There were many companies around the country advertising online and a number of local companies that sell bath shower glass door enclosures. But we had difficulty finding area companies that would provide wall cabinet glass or that would come to us and take measurements. We stumbled upon C&C Glass and Mirror on Yelp and couldn't be more pleased. (https://cncglassandmirror.net/). The owner, Ben, responded immediately and came to us in Maryland the next working day, arriving on time as scheduled. He also called and texted to let us know his status and ETA. We explored different design elements, including bubble and wave designs for the wall cabinet glass door inserts and the thickness options for the shelves. Ben worked patiently with us as we finalized our selection, advising us of the pros and cons of different options, and giving us multiple estimates. We finally decided on low-iron shatterproof glass. Ben was very quick coordinating with the materials suppliers and giving us the final estimate. He came out a second time for the down payment, remeasured and followed-up to gave us an estimated delivery date. When the materials arrived earlier than expected he rearranged his schedule to accelerate the install date. This was a huge help as we were living out of boxes during the renovation and did not want to unpack until all the work was done. Ben did an excellent job delivering and installing the glass in the midst of inclement weather. This included an additional trip to Home Depot during the install to get better quality anchors. Because of the limited number of companies in our area who were willing to come out to measure for a job this small, we could not compare pricing. But we think the price was fair and can recommend this company with no reservations. Note: According to the website, this company installs and repairs all types of glass, including not only glass cabinet fronts and shelves, but shower doors, windows and other glass.

A call to their Chantilly office, Sheryl had Joe scheduled for a consult the next day. Our vision: a sliding glass door to replace a pair of windows, allowing backyard access. Elimination of the adjacent window paned entry door and egress, enlarging our family room living space. From our vision, Joe proposed an alternative, balancing remaining windows and transom with a custom size ProVia sliding glass door. His revisions made significant enhancement to the room's footprint and allowed us to move forward with replacement our front entry door. Here again, with my general vision, Joe brought his professional guidance and we had selections made in minutes. Our new ProVia entry door... I've never made a change to our home that has had as many compliments or requests for referral. From here, we need to thank Sheryl for her patience and professionalism accommodating scheduling adjustments, of which there were several. Short review: hiring Construction Systems of Virginia is the hardest I've ever had to work for a…read morejob I was paying somebody else to do. Between missed self-imposed deadlines, poor workmanship, and major mistakes, completing the project to satisfaction took constant vigilance on my part and a general knowledge of construction techniques I felt lucky to have, but would've left someone less experienced with sometimes unsafe conditions in their home. Overall, the project was completed, but it took significant effort, time, and money on my part and, as a result, I wouldn't recommend anybody to hire Construction Systems of Virginia. The final straw for me to write this review is that one of the two patio doors I had installed by CSOVA started peeling on the door jamb after only a year or two. I reached out to CSOVA to ask for a receipt so I could file a warranty claim with the manufacturer. They had no receipt. I asked for a statement or some kind of paperwork that I could send to the manufacturer. They said they would send it but have never followed up despite asking for it multiple times. My project was large in scope and took five months. I hired CSOVA via Patrick Mullen to repair the back exterior wall of my townhouse after we discovered mold on the inside. It's difficult to be concise with all the things that went sideways on this project so here's my top ten things that went wrong: 1. They installed an outlet without an electrical box 2. They didn't initially replace the piece of sheathing that caused our mold problem until I noticed it 3. They boarded up our laundry and bathroom exhaust vents, until I pointed it out. 4. They painted over our fireplace bricks when installing the mantle which was not requested nor inside the scope of work. 5. They bought the wrong insulation materials twice even though the brand was specifically listed in the contract 6. Materials were ordered late and delayed parts of the project 7. Siding repairs were mismatched for a different style that our HOA explicitly didn't allow. I had sent CSOVA our HOA terms. 8. They reattached our downspouts without the proper drain adapter (as it was before) 9. The brand new patio door they installed still leaked water after multiple repair attempts. 10. The work crew, on several occasions, breached the mold containment zone that the mold remediation company said not to breach. This list doesn't even include the lack of diligence on finish details that would indicate a professional install: wall and outlet plates not removed prior to painting (and when I did it myself for the 2nd coat, they were reinstalled immediately after painting before it could dry); a gallon paint can I supplied mangled to the point it had to be discarded; three different colors of caulk on the exterior of my door frame; mismatched screws on the hinges of a brand new patio door; a missing bracket on one downspout but not the other; different trim pieces for the same type of exhaust vent literally side-by-side; and probably more that Ive forgotten or yet to discover. All said and done, I cannot recommend CSOVA. I leave two stars because I do appreciate that Patrick always had a good attitude, was open to addressing the issues, and accommodating with scheduling. In the end, the work simply was not of quality without tremendous personal effort and time.

The color recommendations Patrick gave for wall/trim colors and fixtures were a subtle way to elevate and bring attention to the details, such as selecting pearl for the extensive crown molding to give it a shine. The shiplap ceiling and walls helped to create the airy, farm house feel we were aiming for. I took a lot of the design expertise of Owner Patrick. He recommended we add in the wainscoting to give the kitchen dining area an elevated, cozy feel. He also recommended we paint the ceiling and walls of the green room to give it a moody feel- At first I was skeptical but now cannot picture it any other way. He had the idea of combining the mudroom bricks with the shiplap walls- which is truly just dreamy... This house now exceeds anything I could have ever dreamed up. Patrick also gave multiple tile options and design ideas until we finally landed on our perfect match. I appreciated his willingness to work with my need to "see things" laid out before picking options. He provided multiple sample coats of paint options, laid the tile and floor choices next to each other so all I truly had to do was point my finger. The bathrooms now feel like I am stepping into a spa each day. Communication was huge as with any big project there are so many moving parts and changes, so I appreciated his quick responses and willingness to make adjustments as needed. While I have so many more positive things I could say, I will let their high quality work speak for itself with pictures.

