We have been customers of this location since it opened in 2001 and were happy when it was renovated. It has been in DECLINE and SO SO GROSS for the last 2 years. FILTHY and food and trash left in Dining Area for DAYS. The night crew spend most of their shift standing outside Smoking and Vaping. They told us 3 times we would HAVE to wait for Our Food. We were left ALONE in Store until other Customers came in the door not surrounded by the 4 Staff SMOKING like Chimneys. NONE Of them washed their hands. The elderly 2 women with grey hair were then YELLING inappropriately at a CUSTOMER in Drink area. The one kept going out to auto in front of doors as we waited longer for food. A man came in she said is her husband and she just talked to him long time as we were told they do EVERY day when he comes to trade off auto with her and their ADULT son who sits in the auto for Hours every day & that she was so busy taking stuff to that car instead of waiting on paying Customers! This is a Family place and we do NOT need the LOUD rap music with bad lyrics or Shirts with inappropriate on front of them. Why are they NOT in Sheetz shirts ?!?!? We hear inappropriate language including profanity from this night crew who leave the trash FULL and overflowing, drink areas with spills on floor and counter and out of of lids, cups and long straws while they Smoke and goof off acting like they are in high school. This place has poor management to allow this and the trash to NOT be changed for days inside and outside. Staff should be FIRED for cussing Customers and being disrespectful to Customers including telling Customer They will JUST have to wait while they smoke! It is safety risk to have ALL Employees OUTSIDE the Store! It is GROSS to come 1st thing in morning or late and have FOOD trash from hours before or DAY before. The 2 Grumpy grey haired women need to stay home if they can not be friendly and helpful. We do not need to hear their arguing or have our children subjected to their bad attitudes, smoke by doors which is AGAINST The LAW in VIRGINIA to SMOKE by Public Doors as EMPLOYEES at this Location do. Our Friend with Oxygen can NOT go near that door after pumping his Gas. WAWA could come in and show this Sheetz how to treat Customers and have a CLEAN store......... read more

This Sheetz is fantastic. Picked up a breakfast sandwich that apparently was under the heat lamp too long. Rachael, the woman working the register, told us that we wouldn't be charged for it, and that if I wanted, would give me a fresh made one free of charge. I thanked her and told her no worries on the new one. While sitting in the car, I opened the sandwich that did turn out to be the consistency of cement. Shortly after, there was a knock at my window. Rachael was there with a fresh sandwich in hand. Give this woman a raise for customer service! It was a nice gesture and set the tone off well for the whole day! read more

The teenagers who work here TALK TALK TALK and don't pay any attention to what they are doing. They are, for the most part, LOUD and unprofessional. They don't seem to understand they aren't there to have fun. When you finally get your completed order, part of it has been sitting there until its cold and unappetizing. Some of the people in charge join in with this ! The music sucks too and is way too loud often. The manager people don't make much of an attempt to correct the above situation, and seem CLUELESS as far as teaching them. I know they are just high school kids, and not ALL of them act up, but the ones who do need guidance. There is PLENTY of room for improvement. They need to be taught and corrected toward being more professional and customer service oriented. The self service machines are usually on the blink too. Best to get rid of those since they are messing up often. There ARE good people there and they should be an example for the younger ones who just cut up all the time. Stopped in for coffee and a breakfast sandwich. The coffee was pretty bad and they burned the croissant. They were super busy when I was there as it was New Years. This may explain the subpar experience. Line was super long and lots of people were getting food. read more

The restrooms have toilets without mechanical flushing. Every toilet had something left for the next user. Really gross, then to top it off, dribbling water-saving faucets and that foamy soap dispenser that makes you wonder just how clean the employees' hands can be. Too often my food order is wrong - either missing ketchup or the wrong sandwich, so check your order before you leave. You will have to shout over the counter to get anyone to fix it, though. Still, the location is very convenient and the best gas around. read more

Stopped in here during a recent winery visit for a group bio break and for refreshments - hot coffee, cold bottled water, and some assorted snacks. Of course you can order custom made-to-order breakfast and lunch sandwiches and burgers, use the ATM, and gas up the vehicle. #Sheetz read more

I used to stop here every few weeks on my roadtrips to use the bathroom and get a milkshake. The milkshakes started getting worse and worse. Last week I stopped here and the chocolate shake tasted like like straight heavy cream. It was like sludge and tasted so fatty. Today i thought id give it another chance and ordered a different milkshake. It was full of this grainy chocolate that felt like drinking flour. I threw this one away too. Stop in from the drive back and had the BLT was good wish the toast was toasted more. We also had the oero milkshake and Chicken sandwhich w/fries and drink total cost about 14 dollars. On a scale of 1 to five she gave her milkshake a 3 b/c they added a chunk of ice. Chicken sandwhich with fries n drink 4.99 was a pretty good deal and hit the spot he said. read more

I have been ordering MTO salads from the Madison Sheetz for awhile and had been extremely pleased. However, yesterday I stopped in and made my same order and noticed that the container was only half full. I was alarmed at this because now that I'm paying over $11 for a salad with double meat on it, why is the container only half full? I can go to Chick-fil-A and get a big salad for $8 and some change. I was told that Sheetz personnel have been doing salads wrong and they have supposed to be done by weighed portions. The guy and girl working behind the counter told me "sorry about your luck". I sad no, sorry you all just lost a customer. I am truly sorry that Sheetz has gotten to the point that they are rationing food in weighted portions. I would hate to think that I was the cause of their business going under because they couldn't afford their food bill cost. BTW, after 47 years of government service, I have never treated my customers in such a disrespectful way. read more

Half the customers in the station weren't wearing masks. There is no enforcement or suggestion from employees to do so. Cashier had mask only halfway on. No hand sanitizer. Food staff we're wearing them at least. Didn't feel like a safe place during COVID times to be. read more

Really like that the food is made to order. Chicken sandwich, onion rings and salads are my usual go to as they're fresh and/or hot every time. The MTO coffee and smoothie selections are also a good choice for a pick-me-up. read more
