Clean. Friendly staff. Even the nachos were good! Enjoyed my visit while I waited for new tires for my Tahoe across the street.

Sheetz isn't gourmet fare but provide a solid variety of made to order and grab & go items. This place can get packed especially during the lunch rush but staff work very hard to try to get people in and out as fast as possible. Highly recommend ordering ahead of time. Even if you don't have access to a computer or phone during day you can always pre-order well in advance so you're not waiting 10 minutes or so for your order. Don't know why more people don't take advantage of this unless they enjoy standing around aimlessly. A downside is getting in and out at peak times and parking can be tough but require a lit bit of navigating. On the plus side though they have a free air pump for your tires. Even for those who may not be huge sheets fans I can tell you the food is an enormous upgrade of similar type places further South which offer gas and food.

Not sure how long it has been open but the place feels like it is still fairly new which is even more of a compliment if it has been open for a while. If you are in the area and looking to use your Harris Teeter fuel points or you just like BP/Family Fare in general, this is a good place to stop and refuel. Not sure what else to say about this place. Spacious parking and ample room to move around in the parking lot. Fridges are nice and cold and the snack shelves are well-stocked!

He asked me if I paid for my grandsons drink. I asked him to repeat it because I could not believe what he was saying and inferring. I then showed him my bag with snacks and stated the I am not a thief and can pay for whatever I want. He asked me again. At this point I went into the store and asked the person who checked me out if he charged me for the drink. His response was he did. He said he did not know why the other worker approached me. I was not offered any type of apology. Being an African American, a woman, a grandmother, nurse, and business owner, I realized that I was just profiled. This action does not sit well with me. I hope this never happens to anyone else.

Back in the day, a gentleman ran that place like he owned it and it was the Taj Mahal. He was the most friendly soul, would talk your ears off, but that place was in tip top shop. Not sure what ever happened to him, but it is such a shame that he is no longer there. He was fantastic. The manager today is not bad at all, in fact he is a nice guy, but I think he has been dealt some challenges that I am not sure he is able to properly deal with a a higher level. 1) the old fountain drink machine was fine. It always worked. There were never issues and in fact, it gave the best soda to syrup ratio of any machine at any Circle K, and they have the best sodas. Today, that drink machine stays more broken than a McDonalds soft serve machine and that is saying something. I am not sure why they replaced it, but what they replaced it with was apparently pulled from the wreckage of the titanic. Please, service this machine, clean it, and properly maintenance and stock it. Even when it is working, there is perpetually an out of order sign on it for a particular drink. 2) Uplift and clean the store. Often times it is disheveled, the bathrooms are out of order or trash needs to be handled. Again, I do not own, manage, or attend in a service station today, so I am unaware of the challenges it faces today, but my father, and grandfather before him, owned a full service gas station through my formative years. I know it is not easy to have the right people in the right places, but this one is in desperate need of some tender loving care. I hate this. I truly loved this place back in the day.

My partner always gets the sausage egg and cheese. I have had both, and both are AMAZING! The biscuits here are BEYOND EXCEPTIONAL! For lunch, the bacon cheeseburger with lettuce, tomato and mayo is amazing, but the regular cheese burger is just as great. Recently, they have started offering BBQ plates. Let me tell you, the Brunswick stew is ON POINT, and the BBQ is delicious. The hush puppies are great, as is the slaw. More importantly, the service is always both a delight, and stellar. From the owner behind the register, who always remembers our order, the fist bump, and the great attitude, to all those wonderful ladies preparing the food (and I mean wonderful, jovial, and go beyond the extra mile), this place is a hidden gem. Angie has become like one of our besties, and frankly, they are all great, but her attitude and fun loving self makes every trip there enjoyable! When it comes to ambiance, what you see is what you get. It is a service station grill, but it is always clean, tidy, and welcoming to customers. There is a lot of foot traffic, and always a busy pace in there. Based on the number of folks they are always serving in there, you can tell that others feel exactly as I do about the breakfast and lunch, and more importantly, the service. I do not think any of them in there meet a stranger. You must check this place out! It will certainly exceed your expectations - and did I mention... THOSE BISCUITS! OMG - now back to eating mine! My first go to is a chili and slaw dog and the price here is right. I got two for just over $3.00 and that's a deal in my book. I could have gotten it as a combo with fries and a drink, but just the dogs was fine by me. Their hot dogs are the red kind, the chili had a little bit of a bite so glad it wasn't smothered all over it, and the cole slaw was crunchy. All and all it was pretty good. The menu is varied from choices of breakfast items served from 6A-10:30A to lunch sandwiches, hot dogs, burgers, and sides like fries and such. Everything is made to order. The food comes up quick and the staff is ever ready to serve the customer. They've got a few booths inside along the window that were nice and clean. What more could you ask for?
