Instead, they barely finished our second floor and had none of our first floor done when we returned. On top of that, it took them an additional three days to finish the job. The final job included uneven floors, floors that creaked, and floors that were not evenly distributed. They clearly were in a hurry, with quality being a minor concern. They offered us $500 credit for a future job but their pricing for said future job was so outrageous it seemed a joke. Instead we went another direction. We used Empire for our addition 6 months later, and the quality difference is noticeable. The Empire floors are solid, even, and stable. The Molyneaux floors are uneven, inconsistently placed, and lacking quality for the price charged. Overall very disappointing.

We had problems from the beginning and this was an expensive five room and two hallway job. I…read morepicked out luxury vinyl flooring that I was assured would work in our home. A week before the job 75 cases of flooring were delivered to my home which had to acclimate. A field service man came out to spec the job and do moisture testing etc. He questioned with Rusmur if the floor would work as click and he was assured it could be clicked and glued. On the day of installation I was told by the installers that the click luxury vinyl flooring would not work and we had to pick other luxury vinyl flooring that was glue down only. This was after one room of carpet and padding was already removed and our house was in chaos from furniture moved into other rooms. I was originally told to expect three - four days for installation and management tells me on day 1 they had allotted 1 day for their efficient installers and that they had expected all items removed from the furniture in all the rooms. That couldn't happen! So Rusmur management found a similar product that matched in color to what I had selected and had a truck deliver the new flooring in the afternoon so the installers could continue prepping the floors they were working on. Was told it came from an air controlled warehouse and no need to acclimate. After the job was completed (day 4) the installers left and the truck finally came to pick up the incorrect 75 cases of flooring. Upon further inspection of the newly installed glued down flooring I noticed some of the tiles were not adhering to the floor and their was a noticeable dimple in one of the tiles right in the center of a hallway. During the installation the installers removed all of my quarter round molding along my baseboards to lay the flooring yet upon completion of the job I saw that they left areas of baseboard without laying quarter round i.e. in doorways and in front of forced air registers. I had my salesman come out to look at the issues and he took pictures and said someone would be calling in 2-3 days to schedule follow-up repair work. I gave them a full business week to contact me and no one has called. Rusmur is great at making a sale but they certainly fall short from verifying that the flooring selection will work, installation issues as described and poor follow-up after the fact. Quick to take your money though!

They moved…read moreall the furniture out of our kitchen and laundry room, prepped the floor and laid the new floor and moved everything back into place. They had to disconnect the washer and dryer and re-connect, everything was done correctly and worked well when they were done. The new floor looks wonderful and it was hassle free with Humble Carpet. This company has done work for me in the past and I will not call anyone else for flooring and ceramic tile work. Why go somewhere else when I have found a family owned company that appreciates my business and does a great job. And they are reasonably priced too! Thank you Humble Carpet. Nanette

The carpet sample seemed a lot better than what was installed and the padding is nonexistent. Not exaggerating, it feels like there's no padding. My two young kids have already complained after casual rough housing. Customer service hasn't been helpful and doing the passing the buck routine. I paid over $9k expecting to have something that will last my family for 15 years. This is dreadfully disappointing. Avoid at all costs!

The entire process went smoothly from the presale review of options, pricing options, and know how of the staff. Installation was completed within one week for a job that was more complicated than anticipated. Pricing was transparent and everything handled professionally. Financing was a great option. They also arranged for painting and it was done beautifully and super quick! We compared several local options and some national names and ultimately molyneaux struck the right balance of large enough but local enough for us. We will go back for future work if needed.

Admittedly this was a small job, but they said they could do it. However, when it came to scheduling the installer to come out and look at it they gave me one excuse after another. This went on for two months. I finally gave up, but by this time my project had been significantly delayed. They were not honest with me that they had no intention of doing my job (or they could not get their contracted installer to do the job - he was not their employee). If the job is too small or beyond their usual skills, why not just tell me? I would have appreciated that far more. I would never go back to them for anything.

He was very personable and arrived on time every day for our four day project. He did a great job on removing our ceramic tile and subfloor and installing the new subfloor then the vinyl tile and new stained baseboards which he let me stain as I wanted and then he installed. GREAT JOB, I would recommend him to anybody. Note: both the materials and the installation was a great value and quality.
