I thought it was my fault and that the slipcover wasn't washable so I didn't contact the company at that time. About 2 years later, I was looking for a chair to go in the room, and I showed the designer a picture of my room. She immediately commented that the slipcover looked too tight. I told her at that time that the slipcover shrunk after washing. After sending out people to look at the sectional, it was decided that they would split the cost of a new slipcover with me. However, the owner, Stacy, and the manufacturer would admit to no wrongdoing and would only say that the "new one shouldn't shrink." After spending over $25000 at their store, I wasn't prepared to pay any additional money to maybe rectify the situation. The most troubling aspect is that I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and they didn't even have the decency or courtesy of responding or trying to work with me to resolve this problem. The designers and support staff are very helpful and supportive (with a great eye) which is the only reason that I gave the store 2 stars. Unfortunately, they and their customers are not supported by the owner. I have included pictures of the sectional with the tears that have occurred from trying to get the slipcover back on the sectional.

We were in search of a rug for our living room. The third generation owner, Jerome, was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. We looked at a couple dozen rugs from Iran, Pakistan, India, China, and Afghanistan. We did this after Jerome explained how the rugs were made on the display loom. He was incredibly patient as we slowly eliminated rugs to a final two, and decided to buy both. We actually bought a small third at the very end. His selection is incredible. Color palette and sizes run the gamut. A few older carpets are available, and are priced accordingly. He carries mostly hand knotted and a few machine made. The prices were highly competitive and Jerome was excited to offer a good deal without being asked. We also brought in an antique hand loomed rug to see if he could repair a few fringed edges and clean it. He explained the repair process and showed us his impressive cleaning area, wringing machine, and drying rooms. His quote was a great deal and we hope to pick our rug up in a few weeks. You can tell by the number of large rugs in the back there for cleaning that he is reputable. We had a great experience. And, we highly recommend.

I wanted to replace the 15 year old blinds that were in the house I moved into from VA. I thought…read morethat shutters would be the best option, but was willing to explore other options. I had three companies visit my house, including Nest Expressions. In addition to regular squared windows, my house also has a semi-circle window that wasn't covered & I was interested in seeing options for that as well. The owner visited & brought along all his window coverings. There were some fancy blinds that could darken a room or filter some light in (honeycomb shades, I think). After assessing the options, we decided to stay with the plantation shutters & decided to work with Nest expressions, over the other companies. They sell Hunter-Douglas brand products; though I don't know a whole lot about these type of products, that is a brand I have heard of. A lesser selling point to me, was that their products are USA made, which naturally I'm willing to buy if all else being equal. We liked the fact that we could get faux (fake) wood shutters in several shades. One of the other companies had only faux wood in white, which we didn't want. The owner measured each of my windows exactly, even though they're all pretty much the same, except for the bay window in the front of the house + the half-circle window. We were also presented a few options on the design of the large shutter how we wanted it opened & hinged I didn't agree to a contract at that point as I was still awaiting an estimate from one of the other vendors. But while waiting, we pretty much decided to use Nest Expressions. They weren't the cheapest option, but the owner worked with us to get the best deal possible. I was confident these would be of top quality. We also worked a bit on the sales tax, as I had a notion that they should be tax-free since they become fully attached, and thus, a part of the house itself. The owner also consulted his CPA & it turned out that it was somewhere in the middle as I recall. The time to have them (custom) made in the factory was about a month. They called me in advance to set a time & date. Everything went well. The installer was very professional & did the work quickly & cleaned-up afterward. I've not experienced any problems since the installation over a year ago.
