The hotel makes it easy to tip they leave cards with their names and you can look them up and they have a photo of who they are which is great. The day we stayed in we swapped towels and they were very nice to my son. The breakfast was decent and they kept it stocked. Loved they had a bunch of items and my son was addicted to the waffles wish they had items to put on them but I'm sure I can bring next time I come. There was waffle maker, multi choice of cereal, milk, juice, coffee, tea, apples, biscuit and gravy, egg and sausage, bread, beagle, mini danish, muffins and packets of grits and oatmeal to make. We will stay here again if we go back to that area. The spot is perfect for a long or short stay as it has stores like food lion, Walmart cvs Walgreens and many restaurants in mostly walking distance. The price was great too. Definitely recommend.

Baymont Eden was very pleasant and accommodating to me. I loved everything from the cleanliness of my room to the hotel Mascot who came to greet me with her purring. The shower had good pressure, the bed very comfortable and it was quiet!! Something I needed after a stressful day. Breakfast was hot and yummy. The coffee good and plentiful. Overall, a nice unexpected visit to this charming area.

At first glance I thought it was clean enough and my standards are low considering the price but roaches are not okay!! Roaches (saw 2) in my room, are never acceptable, during Covid or otherwise. Our particular room smelled like cigarette smoke so bad it was hard to breathe... had to air it out and bought some febreeze, helped a little. As far as I know Marijuana is still illegal in North Carolina but you wouldn't know it when you stay here, it is seriously strong on the outside of many rooms... I didn't complain about it but I am just wanting people to know what you are getting when you stay here. The tiniest bath tub I have ever seen in a motel before but I will say something nice, the shower worked, that water was hot.

First thing to note is the Eden Inn is considerably cheaper than the CHEAPO-lodge, but about $15/night! Sure, the other guy provides a 'free breakfast' - of vulcanized hard boiled eggs, yogurt, dried cereal and toast, but with my savings I was able to enjoy a hearty fresh-cooked breakfast at the Sirloin House located next door to the Eden Inn where $6 bought me a fresh made 2 egg, bacon, grits, buscuits & gravy and bottomless cup of coffee. I had a more substantial, cooked-to-order breakfast and still was $9 ahead of the game! But on to the motel itself - the Eden Inn is retro-chic and charming. The people in the office were courteous and friendly and very welcoming. The motel features an outside courtyard where you can enjoy an evening smoke and meet your neighbors - I had a few nice conversations in the evening there myself. The room was spacious (much larger than what the Econobox has) and well furnished with a king bed, two comfortable easy chairs, cable television, dressers, a table, and a microwave oven and large dorm-sized fridge. The bathroom had a shower stall, so if you're looking for a rub-a-dub-dub in the tub, you'd be S-O-L. The room was very clean and the furniture was in excellent shape and the bed was very comfortable; I slept well every night. I would very much recommend you give the Eden Inn Motel a try the next time you find yourself in the area. It's my Eden home-away-from-home; it should be yours too.
