I had even explained to this salon that I want a hairstylist similar to the Master colorist I had at Ulta. This salon lied and told me that they do have a master colorist and an experienced hairstylist. The hairstylist I got was a very young lady who only had 2 years of experience of being a hairstylist and who did not know what she was doing. Not only did she not wash my hair, properly (after putting the color on me), but then she also did not even colored all of my roots (as I had specified in my initial phone call with the salon). I had mentioned all of my concerns to this front desk lady, who was smirking and giggling silently. Nobody was concerned enough to talk to me as a paying customer and it was very obvious that they only care about getting money. The owner of the place did not talk to me, at all. There seems to be no customer care in this place. Very rude and unprofessional. I would not recommend this salon at all

A mile or two down Main Street from our house is this little place called Salon Identity. I went in there once for an eyebrow wax (only $10.00 and she did an AMAZING job). I suggested he call them and find out the price for a haircut. He decided it was sufficient enough if it meant he was going to get a good haircut, and BOY, does he. He always goes to the same stylist - Tara, and she understands how finicky he is about his hair and she's always very patient with him, takes her time, and does a fantastic job. She even cleaned up his neckline and gave him a trim the week of our wedding so that he looked nice and fresh in his tux. Last night, I got my haircut by Tara for the first time and I am SO amazingly pleased at how it turned out. I had no idea it was going to look this good. She even showed me some styling tips to help me out with my new bangs and shorter 'do. The best part is that it only cost me $31.00!!! Absolutely unbelievable! I didn't know you could GET a good hair cut under $40.00. They'll accept walk-ins, but make an appointment today. You'll be so happy!

When I arrived, they did not have large cap wigs available to try on. They kept suggesting a topper which I had already explained I did not want. They cut tags out of wigs as another review said and are very sketchy when you ask what brand wigs they carry. They evade answering specific questions. They have "a book" to look through if you want to order something. I feel it is unwise to order from them as they will not disclose exactly what you are buying. I expected more service...measurements, explanations of different types of wig, different types of cap construction, and the pros and cons or even explaining what brands do or do not carry large cap sizes. They tried on several things which were all way too small...even the cap to hold my hair in was too small, gave me a headache and kept popping off my hair. I was told my hair was too slick...ummm... cause it's healthy and clean??? I don't have a lot but do take care of what I do have. I believe if you have zero knowledge of wigs and an average sized head, and you don't care to know what you are buying, this would be fine. If you are looking for education on different colors or brands or types of wigs available, this is not the best place. And if you need a large cap size, this is not the place to go.
