5 hours and the nurse at Center for Cosmetic and Sedation Dentistry said yes. When the dentist came in I asked him why was I not told of this and to expect my jaw and subsequent joint to hurt. He flat out told me I was predisposed to this and that my mouth wasn't kept open. I knew this was not true and I knew at this point this office is about making money off people in pain. He insisted I needed a full mouth guard another $1000 and more work another $7000 worth!!! I was in so much pain I did agree to get a partial front guard that they made at the office for me for $250. 2 months after the procedure my #31 tooth which I went to him for in the first place was still hurting along with the 4 other teeth he had worked on so there was no way I was going to allow him to do anything else. I suffered in pain for 2 more months before getting a second and third opinion. I was told that its never a good idea to work on so many teeth at once if a patient is considered predisposed to tmj. I didn't have any jaw pain or clicking or problems before Dr. Noorani worked on me so I believe it is complete bs that I was predisposed but its my word against this practice. I went back to Dr Noorani and requested that he refund my money since I am now in pain and need to have more work done to correct my jaw pain. He told me he will not refund any money for work done. He refused to acknowledge that my jaw pain was a result of his keeping my mouth open and causing stress on my jaw and joint. I have no recourse except my review and word of mouth which I intend to exercise fully. The new practice I now go to fixed all my teeth in $1000 and did my mouth guard for $750 so way under $7000!!! I still suffer from the tmj pain if I chew anything harder than a potato chip...its still hard for me to chew on my left side without feeling pain. I need to take over the counter pain medication now and then when it flares up. The worst thing is once you get tmj pain it doesn't completely go away. I hope no one else has to go through the pain I did and loose over $5000, payments for which I am still making payments to care credit while Dr. Noorani and his practice have washed their hands off me :-(((. read more

My daughter had a filling recently, and her tooth continued to hurt. When we took her back in Dr. Nurani indicated the bite was off. He proceeded to grind part of the tooth down. My daughter was in so much pain, that she began to cry. He didn't offer any kind of sedation, which is shocking, given the name of the practice. He simply said "sorry, we're almost done". If we go back, my daughter will not be seen by Dr. Nurani. read more

The Center for Cosmetic and Sedation Dentistry is by far the best dentist I have ever been to. I had to have a few things done to my teeth when I came into their office and they have always taken care of me. I have the same dental assistant call me every three months for my cleaning and I get the same hygienist. They are ALWAYS so nice, whether it is on the phone or in the office. They have the latest equipment and the office is clean, there is complimentary cookies and water and they have a nice waiting area. They are also so good about getting me in for an appointment since I travel so much. I had to have a filling and they squeezed me in so that I wouldn't have to come back! Love this place and would recommend it to anyone. I drive from Buckhead to come see them....they are worth it! read more

After going in very nice Oriental denist, I'm sorry I do not know her name. I'm finding out that I needed to replace a bridge. But when I made the appointment to come in I did not realize that the dentist would change to dr. Noorani. He was unable to do the bridge and told me that there would be no charge but they would charge the insurance company. Then I received the Care Credit bill for the full amount of the bridge over $3,000. After calling the office and telling them what dr. Noorani had said they were going to credit my bill. But when I received the next bill from Care Credit. There was a $300 charge and a late fee after calling the office for numerous times I asked to speak with dr. Noorani. He then told me that he had not said that that he had said did it would be credited on my next procedure. This is not true. After such an ordeal I would not use this company again. Changing the rules in the middle of the game is unacceptable to me. I would be very careful using this company. They do not stand behind what they say read more
