Rebecca and the owner (can't remember her name!) who work here are both really sweet mature women who really try to do what you want, even if it's more modern (but not too crazy!). If you want a classic cut, carefully done (they take their time) by someone who genuinely wants to both make you look good and charm you with small town talk while they call you honey - definitely come here. Plus - it's inexpensive! Just make sure you leave extra time around the edges of your appointment because sometimes they can take a bit long. They do cuts and colors in their small shop.

Parking is generally convenient too (with the exception of peak events) with spots usually available on Main Street or in the lot behind Columbine Cafe, right across the street. I immediately fell in love with this salon! Offered a beverage, which I planned on cashing in on later but ran out of time, and told the stylists I wish I could stay and hang! Lots of good energy. Had an appointment with Amy to have my roots done. While she was very cool, I just don't think she…read morewas paying attention to my processing. She put on 25 volume and left it on me for a very, very long time (long enough to wash, cut, and blow dry another client she had in at the same time). When she finally washed me out, she said she needed to do a toner on it to tone it down. It actually took 2 toners (which I had to pay for each, of course). The end result is that my roots are MUCH blonder than the rest of my hair and the two toner applications appeared to have done nothing (or, at least, I wonder how bad it looked before!). Plus, the level of blond is nearly toe-head, which really looks awful on me and is not at all what I wanted. I just wanted my roots brought up to the rest of my hair. I am now debating going somewhere else for corrective color, but I am worried that my hair will just break. It is starting to break already. I look like crap!
