Sheetz continues to slide in both the food and service category, and so I am having to update my reviews for this company, as a whole. It's just OK now. The fresh menu is now tasteless, and has degenerated to such an extent that I no longer order their food, and am kind of upset about the overall cleanliness I have experienced during COVID. read more

I love this lcoation! Its always very clean, both inside and outside, even the bathrooms look fantastic every time I've needed to stop by. The staff historically, has always been very friendly and helpful in my personal experiences. There are days where I may go without stopping at other convenience marts, just because I know that I will be passing this Sheetz. Okay, I'm going to get slammed by people who only give 5 stars to "fine dining establishments." To me, 5 stars is whatever makes me happy... and this brand new Sheetz made me downright GIDDY! I felt like I had stepped onto the set of The Jetsons here... if the Jetsons had sets. The place is built around YOU, the CUSTOMER! Its all about offering you anything you could possibly want at this moment in time. You want a hot meal? A cold sammy? Fresh Baked doughnuts? A freshly spun Milkshake or Smoothie that you prepare yourself by pushing big shiny buttons and watching it get prepared behind the glass? How about a Soda Fountain that lets you pick a cup and mix your own crazy soda combinations, PLUS flavor shots! Want a strawberry flavor shot in your lemonade, or in your Iced tea? You got it! A cherry shot in your Mountain Dew? Go for it! They even have Nutrition Shakes! The coffee bar is just as varied. Every type of creamer, sweetener, coffee, you name it, hot, cold, or iced, they have it. Oh you came in for a bag of chips? They have what you want. Are you craving that candy that you used to eat when you were 12? Chances are it is here. A Salad, a piece of fruit? They have healthy options too! Its all that, PLUS every cold beverage you can imagine behind your standard food mart refrigerator doors. Want Wine or Beer? Step inside the Walk In Beer Cooler and choose from several varieties. Let me re-visit the Foods... they make things VERY GOOD! The slider burgers we were fresh hand-shaped burgers grilled to perfection. You can also get crispy or grilled chicken sammies, wings, Nachos, Burritos, Salads & Wrapz, Sub Sandwiches (hot or cold) and Pizza! Just walk up to the Computer Screen, punch in what you want, specifically down to the toppings (pickles? mayo? lettuce? ketchup? just check the box!) and you'll pick it up hot and fresh from a smiling employee after you pay. Oh yes, and they have low priced gasoline here too so your car also gets a treat. Need sunglasses or driving gloves? They are here too. Its a pretty awesome place and I'm glad to see this in Clayton, and it is really nice (and dangerous) that they are opening another one even closer to my home. It's quick and easy food when you need to order some fast food. The only problem is that they always and when I say always I mean there has not been a time when they haven't messed up my order. They will always mix up Southwest breakfast burritos with sausage or bacon breakfast burritos. read more

I travel a lot, and Sheetz stations are like automotive oases in the highway desert. I live a few minutes from this one, and I was way too excited when it was being built considering I don't eat the food or buy just about anything there except a drink and fueling up. However, the place is clean, the staff is great, and if I ever did decide I needed allergy medicine, a flashlight, razors, deep fried macaroni and cheese, and a case of cold beer I know I could find it all here. It must be the warm and fuzzy feeling I get from all the potentialities that keeps me coming back. read more

Never thought I'd be giving a review of a gas station but after having their fried fish sandwich on a hoagie roll and a chocolate shake, had to do it. I've had food from Sheetz up and down the coast & they never disappoint. The fish sandwich from the Clayton location was far better than any fast food chain, and the fried mac 'n cheese pieces are heavenly when you're craving something sinful. Its ridiculous how good their food is and that they have everything from gluten free chips to fruit cups, fresh fruit, medicinal products, candy, bread, well, you get the picture. And well, gas for your car lol, it's just a great place. Oh, and some money off my gas with my Sheetz card is a nice bonus. read more

My son and I stopped here to heat up our lunch before finishing a job. I noticed they had no microwave so I told my son we could either go somewhere else or eat the food at room temp. As we were sitting down the manager came over and offered to beat our food up in the break room. She was very polite and made sure that my sons food wasn't to hot to eat.
