We were greeted as soon as we walked in by a friendly employee and also met by a friendly sales pup. We were guided directly to the correct department and then met by a knowledgeable sales person. This made our tile shopping experience go smoothly. After choosing our selections we also met the owner who also gave us additional information for new cabinets for our bathroom remodel. There is an extremely unfriendly and total bad vibes older male employee here who sits at the first desk on the right side right after you walk in. I had a question about a hardwood plank we needed to replace and he immediately acted like I was bothering him. Then when I explained the situation we were having, he put his own twist on it and basically said what I was saying couldn't happen. Very odd. Definitely the strangest and worst vibe interaction I've ever had. This man shouldn't be interacting with customers on any level. Avoid. You couldn't pay me to ever set foot in there again. We purchased flooring from ERIC at SP floors that we would install ourselves. My husband asked if we had any boxes left over can we return them. ERIC stated "there is a restocking fee" but if its only 1 or 2 of the plank boxes you should save them for repairs later if needed. Which sounded reasonable. At the end of the Job we had 6 boxes. We have called numerous times to ERIC and he promises to talk to his "manager" but never calls back. My husband went to the SP flooring on Washington road and spoke with him directly 9/21/21 and he pointed out the small print that states the flooring is non-returnable despite his previous comment of a restocking fee that he told my husband. mean while we met with him 4 times prior to the purchase and never once did he say it was not returnable. I would give this company a NEGATIVE 5 but that is not an option. After my husband met with him yesterday he just got up and walked away.......Poor communication, no return callx4 after being promised he would do so, deceptive sales. Go elsewhere. read more

SP Floors has an amazing selection with great prices. My husband and I went to various flooring stores and either found little help from staff, low selection, or high prices. We were so excited to find this store and ordered tile for our kitchen, stacked stone for our fireplace, and linoleum for a storage room. We worked with Doug Kennedy who knows everything there is to know about floors. I described the specific look I was going for in our kitchen tile and he pointed me to several samples that fit the bill. He was great to work with through the whole process! Can't recommend this store enough, we will be customers again in the future! read more

Turn around and run!! This SP Floors and Design Center is absolutely horrible. The woman that tried to assist my husband and I was a know it all that talked way too much. I knew what I was looking for and instead of trying to assist me, she tried to push products on us that were the total opposite of what we described. She also was argumentative and I had to redirect the conversation several times. Finally she walked away to ask a co-worker a question and we ran out of the store as fast as we could!! We will never step foot in that store again. Not to mention that the information she provided was completely opposite of what we have been advised by the other 4 places we looked!! After having a HORRIFIC experience with SP Floors, including having workers that (without asking) warmed food up in my microwave and then sat in my living room with their feet up on my furniture to eat it, damaged my floor boards, broke my refrigerator water line, damaged the track on my doors due to carelessly ripping them off, threw their paint covered tools all over my brand new carpet, etc etc, the owner came to my house, admitted that the floor should not look the way that it does, then told me they were going to having meetings about it and resolve it. That was over 2 MONTHS AGO and they have never even called me back about it, let alone resolved the issue!! While they were at my house trying to figure out why my floor looked like crap, the owner, Veronica, asked me to please take down my post on this site because it was hurting their business. She said if we don't resolve this issue to your standards then you can put the post back up. I was nice enough to do that for her. I erased my entire prior post. Well Veronica, not only did you not resolve the issue, you never even emailed/called me back about the issue. So here goes me putting my post back up, with more added! Trust me when I tell you, this company will NEVER admit fault when they screw your floor up! They will always figure out a way not to fix it and somehow blame it on you so they don't have to take fault and spend the money to fix it. They are an ok company until there's a problem and then they are out of the picture. You won't hear from them. Not only did I have to deal with the most unprofessional workers I have ever had in my house (that says a lot because I've had lots of work done), my floor looks horrible. For anyone that needs proof, I have plenty of pictures to send out to whomever wants them! I would've let the unprofessionalism go if my floor looked half decent, but that's not the case. And for the owner to come to my house and admit that my floor did not look the way it was supposed to and say they would figure out a solution and contact me back and then NEVER hear a word from her, is such bad business. If you use this company, pray that all goes well because you're on your own if it doesn't! They will never have your back! They were the flooring company our builder used. I thought they were great with a lot of choices. We chose the flooring that they stated was "durable and held up with large pets." Now, we don't have large pets but we did have a 2 and 4 year old at the time. Less than a year later I noticed little indentations on the floor. These indentations were where there is absolutely no furniture and there were some where we have bar stools that our 2 and 4 year sit at but they have the felt padding on it. I contacted SP flooring after reviewing our warranty which stipulated that it was covered as long as I mitigated the damages (felt covers) plus the area where there was no furniture and or traffic of people didn't make any sense to me. SP Floors wouldn't even call me back. They then tried the high heel thing but I medically can't wear high heels and dont. I contacted my builder but they stated that I was out of warranty with them. But I had over a 10 year warranty with SP Floors. They refused to return my calls or come and even look at what I was talking about. I did have a contractor look at it and he stated it just look like a few of the planks weren't allowed to dry properly when they were installed. I NEVER heard from SP floors. I contacted the manufacturer and they were very helpful. However, I feel like I have a either a defective product or poorly installed floor. However, because no one would even come out to look I will never know. It terrible that we paid all of our hard earned money and this company can't even come look at their product and we are only 2 months out of year from moving in.
