I finally had to get in touch with management at BJs, where we ordered from. BJs was able to work with them to provide a date 2 weeks later. They did actually show up and put the swing set together. It was one person, and it took the entire day. (Would have taken my husband 30 years so this is good). While they did a good job in the end, it was a HUGE hassle with piss poor customer service!

Mr. Eckstrom was my project manager for a modular turn-key home. My contract was signed in March…read moreof 2025, with an expected move-in date for late August/Early September of 2025. The project has been greatly delayed and is so far over budget I'm afraid I can no longer afford the cost. Travis Eckstrom failed miserably at the very basics of construction from the start of the project: no on-site dumpster, no port-a-potty and no building plans on site. This resulted in violations from the local building inspector as well as rampant trash throughout the home from subcontractors. Mr. Eckstrom does not respond to emails, text messages phone calls or the company's messaging through the BuilderTrend site. He fails to update the schedule, get multiple bids from subcontractors. I fear my costs have been unfairly inflated due to his hiring subcontractors from across the state, as I pay or the expenses incurred when driving over 2 hours to my site. Many of the systems have failed the inspection process multiple times. The HVAC system has failed 3 times and still has large holes in the ductwork and the air conditioning is still inoperable. He failed to call for a drain tile inspection; consequently, it failed and had to be re-excavated. My initial line item estimates were so severely low-balled, my cost overruns are almost to $100K over budget and the house is still not completed. My project is almost a year over the original expected move in date, with no end in sight. Mr. Eckstrom has been removed as my project manager by the company, but the damage is done. My savings are depleted, the costs are insurmountable and the project defects and structural issues has greatly devalued the property values. My new project manager has to play catch up with all the code violations, failed inspections, cost overruns and construction defects occurring from Mr. Eckstrom's negligent management. The relationship with the County building inspectors is irreparably damaged due to the repeated mistakes and failures that have left the inspectors salty towards my project. I strongly encourage anyone considering using Mr. Eckstrom for a contractor to reconsider their choices.

I found Susan Sterling estate sales when needing to clear out a family home we were readying for…read moresale. I was looking for a company that was reliable, great communication, trustworthy and that would coordinate the final clean out once the sale was over at a low fixed cost(for clean out). I didn't want a referral who to use to clear out the home but wanted full coordination through the estate sale team. Susan called me back on a Sunday within five minutes of the email inquiry I sent. She didn't tell me what to expect from the sale(dollar wise) as it is unpredictable. We set an appointment for her to visit the house and she was on-time and from that point on the professionalism was stellar. I did call another competitor that was very well referred that never returned calls and I persisted with four different calls to both owners phones. At the very least you expect someone to call back and say they are not interested but with Sterling every communication was instantaneous. Sterling Estate sales completed the estate sale, advertising it, making sure people wore shoe covers to protect the carpets, coordinated the clean out and was on-site when the haul away arrived. I am only writing the review because it helped us out tremendously in so many ways and I wanted to take the time so that another person not knowing where to turn knows who to call. Sterling Estate sales has been around forever and also had many good google reviews. The sale is over and my check and logging of the items sold came right away, and again it couldn't have gone any better. It's hard letting someone you don't know have full access to your home as they prepare for an estate sale. That is another reason I took the time to write a review on Yelp where I tend to look for referrals if I don't know where to turn. Hope this helps someone else deciding who to use for an estate sale. I also liked she is affiliated with a Haul Away company that she is comfortable with and that was a nice flat fee at the end so I knew the price up front and that she used a company that takes care of the home when doing the final clear out. Went to their Estate sale today in an Upscale Neighborhood. Waited in line was second in the door…read more Walked in, picked up a designer leather bag and was told by a woman "that's mine! I'm buying it ". I said it's not marked sold and how could you have bought it, I was in before you? She then told me "everything in this pile is hers!" Again I asked "how?" She said she works for the estate sale company. When I told her that was so shady to do, she told me if I wanted the bag I could have it very snarky. I should have taken the bag. Several other people had the same experience with the same lady. I told the owner of the company and the employee when I was leaving that this was a terrible business practice. The employee got snippy and the owner defended her actions. Not only is she screwing the people who waited in line to buy, but the client who paid them to sell her stuff when she allows her employees to hold merchandise over until the next day and buy at the discounted rates.
