The store is always well staffed and the selection is color coordinated and organized. If you are unable to locate your size, the saleswomen are great about trying to locate them for you. I deducted a star because of a few hiccups with shipped items. On one occasion, the wrong color jacket was sent. In the second instance, the address was keyed in incorrectly resulting in a one month delay. That said, Suzette F. (A manager) refunded the shipping cost and adjusted the item to allow for the current markdown which was 30% less. All in all, it is a great place to shop and is closer than the Aurora location.

I fall at the bottom of their size range and because of my height sometimes have a hard time finding clothes that fit, but I found two beautiful coats (one a Tall!) and an amazing dress, and the total for these three items was less than $130, which is what a new coat might cost at Land's End (the brand of one of the coats I bought here)! I will definitely be back, and will check out the second shop in Rockford when I'm there for the Japanese Gardens. (Which completely sucks! No public restroom made me have to cut my shopping trip short. If you're going to smell like a restroom, at least offer a restroom to your customers.) This is the closest Uniqlo to Indiana, so this is the one that I visited when I needed to replenish some of my winter basics. You know that HeatTech hits oh-so-good during the Midwest winters. It's also the only Uniqlo that I've been in that's two stories. It's big, and there's a lot of stuff! There's a map that shows you where the men's, women's and children's things are. The changing room is efficient, but if you have a shopping bag of stuff and you want to try something on, you need to leave the bag at the front desk. The check-out area is self-check-out, and you don't scan anything, but just place items in a bin. And then somehow, as if by magic, the bin knows what you placed inside it and it shows up on the screen. I heard an older gentleman say, "How does it know?" I don't know, my dude. But Uniqlo is that way. It's a forward-thinking place. Like all of the Uniqlo shops that I've visited, this one is well organized, clean and tidy. There are lots of people refolding shirts and making sure things look nice and appealing. One thing to note: This Uniqlo is in the middle of downtown Chicago, so there is zero parking near the store. I had to park in a parking garage for $40. So there's two pairs of leggings that went to parking! I didn't do any research on parking, though, so maybe there is somewhere else to park that's more economical. But Uniqlo is located near Millennium Park, so I have a feeling that wherever you park, it might be expensive.

This location is newly opened so we made the trip to the outlets to return the shirts and visit the store. The store is very modern and hip. Nice area to hang while others shop. Open concept shopping area with a good range of clothing and accessories. I didn't know they sold women clothing. I thought it was all men's. They had some cute women clothing, pretty conservative but makes sense they are essentially premium basic clothes. I like that ideas because fashion changes but the basics will always be the basics. Check the store out in person and remember they usually have good sales for first time customers.
