While using the restroom, I brought in a fountain soda cup to refill afterward. Upon returning to the counter, I was approached by a staff member (who I later learned was the manager) who made a disparaging remark about my cup not being from their store. When I went to check out, he directed the cashier to void my transaction and charge me a higher price for the refill, apparently because he disapproved of the cup's brand. Setting aside the fact that this cost me less than a dollar, what stood out was the way it was handled. Rather than addressing the situation professionally or discreetly, the manager chose to make a snide comment and then use his position to override a routine transaction. This kind of behavior is unprofessional and unwelcoming, and it reflects poorly on the store's management. I won't be returning to this location. It's disappointing that a matter of fifty to seventy-five cents was treated as an opportunity to embarrass a customer rather than simply process a routine refill. I'd encourage corporate to look into how this manager interacts with customers, as this is not the kind of experience that should represent the brand.

I ended up coming through this area a few times and with this Sheetz visit, I think I completed the few that were in this area. I usually need to stop part way on my way home to use the facilities or get fuel. For today's visit I needed the facilities and maybe some food (I hadn't eaten at that point). This is as near to a brand new store as you can get. The lot is huge, on a corner at a busy intersection. Along with a large lot, the store is large as well. Inside, it has that truck stop feel that some of the newer locations has. Big, bright, nice sized seating area. I went in and tapped the screen to place my order. While it is being prepared I make my way to the facilities. The facilities were immaculate, which were a bit of a surprise given how busy the store was. The food was as I expected, and missed. I made sure to get enough to enjoy on my ride and then for when I got to my destination. But before I left the lot, I took a few minutes to enjoy the night air. I putzed around outside for a few minutes and took in a phone call before jumping back into the car to head the rest of the way home.

I was nearing E and knew I wouldn't be making the next major area for fuel and having just passed the Hancock area I needed to pull off. Unless you live off this exit from I-70, there is really nothing here besides this business. It is a welcomed sight when you are in need. The Exxon serves as more than a gas station. There is fuel for trucks as well and in the very near future there will be charging stations for your electric vehicles. They were installing them during my visit. Being that there isn't any competition here for fuel, they kind of set the prices. They are fair, but not the best. Ample enough pumps when they are not doing maintenance on what they have. When I was here, they were working on the awning, taking out a few of the pumps as they made progress. I used pay at the pumps. It felt like I wasn't able to get out of here fast enough. Before I could even get out of my vehicle and swipe my card there was already somebody behind me. The pump took a bit, but soon enough I was done and back in my vehicle. Easy to get back onto the Interstate once I was done. This will be on my short list when it comes to places for fuel on my trips.

They have a very nice fresh produce area. The isles are plenty wide. The meat area has a nice selection and is usually well stocked. The bakery is always fresh and. Generally I'd say that Costco has better selections at a higher quality. The one feature that has Costco beat is the scan and go feature on their app. I can scan each item from my phone and it generates a shopping cart. When I am ready to pay I can pay right on the app with any card I have on file. It creates a QR code on my phone and I can skip the lines and walk straight out the door! There is a scanner before the exit that counts the items in your cart and if it matches your receipt the attendant just waves you on. If they're is a discrepancy the attendant will scan the QR code on your phone and might rescan to confirm the purchase which is really quick. Word of advice. Remove personal items like purses, umbrellas or jackets from the cart before going through the exit scanner because the computer will count them as well and that can slow your exit.

It clearly was not so I took it to a different shop and they just laughed stating I had 6 more months atleast on them (I got new tires after 5 months). The second time they denied the tire rotation stating I had some missing rubber on my sidewall. First off it looks like someone took a screwdriver and stabbed the tire (definitely was not like that before I came to Midas); no other damage just a quarter size chunk.