Their office has been very communicative regarding estimates and scheduling. The crew of guys that came out to do repairs today was professional and expedient. I wish I had taken more "before photos" to show the full scope of work done, but we had a hole from dog door in our living room to the outdoors completely filled in and re-sided. Our siding is older so they weren't able to find a complete match, but it's pretty darn close and we're very happy with the work. We also had drywall/ceiling repaired around a new electrical panel we recently had installed and some outdoor siding repair done to a hole left by an old electrical box. Now I can't wait to get the painters out next week! We are so happy with the progress on our home.

I purchased $2.7M home from Enhanced Homes (EH) in August 2024. After 15 months, workmanship has…read moreproven to meet only minimum building code, leaving me with major post-purchase costs. I've spent thousands of hours and ~400% more money completing unfinished or omitted items a reasonable $2.7M home buyer expects. Sod Grass Failure from Hidden Construction Debris ~$20 K +13 weeks During construction I saw EH's landscaper laying sod on clay mixed with construction debris--concrete, nails, pipe, glass, and rocks. Despite immediate notice, EH refused to fix. The grass looked fine through a mild spring but died once summer heat baked the debris. Seven lawn specialists confirmed roots burned by heated concrete and lack of soil depth. Correct replacement required removing debris, adding topsoil, and resodding (~$20K). EH dismisses this as "not a warranty item" and claims "it passed county inspection" and "looked green for ten months." True but irrelevant, inspection only verifies appearance that day; the root system was doomed from the start. Wet Bar $6K+4weeks Original plans included a wet bar near the dining room. EH refused, saying installing it required moving a nearby HVAC grill, a task requiring minimal effort. After closing, we resolved the grill at no cost but paid $5,714 and 4 weeks of work to add the wet bar ourselves. Frozen Pipes & Ineffective Insulation $5K+4 weeks The Finished Room Over Garage (FROG) stayed 49F last winter because garage ceiling was poorly insulated. EH declined to pay extra ~$963 for adequate foam during construction. We paid $5,124 to remedy. The uninsulated FROG toilet drain froze. EH initially refused to fix it for $200, then relented after weeks of debate. FROG bathtub base had no insulation or plywood wall, exposed directly to winter air via soffit vents. Electrical $3K+2 weeks Every light switch was on/off. We spent $3,521 and much time installing smart dimmers EH could have added for extra $963. Another case of EH cost cutting during construction that costs buyers ~300% + time later. Internet Cables 2 weeks Ethernet cables were left unterminated without RJ45 ends, preventing internet access until we paid technician to add connectors. The structured-media enclosure wiring box was incomplete; we paid to fix it. EH would not do either item. The underground conduit meant to protect the buried internet line to the utility pole was never installed. When asked, EH owner Ryan Fubini said, "I offered a guy cash to install conduit, but he wasn't interested." Predictably the unprotected cable was later cut by a landscaper, damage conduit would have prevented Builder Response Rather than fix issues Mr. Fubini responded by warning of "legal consequences" for posting reviews and sent an inaccurate, unprofessional message to my wife, which she pointedly refuted. Virginia's anti-S-L-APP laws protect truthful consumer reviews and allow recovery of costs if sued. I've been copied on emails from other EH buyers to Fubini reporting similar concerns, yet Fubini continues to claims I'm his only dissatisfied owner. EH cites many five-star ratings, but they are for small remodel jobs, not full new-home builds. Initially I gave testimonial to buyer who bought $2.5M EH home; Fubini never thanked me Summary Tradespeople who built our house appear to be skilled, by lack formal oversight, project management and quality control. EH leadership prioritized speed and cost-cutting over reasonable finishes, quality checks, problem-solving, and warranty. Every problem follows the same pattern: EH spent the minimum to pass inspection, deny responsibility afterward. EH's constant defense: "it passed Arlington County inspection" misses the point. Passing inspection only meets minimum legal standards at that moment. A luxury builder should exceed them, not hide behind them For anyone considering EH, hire rigorous inspector to check sq ft, structural, mechanical, insulation, finishes, and soil quality before closing. Our house looked impressive at closing, but EH's minimal-standard approach created major costs for us later

I had these guys out new siding on my home in November. Worst job ever. I am having it all redone…read moreby another company because it was basically falling off my house just two months after it was installed. These guys tried to rush the job. Didnt pay attention to detail. Broke the siding in several places and left it like that. Very sloppy job nit to mention they never said they were subcontracting the job and another company came to do the siding. Worst decision i ever made and most costly because now im having to have it all redone by a more qualified company.

Confirmed during the call they serviced my area and provided my address and contact information. Appointment was setup but no one came during the time. Called to see if they were running late/something came up and the person that answered at first couldn't find the appointment. Once they found it, they stated they would call me back after speaking with the person and reschedule. Never received a call back. I called back at the end of the day but no one picked up. The next week I called several times on different days but no one picked up. I eventually put in a request on their website to see if they would respond via email, but got no response. Called twice today; same result. I put in a request on Yelp and it was immediately responded to stating unable to service. I'm not sure what is going on but I will move on to a different company. Since they did not show up for the appointment, no estimate or work was provided/done.
