When I picked up the watch it was in a store envelope. I put it in my bag and ran another errand, then I went home. When I removed the watch from the envelope, I saw that the LCD crystal face (behind the hands) was damaged and cracked. I immediately called the store to tell them my watch was damaged in their care, they replied with deflection and dismissal. "I've been doing this for 35 years." "All I did was remove the back and replace the back." I repeated that the face of the watch was damaged and it was not damaged when I left it with them. Again, they reply with "I didn't do anything." They offered no apology. They did not ask to see the watch. They did not ask what they could do. They only stated "I don't know what to tell you. I didn't do anything."
