The stylist I was scheduled to see wasn't available but they said Caty was. The woman up front said she's good, she does her hair, and she had great hair. Caty was friendly and skilled. She really demonstrated the difference between just getting your hair cut and getting a really good cut. Last time I went to an inexpensive place where they just trimmed an inch or two off, and my hair looked the same. It didn't have that great feeling and look like when you go to a salon. It was just a little shorter. Caty knew what my hair needed to give it some lift and life. A quick blow dry with some product and I looked and felt so much better. Let me tell you, that was an enormous mistake! One stylist was nice to her clients and the other was rude and berated the client she had in the chair. He dared to ask her to cut his hair a little shorted (like he's used to). She snapped at him and refused to do it. That should have been my cue to get up and walk out. I was unlucky enough to end up with that seemingly angry person. I started with a, "Hi, how are you?". I got a stare down as a response. She spat out, "what are we doing?" I told her I wanted it cut to just below my shoulders and that I like long layers. She went off! She yelled at me about the disconnect between my top layer that someone at home must have cut for me and the rest of my hair and that I caused the under later to get thin. Hi, when you go almost a full year between cuts ALL of the ends get thin and look terrible. I asked for her recommendation and she said it had to go shorter. I was fine with that. When the cut was done, it was about 3 inches longer than anticipated. I guess I need to drop my shoulders that far down to get what I asked for???? She barely trimmed the top layer. I was not fine with her repeated shoving my head down into my chest, yanking out hair (even as I kept saying ouch), and poking me in the eye while she pretended to look away while drying my hair. I have thinning, perimenopausal hair and don't need someone helping me go bald by ripping out my hair. Do yourself a favor and RUN away from this place. I did call customer service and they are supposedly letting the "salon" owner know about the situation. I doubt I will hear from the owner. Now I have to find another extremely rare Saturday off to go have an actual professional fix this mess.

It's a nice, cozy little salon and the people are friendly. Veronica did my hair and it looks great! It feels healthy and looks so much better now. The prices are very reasonable as well. Of the four prescriptions we requested, three were either delayed or completely out of stock. I ended up canceling and going to the Walgreens at Wolfrum Road. I've never seen a Walgreens with such limited hours. Feels like this location is on the down slide. Hope they work it out; empty lots aren't good for property values.

Pharmacy tech Cat is always very nice and helpful and she was helping a co worker as well so it seems they have a good dynamic to working as a team and getting customers taken care of. They're also the only place that has the cherry laffy taffy so I frequently go to this one.
