My layers were uneven and my previously thick bangs were sparse, uneven, and had hugh gaps. Fortunately, another stylist at another salon was able to tidy my cut so I can now ditch my baseball cap. My hair is still incredibly short but at least I can style my hair while waiting on my hair to grow. I reached out to Vintage twice and received no response. The artist did a great job, and I was very happy with the results. However, my experience with hair was not the same. For the price, I was not blown away with the outcome. I also noticed that the upstairs area, where hair services were done, felt a bit dirty and not very well maintained. I understand it is an older building, but cleanliness should still be a priority, and some areas felt a little grimy. Downstairs seemed much better kept, so the experience definitely felt inconsistent depending on the service. Overall, I would return for makeup, but I would not come back for hair services.

I recently moved to Charleston from South Florida and I have had a hard time finding a salon that worked for me. I couldn't be more pleased. Yesi took the time to really talk with me about what I wanted to do with my hair; leaving me confident with her assessment. She didn't try to push me into continuing to color and even encouraged me to give my hair a rest. She patiently explained how I could transition with semi-permanent and described how she could use low lights to help cover my gray. I also appreciated the extra time she spent talking with me about my hair coloring, given that I'd only come in for a cut. The cut and blow-out she gave me is just perfect. I have wavy frizzy hair which was layered too much. She quickly softened it up, leaving just enough layers to give me bounce and shape. The real test is always to see if my hair looks nice the next day. I am low maintence so I don't like to spend a lot of time on my hair so once I washed it at home I was surprised! This cut is perfect! It looks great even days after. I'm so happy to have found such a professional, friendly salon right here in Ladson. I will definitely return!
