Im an elderly lady who's son had an emergency and was hospitalized and I had to have his car towed out of Gates Park driveway. Im also disabled not like it would matter to JOE the driver. He was as rude a human being as I have ever met. Job was paid for before he arrived so I didn't try to stiff on payment. I asked him to roll it off on yhe front driveway at my other son's house and he decided to park it in brand new cement in yhe back of his home by his shed. What could I do? Not one damn thing. My car stalled while on a road trip. I called and was told someone would be there to tow in 30 minutes. 90 minutes later they show up to tow me, the driver seemed to have no clue what he was doing- dragging my car while in park and doing other "questionable" maneuvers. My car made it to the shop in one piece, I however was very uncomfortable with the way things were handled. Would not recommend. read more

I had sheetz tow my car and they took it and dropped it three blocks from the repair shop, the shop did not find it for two days . Very incompetent drivers. Will never use again .also 2 hours late . They didn't even call. read more

I got my car towed to Withams Collision center in Waterloo after sliding into a fire hydrant. The Collision center workers couldn't find my car for 4 DAYS because they dropped my car off and left the key IN THE IGNITION. The guy that towed my car was supposed to drop them in the key box. I got my car towed at 3:30 pm and no one knew when it was. Sheetz left my car unlocked in their parking lot, not even in a locked part of the parking lot. Anyone could have stolen my car throughout the weekend. I'm pretty sure they also messed up my trunk even though the only damage in the accident was to the front of my car, the whole trunk was soaked with water. I hope no ever uses this towing company again. Witham also said this is a normal thing their employees are doing. I expect my car to be treated with respect yet when I went to empty my car out, there was mud all over the steering wheel, gear shift, and door. If your gloves are muddy from the chains then I would expect them to take them off considering I'm a paying customer. Never use this company. read more

I'm in town working on an extended assignment. I go to start my truck on a SATURDAY morning and nothing. Luckily, I called Craig at Crossroads, who was also awesome. He recommended a wrecker service - Sheetz. A lot of places would have put the screws to transient business, or bumped them until they had nothing to do, but they came right over, and got me to the shop. Really fair price, too! read more

I had my car towed here by the cedar falls police discretion when I was in an accident. They were very friendly and helpful. I had them take my car to an auto body shop to have inspected by my insurance. The man on the phone through Sheetz Towing OFFERED to take my license plates off for me so I could pick them up at a later date so I wouldn't have to drive all the way out to do so. When I called the following week to make sure they had my plates before driving all the way out there, they told me they had no record of my car being there. They then proceeded by telling me they were going to talk to whoever worked that day and give me a call back. No call. I called three more times only to receive no call back. After calling them again today, I learned the news that they have no idea where my plates are and that it would be $5 to go get new plates at the dmv. No apology, nothing. Yes, they did what they had to do to tow my car from one place to the next, but poorly handled my situation and obviously have poor filing and record handling. Also whoever works in the office obviously doesn't know how to write a number down and give their customer a call back. Would not recommend to a friend and wont be going through this towing company again, even if the police want me to go through them. Bad experience. read more

Towed my car illegally, and wanted me to pay $107. Building owners told sheetz towing to tow car parked in no parking zone. my car was legally parked in my parking spot and still got it towed. Driver was high on drugs when he towed my car. these people don't know what they are doing. i would not recommend them to ANYONE!!! Poor Poor Service.. read more

I highly recommend NOT using Sheetz towing. I had my car towed due to losing my only set of keys. It was towed from a local business to my home. It was evening so it was dark. The next morning I went out to my car and noticed that thebrake light was damaged. The broken pieces were laying on the ground. Corey was the tower and had difficulty getting my car off the flatbed. I called 3 different times to talk to someone with Sheetz about the damage. When someone finally got back to me about it. The woman claimed that Corey said that the damage was already done when he picked my vehicle up and that the pieces were on the ground from it falling off. Corey never told us that there was any damage to my vehicle when he picked it up and dropped it off. I feel that Sheetz is trying to get out of paying for the damage that Corey caused when he towed my car. DON'T USE THIS TOWING COMPANY. If you car is damaged you are S.O.L. read more
